Theme Reccomendation? - Droid X Themes and Apps

I was just wondering what in your opinion is a good theme for RubiX Blurry 0.3? I'm looking for something with themed sliders and notification bar. Thanks

Well themes are more of a personal opinion type of thing. It just depends what you like. Also I suggest you check out the newest version of Blurry as well.

The Swype.apk edit: remove by mod
Reserved
Flashed this theme and it looks beautiful! Wondering if you can tell me what widget and skin you are using for the weather in the second screenshot. Also, do I need to remove my Swype before flashing yours? I flashed yours and it did nothing. Will this theme be evolving? I'm wondering about icons under the settings menu and such. Thanks again for putting your time into this!
Great theme.
getting force closes on browser though.
Thanks guys

I fixed the problem.
I backed up my bookmarks with mybackup pro.
Then I used Titanium backup to erase the browser data
I then restored my bookmarks, and all us good.
There must be something in the data structure causing problems.
Works fine now though.
Cool cheers henchman, I have removed the touchwiz package for now... If anyone wants to install touchwiz they can add it from the touchwiz thread and follow your instructions

Agreed bout the green. Some places yes..everywhere yowsers.
Love the red and its mixed in with other colored icons/white clock so its not over saturated everywhere.
Only change I would make is when you pull down the notification bar the bottom "tab" you drag down isnt visible enough.Could be more of the lighter part of the gradient.
Either way great work.
Im considering theming several of my favorite apps after seeing Rodrgz mods on them to match this theme.
Big thumbs up.

928 black glass deodexs your phone for you

http://www.928droid.com/DroidX.htm
Download over your stock or themed 2.3.15 and it will deodex everything for you. Doesn't mess with root or anything else like that. Just used it and works great also the 928 blackglass is a great theme. Been using it since I rooted.
You can install a diffrent theme after and it will still be deodexed

thank you
do you mind listen how/ where you put the zip to install??

I wish the deodex didn't come with the theme.

Use the 928 theme to deodexed then use his "Back to stock" theme
PS...Excellent Theme by the way
The back to stock didn't undo the twitter app mod.

Yeah, it leaves the twitter and facebook apps skinned. I had to delete those .apks from system/apps/, reboot, and reinstall them. No biggie though.

Can the color of the clock in the top right corner be changed? Black on black strains my old lady eyes
If you download the file "deodexer" the clock should he white

I am interested in deodexing through the 928 method. Can any one give me an idea on the black glass theme it comes with? Is it nice? What are the pros and cons of the actual theme?
Any info would be very much appreciated.

Overall I liked the theme (on my droidX) but found it to be a bit too "black".
Had trouble reading some notification items (weatherbug etc..) since it was black text on black dropdown.
Also was not too crazy about all the "droid eye" stuff on the dropdown etc..
But I REALLY liked the notification icons, power widget icons etc..
Wish he would make a toned down version of this for the X
I used his "back to stock deodexed" to get back to stock but keep the files deodexed then installed a different theme that I like better.
D.
Great, thanks for the info!

No offense man, but you are being really picky.
You should do some reading up on how to modify the things you want to change, it's not that difficult
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
Yeah I know how to change some of the stuff but when someone has it all done and perfect and better than I can do, this is what I do.
I am coming out with a black and white theme soon.
it won't say PuRe that is just on my phone.. liberty toolbox lets you change that
Ok I was just making sure because I installed a different theme a while back and it wouldnt let me change the text in the notification bar.

[REQUEST] Greyscale Gingerblur Theme For Stock

I actually like the look of the new leaked Gingerblur ROM but I wish the blue colors weren't so pronounced. I wish it were more neutral so it would match better with different backgrounds. I'd love a flashable .zip that still looks basically the same but in greyscale so that all the dark blues are dark greys (lock sliders, notification bar, sliders, etc.) for stock gingerbread ROM. To someone that knows how to theme it seems like it should be fairly straightforward since no images will have to be altered beyond being desaturated. Pretty please?
Well if its not much work then why are you asking someone else to do it.

