I've a couple of wireless keyboard and mice combo units (Logitech and Microsoft) with USB transievers, but haven't had any luck getting any to work with the G Tab. Anyone successfull with these, or should I just look into the bluetooth ones?

I just tried my Logitech S550 combo on it and no luck, however I'm currently using my Logitech Wii Keyboard just fine on it. I'm gonna look into bluetooth ones for portability though
I tried to use the Microsoft Arc on my GTablet running Zpad 1106 and it was a no-go. The Logitech wireless worked, but did not display the cursor on-screen.
Still no luck with a mouse
I have managed to get a couple of keyboards to work, one a standalone USB and the other a mini wireless with a built in trackball, but still no luck with a mouse. Even with a standalone USB mouse, nothing.
Oh well, I guess a keyboard is better than nothing.
Maybe I should try a bluetooth combo. Anyone had luck with a slightly modded stock ROM (only added the Flash and marketplace fixes) working with a bluetooth mous and keyboard?
I am looking for a wireless keyboard with touchpad on it has anyone seen 1 of these at a reasonable price?
wireless, bluetooth, or wired

I have a CDMA TouchPro and I just ordered a TV Out cable. I searched for bluetooth mouse input software and found BlueInput.
http://www.teksoftco.com/index.php?section=bluemouse
Its looks really awesome but I dont have my TV Out cable (yet) nor do I have a bluetooth mouse. I was wondering if anyone could confirm if this software works on the TouchPro and more specifically does it work while in TV Out mode? It has a 14 day trial so if anyone could try it and let me know so i can go buy a mouse that would be awesome!
I tried this with a Trust Mi-8700rp mouse on a touch pro and the mouse worked - although it sometimes left a trail of multiple cursors dotted on the screen. With an igo stowaway keyboard and video out cable it would almost be like using a PC.
awesome. I would assume that it works fine with video out. I guess Ill have to get a mouse and keyboard when I get my cable.

Hi guys, I'm debating on getting the Microsoft Arc Mouse for my Transformer... I use my TF a lot with Splashtop HD and other programs that are a lot easier with a mouse, plus I'm not a trackpad kind-of-guy.
I'm posing this question because I already have a Microsoft Wireless Mouse 3500 that works excellent with my Windows 7 PC, but once I plug in the nano transceiver into my EeePad, the mouse cursor can be moved, but every 2 seconds the mouse "jitters" and for about a a second the mouse doesn't move. So basically I can't use this mouse comfortably.
I just wanna make sure that the Arc Mouse doesn't have this problem. Thanks guys.
I can't say for sure since I don't own it myself but so far I have tried my wife's Wireless Mouse 3500 and my Wireless Mouse 6000 and have the same issue with the "jitters" every few seconds. However I have an older Wireless Mobile Mouse 3000 with jumbo stick adapter and it works with no problems at all. So my assumption would be that Microsoft has made some recent revisions to their HID code that doesn't jive well with Android 3.2. Hopefully someone who already has one can try it out and give us a concrete answer.
Eh, I guess it's too late. I ordered the Logitech M180, from what I've seen this one should work fairly well with the TF, and if not, it'll be returned and I'll try the Arc Mouse. I mainly wanted a small wireless mouse that could fit in this small front pouch of the netbook case I use for my TF.

Works great, just plug it in and your good. I like that the reciever doesn't stick out too much from the dock.

Aghhhh, thanks for the quick response, I may have to exchange my Logitech Mouse for the Arc now, it would fit so much better in my little case.

The Arc Touch? I too have that, and it gets the same lag as the 3500 does.
Do you all happen to be on the dock with a custom kernal? I have the dock, currently on the latest revolver; but I am uncertain if its a rom/kernal issue, dock issue, or microsoft/android issue
I use a Logitech Bluetooth V470 Cordless Laser Mouse, no software required it just works! UK price £34.99
Logitech US have a Tablet Mouse for Androidâ„¢ 3.1+ at $49.99 but both mice have the same part # so make your own conclusions

I think all of the usb receiver mice have lag, to some degree... but we are one step closer to the coolest thing since sliced bread. I guess my expectations aren't as high as others.. the OS is coming along and I expect it to improve over time, or over devices..
I am thinking of getting a Bluetooth keyboard, and maybe mouse for my galaxy s blaze. I know that it is very impractical, but I have a reason to get a keyboard and mouse for a device with a screen that big.
I have a few questions though. I have heard a lot about Bluetooth keyboard/mouses on tablets, and I haven't heard about them so much on phones. So will I be able to use them on my Galaxy S Blaze? Seconds I am wondering if it would be able to connect to both a keyboard and a mouse at the same time, or is it only capable of connecting to one Bluetooth device. And third I am wondering if any keyboard/mouse will work, and if there are any particularly good ones out there.
I am using CyanogenMod 10.0.0-t769 on my Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G.
I looked at threads for other phones with Bluetooth mouses/keyboards, but I found none for the Blaze.

