Awesome job works great will donate soon. Did notice I did not have protected apps in marketplace though again. So I replaced the fingerprint in /system/build.prop with the fingerprint from the usc mesmerize pick and pack rom. Rebooted phone and slingplayer and stuff now show up. Once again great work to all involved.

Use root explorer to replace /system/build.prop with this one. After reboot should see protected apps.

On a seperate note multi part texts seem to not be showing right if sent from stock messaging app. Works fine with handcent though. Recipient just got garbled text on there end. Might have been a fluke but it is something to keep an eye out for.

Pretty much look the same as other one. Would post mine but I deleted all default screens and then installed go launcher again. Lots of cool little things in froyo though. I keep finding new stuff. Yup, in fact they added a button for Auto Rotation so that you can disable it when you're lying down and don't want that **** to rotate!
Air plane mode isn't there though (it's in your power options) just Wi-FI/BT/GPS/SILENT/AutoRotation
I'm not having any issues with text... i did the Prop file... Not sure if i was having a problem with that or not though
If the voodoo kernel is installed, should we disable lagfix, or does this rewrite everything? I guess the factory reset takes care of that?
EDIT: Went ahead and took the plunge after disabling lagfix. I realize it probably wasn't necessary, but better safe than sorry.
This is incredibly awesome for you to do for us. Thank you very much.

My idea of theming is putting on my own wallpaper and having a green icon for the messaging app...that's it.
So does this only change the font size in the lockscreen bar to properly show the date? I tried other fonts and was not happy about how they reduced and blurred messages in texts.
well i havent used bonsai in a while so i dont know what battery icon, or status bar icons, or text colors... or many other elements they use.. but this will change all of that to either stock or srf style, depending on which fix you use...
THANK YOU!!!! this has been driving me crazy

Thanks a ton for this effect! I love this feature but I'm having the same issues I had with this that I had with another rom. Everything was running very smooth on my widgets but after adding the carousel, my facebook, people, mail and message widgets all are very laggy. I don't know what it is about this feature that does that but I'm not sure it's a good tradeoff for the performance I was having. Someone will probably figure it out in good time though. Very nice to have this option though. Thanks given!
p.s. It did take away right button rosie setting feature. Back to personalization.

Yes, of course it will run on Cyanogen Rom. There is, of course, no reason to use this when there is a working, fully-optimized, ROOTED Evo 3d Port exclusive to Cyanogenmod users that you can download right here..

Hey fdb8231, thanks a lot for this and your efforts to get our carousels spinning! Lol, I do have one question though. What's the difference between the rosie3 that came in the synergy nightly 0.18 zip (with all 3d widgets included) and this one, because it seems like that one was sized for our screens a little better. the issue I had with that one was it threw all htc widgets out of wack and caused FCs (probably from flashing a nightly on RC1, but a lot of people said it worked flawlessly). Where did this rosie.apk come from?

Thank you bbelos for the port of kernel 3.x
This thread will contain test builds of a Nyan colonel built off of kernel 3.x. This does not currently have voodoo sound or over clock capabilities. This has a bunch of tweaks I have found and would like tested such as didle and other new things. This is based on the 3.x port by bbelos.
What does not work:
Vibration
4G WiMax
Compass
You need to put the following files on your SD card along with the kernel:
Download all files here besides zImage
Now you will need to download the test kernel. If it is named zImage.bin, rename it zImage:
6/3/12 9:49 EST: http://i.minus.com/1338785488/MLUAXU3KBgO9DEjDXcsUKA/iyU7MabwAtc4I
Flash boot_zImage_with_boot.zip in CWM or twrp and it should reboot into the kernel.
It should be mentioned the orientation sensor doesn't work either, although I'm not sure if it's just the auto-rotation feature that doesn't work or it won't even turn orientation when you want to change the orientation of your camera.
One question though: What are the benefits of the new kernel?

The screen orientation, oddly enough, is not handled by the orientation sensor. Or at least not in this case. It must be handled by the accelerometer. The orientation sensor is needed for things like compass apps, etc.

Back up.
Bbelos accidentally posted links to Uberpinguin's private file server and I used the kexec zip link from his blog post. guess i missed all the "fun." pretty glad i did too. anyways, i still havent tried this kernel out. i'll try to give it a shot tonight. does it work with any ics rom or should i stick with cm while testing it now? and as far as the tweaks you mention in the OP, are they behind the scenes tweaks, or should i use a specific app to utilize them, like nstools for live OC and such on your other kernels? which i still dont really know how to use, lol. i just leave the live OC option at 100% on nstools. not sure what im sposed to use for the best performance or best battery tho. but ill go to the nyan v5 thread to ask about that stuff.

So far, smooth.
Issues:
The back and home are reversed. (Recent apps does work, long press back)
Sound is messed up. Have to have headphones plugged in for sound to work correctly through the speakers. (Will not actually play through headphones)
Need more options to have volume wake but that's on cm's end.
