Hey guys, thought i'd share some morphs for the Sense dialer. These should work for any Sense based rom as long as you have MetaMorph installed. Install instructions are below, please be sure you read and follow them fully. I will also take requests if they are reasonable. These mods are only for roms based off Incredible framework and running Sense 1.0. If any issues come up please post in the thread stating what rom and file you flashed.
It seems people are not following the directions fully, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE DIRECTIONS BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS OR CLAIMING THE FILES DON'T WORK.
INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE READ
To use files in this thread first download the MetaMorph morph file corresponding to the theme you would like to install, as well as the dialer parts and place them on the root of your SD card.
Reboot into recovery and ONLY flash the file labeled FLASH IN RECOVERY
After booting go to the marketplace or here and then download MetaMorph.
Load up MetaMorph and choose Unzip/Extract new theme. Navigate to the file labeled morph and apply. Once rebooted you will have the theme applied.

**ATTENTION SKY RAIDER 4.0 USERS**
Because Sky Raider 4.0 has mods and enhancements not found in stock Sense, I have created Sky Raider 4.0 specific mods to flash with this rom. You can find these mods below the regular download link. Rember by flashing these modded dialers you are doing so at your own risk and I am not held liable for any damages or problems that may occur.

Will this work on HD-Z port for DInc? Or will there be framework issues?
To be honest I have no clue, I dont know what was all added or changed in the new Sense on the HD. More than likely it wont work. This was more meant for stock Sense.
The dialer should work but I am not sure what the framework will do. For sure it will override any mods like icons or rosie mods that are in the com.htc.resources.apk
All the dialer needs in the framework is a few images since all the mods are in dialer and phone apk's. If N-Forced posts a copy of the resources images they can be copied into any com.htc.resources.apk and it should work.
Working beautifully on DI SR 3.5 w/stock kernal.

Spoke to soon, now when I hold my power button down the phone just reboots, no reboot menu.
Any way to fix that for SR?
Ok, I did the test a total of 3 times now nandroid to SR3.5 and no other mods.
Everything works fine. Flash Black Sense Dialer, everything works fine a dialer is beautiful but every time I long press my power but my phone just reboots.
Any ideas Nils?

Will this work on other phones as well?
It should work on any ROM that is based on the Incredible framework. In other words it may not work on a Z or EVO based ROM.
If your asking for other than the Incredible then do a Nand backup and try it

Here is the CWM3 version straight from my Desire Z ROM. I can not guarantee they will work on the other Z ROM's since there is some dependency on the framework
Just do a Nand backup and try it

Others are reporting that it works on Warm Z.
Have you tried the one I just posted? There is another version floating around created by someone else and may not be the latest

Thought i would give this a try since you are using my 2 favorite themes...- Did full wipe, cant skip setup, when i try to it FC and starts over. When i try to enter my gmail info, i cant. the keyboard will not show. No keyboard for me on any text entry during setup and cant skip setup. To many bugs right off the bat for me.

Tried mirror same problem. No keyboard during setup, crashes if you try to skip.

Got the problems fixed uploading now. Sorry for those who had issues. Also if you have issues flashing unsigned files this might not be the ROM for you. Using RipTides Rosie might switch back might not.
let me know when you get this fixed and i'll try it again. Right now imma try theme porter and see if i can snag your bad ass looking theme

using riptides rosie does that change the lock screen bar? or is that separate? Manups lockscreen is my favorite

Everything should be working now, sorry about that.. pictures in post #1 are a little different like I don't have the icons at the moment, and the Rosie is from Riptide9 theme not ManUps. I'm debating which Rosie to use. One of the Apps is messing up the system so no App icons till I figure out which one it is. The keyboard was an easy fix.

Yeah so far everything seems ok. Cooking dinner so i haven't messed around with it to much. I cant wait for the program icons and hopefully the manup rosie to be put back. I'll check it out thoroughly after dinner and report back. Looks pretty good so far, thanks.