I know for sure the BT keyboards will work with our phone, I have used a friend's mini BT keyboard he had for his ipad. As far as the mouse I haven't tried that in a few versions. I think the last time I tried a mouse was on GB and on my myTouch 4g. I was not a good experience. It was not a free moving mouse like you use on the computer but like the scrolling ball on the phones. It only went in the up/down and left/right positions. It might be different now but I'm not sure. I'm waiting on an OTG cable but it prolly wont be here for a few weeks (damn hong kong shippers) though they are cheap if you want to test them.

Ok, thanks, getting the mouse would really be pointless anyways because of the small screen. But you think any bluetooth keyboard would work? Would you recommend any particular one? Because I really don't have much experience with keyboards, I just always use the one on my laptop, and I wouldn't know what you really would want for a bluetooth keyboard.
You can go with something small like this: http://www.amazon.com/Fosmon-Blueto...965721&sr=1-15&keywords=4"+bluetooth+keyboard or go with one of those flexible roll up keyboards like this: http://www.amazon.com/Flexible-Wire...0&sr=1-9&keywords=flexible+bluetooth+keyboard
You can always get an OTG cable for like a dollar or two and hook a usb hub up and use a wireless keyboard/mouse combo too. I'm interested to mess with usb host with this phone. I just got a few flash drives I wanna play with.
Will this tablet work with wireless mouse and keyboard or an air mouse.? What Roms support this?
thanks
I use a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 and a USB receiver with my TF101, works with every ROM I have tried when using the keyboard dock.
I have a M$ Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 that works with most ROMs (all ICS, most all JB 4.1 ROMs and EOS 4 with the KatKernel 4.2 ROM). Same with my Apple MightyMouse!
Using a Bluetooth mouse you do not need the keyboard dock or any adapter.
As far as an Air Mouse, I guess one would need more details on which air mouse as a google search yields many results.

OK thanks I going to bite the bullet and buy one to use as and tv stick alternative.
For some odd reason my Bluetooth won't turn on anymore, so my controller is useless now.
I bought a xbox 360 gamepad to find out the device doesn't power it (and they won't even refund grrr). Could anyone who has a working WIRED controller share it's model? Just so I can buy one safely, knowing it'll work.
The Xbox gamepad stopped working with Lollipop for me. Used to work on Kitkat. So if you wanna go back...

Odd. It used to work for me. Is this an MS original or a third party controller you're using. Also, this is a wired controller right? Not a wireless connected with a charger cable because that won't work.

An original MS controller for xbox 360. The 4 circle leds would just keep blinking together.
never ever worked on my 8.4 tab s, wired proper 360 controller.
such a shame as there are some good games like raiden as well as the emu stuff.

I'm not talking specifically about 360 controllers though. I'm asking if there's ANY wired controller that is known to work with this tablet. ANY brand.
Before I got my wireless bluetooth controller I was using a Game Elements Recoil model GGE909 over a dirt cheep usb otg adaptor. I never could get my usb Xbox controller to work so I just fell back on an old cheep usb one I had and it worked great aside from taking up a usb port. My galaxy tab s is the 8.4 wifi model so I can't guarantee it will work but it probably should with your 10.5.
360 Controller never worked, if you get a powered OTG adaptor it might work. Lots of people talk about the MOGA controllers as bluetooth controllers that work well.

For usb controllers and usb otg I tend to find the ones that don't need special drivers or programs to run on windows tend to work the best.
The bluetooth controller I got is the gamestop red samurai v2. Nice layout, good buttons and triggers(not analouge though), well placed analouge sticks for the few android apps that support those, and great compatability. Overall I really like it and best of all gamestop is getting rid of tablet accessories so they are dirt cheep.

ah I assume thats over in the US and not available here in the UK :*(
how much is dirt cheap as I do have some friends over there and if its that cheap, might be worth having one sent.
I picked up my near console (unlike the ouya) grade controller for $7.97 U.S. No clue what they cost online, but most of the gamestops that still have tablet accessories are selling those accessories cheaply to reduce inventory that the company is moving away from.
