[Q] Shoutcast Retro Radio - G Tablet General

I am running fully stock with the update. I have installed Retro Radio to play Shoutcast radio. When you select a station I get an alert of ongoing task and does not play. Sometimes I get a force close. Any ideas if Shoutcast or Retro Radio will work?

I use Tunein radio from the market. It used to be called Radiotime and I paid for it. Now it is free. You can get Shoutcast stations with it by using the search feature, and local radio stations from all over the country.

Tunnelin worked. Thanks

A good app for listening to internet radio?

I'm a big fan of the Radio feature on iTunes, is there any app that allows me to listen to those stations on my 8125?

I use Xiaalive and it works really well doing that ( I use it in my car), but i wish TuneIn supported it too....

radio station that doesn't use data?

I know it's a stupid question. But the idea I have in my head is something just like Pandora except when you're connected to WiFi it automatically downloads a preset number of songs to your phone so whenever you're connected to data you could just play the random downloaded songs right off of your phone. Is something like this around? If not someone should work on developing something like this for real.
i believe that some music apps will keep a cache of songs that you play over wifi or data available offline.
might want to investigate that route.
i think i usedthis a few times with google play music
I believe Slacker radio does this. Haven't used it for quite some time though.

Google Music does this, you can 'pin' songs, albums, or playlists and they will be downloaded to your phone so they're always available.
Oh ok. I'll check out slacker radio. & as far as Google music goes, I listen to a lot of jazz & classical & I like various types so I don't have them on my actual player. I use Poweramp for all my downloaded stuff. Will Google Music allow me to just create a jazz or classical station?
Check out Tune In radio. It may be a paid feature but you can download whole radio broadcasts from local and internet radio stations. I listen to jazz and classical as well and there are a bunch of different jazz and classical stations, all different genres, too.

Web radio like TuneIn for Chromecast?

I'm trying to find a service, kind of like TuneIn, that can I can use with Chromecast to play web radio on my TV.
Are there any? I googled without much success...
Try "Simple Radio Recorder"
A free player with a lot of stations and CC-Support. You find it on Google Play
It seems like a decent player but it doesnt really work for me

[App Request] Radio talk filter

Hi!
I'd like to ask if there is any Radio App that can change a station when DJ starts talking or ad starts playing. In another words, some "Ads/Talk Free Radio" which plays music only.
One important thing: I'm talking about "real" AM/FM radio, not internet radio.
PS. I'd like to know if it's possible at all. May be this radio program could use something like Shazam, to recognize talking and music...