I am proud to present The SuperManEvo theme for Cyanogenmod 6.1.2 stable and CM7 nightly build 6. At the request of others who liked the Batman theme, but wanted a Superman theme, I undertook the task and themed it for CM6. Rujelus has also created a Sense version of this and is posted below as well. We have shared files, so they are similar in a lot of ways, but his will be for Sense Roms. For those of you who do not know him, he is the creator of the Batman theme.
I have themed almost everything, so I hope you will enjoy. There are also 3 splash screens to choose from below. There's a themed keyboard (HTC). and a wallpaper pack. last of all uploaded the superman ringtone for those who want to go all out. As usual, I am not responsible for your phone, you are. If you jack it up it's on you. Do a Nandroid backup before flashing.

i tried that once i go to the apk. it says its already install on my phone it gives me the option to launch or uninstall i tried to uninstall it so i can install it again but it won't let me uninstall it must be confuse thinking its my stock keyboard

I got the keyboard working on mine. If its already installed go to setting/keyboard/check mark HTC mod. Then go to your messages n press n hold until u get into input method and Chekhov HTC mod. Hopefully this helps.

You need to be rooted running Cyanogenmod 6 for any of this to work

It seems that a lot of people like my battery icons, every time I post a screen shot somewhere someone always asks "what battery is that?"
So...
These are MetaMorph themes and they work with the latest Sense builds. Your ROM must already have the battery percent on your ROM already for these to work.
NOTE: These have been tested on the following ROMs:
Skyraider 3.0 and above
Wes342's Super-Z
Nils Business_Sense_Desire-Z
I will do some more research and find out what other ROMs are compatable.
The ROMs above use a folder in the framework named "drawable-hdpi" some of the other ROMs use a folder named"drawable-hdpi-v4"
I am currently working on these for the Virtuous 3.1.0 Rom.
I can't express enough how important it is to do a nand backup first, you are modifying system files! Be forewarned, I can not be held responsible for anything that goes wrong.
I have had hit and miss luck with MetaMorph, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I have had a couple of occasions where it has locked up my phone and I have had to restore from a backup.
Alternative method:
If you are familiar with modifying framework files you can also modify your framework-res.apk file and use adb to push it back to your phone.

These are not flashable zips...
They are MetaMorph themes, you need to use MetaMorph to install them.
These are not working in metamorph..
The wifi or battery files didnt apply on virtuous rom. Installed.with latest metamorph. Rebooted and no.changes.

Hopefully you done a backup first.
I done some research and Virtuous Rom has a different framework than Skyraider 3.5 and SuperZ ROMs.
It looks like I should have done some more research before posting these.
Restore from your backup and then try this file for the WIFI, it should work for you.

Well I got it to work using ninjamorph by manually inserting the wifi pngs into the framework.apk. What I noticed about the battery pack is that your script isn.t inserting the png's into the right folder. The icons look great though good work.

You have in your instructions that they work for Sense roms but I just installed the Red mod. battery on CM6.1 so like you said metamorph is funny like that.
I can't get the wifi one to work.. running Uber Z sense rom..
Different ROMs use different framework structure.
I just checked the UberZ ROM and here is what you need to do to make it work.
Go to the theme folder and rename the "drawable-hdpi" folder to "drawable-hdpi-v4"
Then it should work.

I haven't. Downloaded that theme but I would bet it would work.
Do a nand backup and try it.
I cannot flash this.. I think that this is not even flashable zip: it not include android sign's.. Can you cimpile this for me? I am using HTC Desire HD phone with Android Revolution 2.0.3a. I will donate you if you success port Fancy Battery Green for me!

These are not flashable, they are metamorph themes
and only intended for use on the droid incredible

Hey so, this is a total n00b question... but what am I doing wrong? I put the zip on my phone, rebooted into recovery mode, applied the zip and then rebooted and nothing changes as far as the theme is concerned. Am I supposed to do this a different way?

