versions of Wm6

Hello, i'm french. This forum is very interresting, many roms and users...
I have a question about Wm6.
I have already the WM6 2.02 WWE version, and i want to know if there is a better version than mine.
I have see that the 2.05 WWE, 2.20 and other version exists, but I have have difficulties to know what is the best version.
If you can help me, I will be very happy^^ And sorry for me bad english...

But on the french forum, they don't recommend this rom, saying that the 2.02WWE coming from their forum is better. It's the reality or it's only compete with the other forum?

I don't know which forum you're talking about and i'm not sure I want to know...The better advice is : try yourself and you can give your opinion about it ...good or bad !!

Hi Venum,
This rom on the french Forum was making with the laurentius Kitchen V7 based on midget Rom (one of the best base at the moment). she was cooked with oem application and after translate in french with french language file from WM6 emulator.
There is no competition at all, only a cooked rom with leo kitchen tools (thanks leo btw) and a translation !

[20/05/13 WM|MUI|PDA|Localization] Your favorite ROM in your native language!

You've spent hours or even weeks to find the best ROM for you and finally found it but it's as usual WWE only?!
From now it's not a problem anymore!
Any language MUI pack is possible for any Windows Mobile PDA (HTC, ASUS, E-Ten etc)!​
Short story is that I was exactly the one who was searching for the best ROM which fits my needs and found it, but faced problems with my native language support (e.g. searching contacts). I spent nights trying different MUI packages, but none was really workable with this ROM. Finally I came to the conclusion that the only MUI package which will 100% work with exact ROM is specially cooked MUI package for this ROM! And problem is solved now with the tool I've implemented!
Here below you will find MUI packs for the most famous ROMs. If you can't find pack for your ROM and language - simply ask for it and provide me with your favorite ROM, your native language official ROM and you'll get back appropriate MUI pack.
Known issues:
Not 100% translation yet
Software keyboard will not be translated (third party keyboard usually used)
Installation:
Download CAB attached
Install CAB
Soft reset device
You are using these packs on your own risk!

Ha ! This is realy good news to see as there is only a few Polish roms and to be honest almost all of them are quite bad.
Can I request a pack for PDACorner v21 ? Also I downloaded HyperDragon IV Rhodium today and I think I will give a try to it too then PLK pack for HDIV would be nice.

Two questions:
1. does Rogers HTC Touch ( Elf ) has built in GPS? If yes, what are the steps to enable it?
2. can I install Sprint Rom on a Rogers HTC touch?
I will appreciate if some one help me with this as I have spent a lot of time searching on the we.

Sorry for a delay. We have a holiday here in poland and I was wisiting my friends and family.

Korean Language
I too was searching for ANY Rom with Korean support. All I had was installing DioPen or Asukal Hangul No5. But had issues with few programs.
I would be wonderful if you can upload or show me "how-to", it will be much appreciated.
Any WM6.1 or WM6.5 Roms will be fine.....

I got a O2 XDA Nova (HTC Elf) with an Onyx ROM v4.4
But you ssem to have the same problem, but I ask myself why there are MUI packs available for the ONYX &Elf but do not work?

For the moment this is set of tools which I'm using to localize files and it is not in the release shape yet.
Tell me which exactly ROM you'd like to have Korean and I'll try to help you.

As I said in the headline - there is no universal MUI pack for any ROM, you have to build MUI pack for each ROM kernel.
So, tell me which language you want Onyx ROM v4.4 to be?

Athine OS in spanish?
I'd like to have AthineOS ME 22 jan in spanish. There are lots of WM 6.1 roms in
spanish around, but if you need I could send you one. Can you do this for me?

Theoretically C6625 is upgradable to WM6.5, but as I don't have this phone, I can't try to make a working ROM for it.

yes to all the master here pleeasee.... the c6625 rom was build 20758 so i cant use the ordinary theme like freddyreyes has (witch i think was very cool,i use it on my dopod s300 with erofich rom).when i try to use it on my valencia the message was "wrong layout"

at 4pda you can find lot of Russian ROMs.
oops, i forgot.. Cotulla is Russian ROM maker (his roms run fine on G3 Uni's, on G4 broblems with flash disk)

For now here are my results:
1) WM6.5 21501 FR !! by Team Amenatis CV93 and tchitchi
And one English with just a patch FR for the skin : Pcarvalho eXtreme (Beta) 3.19 ROM ...
Have you another?
Ideas? (With links please)

FR rom was often asked but no more FR rom for wm6.5 @M-Amine left the Polaris forum.
But if you want to start cooking a FR wm6.5 and share it rom you can.
Personnaly i prefere stay on WWE rom like that i can have the lastest rom available thanks to @pcarvalho.

Yes, I agree with you, I prefer use the latest version but if this version could be in french it would be much better
However I think it's not very troublesome to use an English version