Yep, sure did. Wipe, then cm_inc_full-22.zip, then gapps-gb-20110120-signed.zip, and then finally Carbonite_CM7_Nightly_22.zip. When I boot, it looks stock (well, stock for CM).

sweet i cant wait. only reason i haven't flashed a theme is because they update the rom every night. but i cant wait for an rc so i can flash yours.
Would you guys like me to make the status bar icons (voicemail, text, e-mail, etc) blue or would you prefer me to leave them stock?
You could make them blue I'm with the Guy who asked about the theme working with the theme Chooser within cm7. I think that would make it so much easier to apply the theme.
very noob questions (not familiar with htc, very familiar with moto), but is there a way to flash an AOSP rom (CM7) and still install some of the htc widgets (friendstream, etc)? I also like the htc lockscreen better, and even rosie. I'd love to add them to this theme if possible.

you can have something similar...its carbonite fusion v4...it has sense which is what you're looking for but it doesn't look the same. the answer to youre question, no, this is a senseless rom.

thanks for the response. i know this is a senseless rom, though. my question was, will installing htc widgets (friendstream.apk, for example) work on an AOSP rom or will i get installation errors/force closes?
i guess i could just try it for myself but i was hoping someone else could tell me the answer

No they will not work because you need Rosie which is HTC. Stick around though, anyone who has used my carbonite fusion rom will be in for a treat over the next few days. I am working on some things that will be very similar.

what if I installed rosie.apk as well on an AOSP rom? or would not that work either? I'm guessing no, bc rosie probably needs/has other system files associated with it in order to work
Exactly. Have you tried Launcher Pro Plus? It has a friendstream-like widget. I will be working on theming that as well.

yea, it's a good widget too. and the calendar widget looks similar to HTC's as well. but i used to get some bad lag/redraws with launcher pro plus on my original droid. prob won't be the case with the Inc. though. I'll go that route when I make the switch to an AOSP rom

This is the new home of the Carbonite series theme for CyanogenMod 7 for the Evo 4G. I do not have a Evo, I came from the Incredible forums, but I thought you guys might like this. I will update the nightlys as I can. For those that are using RC3 I have one for that. I also have an apk for people who like to use the theme chooser app.. If there is anything you would like themed just comment in the thread or send me a PM and I will work on it.

1. Carbonite.apk must be installed through astro file manager or like file manager, once installed it must be applied through the theme chooser app.
2. Pick a theme appropriate to the version of CM7 you are running (RC or Nightly) This must be flashed through recovery just like the Rom and must be flashed after flashing the Rom.
If you are having trouble you might need to wipe dalvik cache.

this is a noob question, but I dont have a clue how to do it coming from launcherpro, but how do I change the stock dock that came with CM7 to your carbon dock?
I like this theme. But the 4g icon is still green not blue. Just a note. If the latest version had fixed this I am sorry. I am downloading it now.

Difficulties with install
I've tried many different ways of doing this theme install after putting CM7 RC4 on from the ROM manager.
first i dl'd the carbonite apk then went to file explorer unzipped to folder on sd and then ran the carbonite.apk ... and the app installs but no difference in look or theme.
second i uninstalled carbonite then installed the cm7 rc4 supersonic then tried running the carbonite.apk thinking that it references that folder... no luck
third tried running the framework apk from the supersonic folder and no luck "Application not installed"
Perhaps i need to install your rom for this to work? Any chance i can get a step by step on which apk to install and where i'm going wrong here. I even tried running the zip from sd card on startup but only some of the theme changed and not all so i wiped and now have a fresh version of the cm7 RC4 from the ROM manager desperately seeking assistance.

After much consideration I have decided not to make flashable themes anymore. The apk for the T-mobile theme engine will be used from now on. It has been a concern by some people how this will affect the lock screen theme as well as other things. I will include a metamorph theme to apply to fix this too.
The advantage to using this method is that I can include things like inclusive skins for paid apps such as Fancy Widgets, Launcher Pro Plus.
The other advantage is that from now on if you update CM7 you do not have to wait for me to update the theme since you already have it, the only extra effort on your part is to re-apply the MM theme.
I hope this will be good foe everyone. At this time I have a few issues I am trying to work out. The main one being the dialer. The theme engine doesn't like to resize the images so it looks bad. My proposition is to add a poll for now to get your ideas. Please vote HERE so I can know what you would like best. For now try the apk and let me know what you think.