I work with graphics and understand that desaturating the images would be very easy to do. I was only speaking about that aspect of it since I have no advanced knowledge of theming. I thought that was fairly clear from my original post but thanks for the bump at least.
Second the dark GB thoughts. Themes will certainly be out shortly with this incorporated. Wish I had the time to learn theming myself. I do gladly donate to those that create themes & roms.

[THEME] Simple Black and Blue Synergy Nightlies ICS[updated 9/7/12]

Here is a simple theme I have been making for myself and decided to share with you guys. It is very minimal as I don't like major themes. It Is black and Ics blue. It themes the systemui, framework, contacts, dialer, gallery, mms. I made the toggles in the pulldown a little smaller on the height to not waste space like they are stock and they are very slightly transparent, and the brightness slider is removed because I don't use it and think it wastes space also. The messaging app I used some of my sense 4 bubbles I had made from my rezound, The bubble colors can be changed in the app settings, and there are a few different backgrounds in there also. As always make a backup in recovery first in case you don't like or have problems. Just flash the zip in recovery.
Updated to r2 fixed the status bar clock so it is blue now, and themed the phone apk to match the dialer and contacts. Also adding in a flashable zip to add the brightness slider back in. Flash the theme first then the slider zip if you want the brightness slider. The brightness slider is the zip attached to the bottom of this post Pulldown_Bright just flash that after the theme.
Updated to R3 now. Has new dialer, dimed down the blue contact pictures a little for unknown contacts, fixed a few little things in the framework that weren't themed, and added a different bubble style to the 4th style in the app.
Updated to R4. No huge changes just new contact picture backgrounds, a few buttons here and there, and blue spinner in the framework, changed the bottom row icons on the dialer to white. And has the newer updated systemui thats in my other thread. Havent changed the screenshots yet so they dont reflect the changes.
Updated to R5. Some new icons here and there and I finally found the gray behind the ok and cancel buttons and the reboot menu. Added in the fading to blue instead of a hard line in some places. Added in seperate flashable to remove call recording so the phone apk stays themed, and as always the brightness slider for those who want it. Make sure you flash the full theme first. Updated all the screenshots also.
Update R6. Just a few small things in the framework, fixed the little line by the settings in the pulldown to be ics blue, and fixed when you touch your notifications in the pulldown its ics blue now instead of darker blue. Made all the divider lines in the settings blue also.

Any chance you can make a flash for an ICS blue clock qnd possibly make a flash for to enable the brightness slider? Trying to find an all-blue app that doesn't change to much about synergy and this caught my eye. Thanks either way!

I fixed the clock so it is blue now. I also added in a zip to put the brightness slider back for those that prefer it. I also themed the phone apk in the new version so that it matches the dialer, before if you were in a call the buttons didnt match.
Looks great. Thanks

You wouldnt happen to have a screenshot of those would you? I hate to download the whole rom just to see what they look like. I can make just about anything for the sms bubbles colors are easy and I can make about any shape or style they just take a little bit to make since they are draw 9 png's.

Yeah those bubbles are in the stock message apk I think just ugly colored. I may play around with them a little. Im kinda bored with the sense 4 bubbles since ive used them for a while before this phone. I may make the blue the same as the rest of the theme. Either way I will leave the way it is now and whatever I do as an addon probably, so people have options.
You guys should use the synergy secMMS.apk for your re theming. They tweaked it and fixed a lot of annoyances; namely the option to turn off the 'screen on every time a message is received feature'.
I hate using the stock MMS app for multiple reasons but its mainly the color and screen on when receiving a message. Just figured I'd throw it out there! Thanks!

It already uses there newest one with that option Its in the settings
So I'm not sure what I'd recommend for the dialer. I definitely like the white numbers better than blue, but the value outlines are rubbing me the wrong way. I'm not sure what I'd suggest though because no lines would look unfinished.
It is growing on me.
The pull down is awesome.

Yeah I feel the same on it lol. It looks weird without the outlines because its all black. I might try like a 50% transparent blue outline so it doesnt stand out as much. Or I could go ics blue solid keys, but that might be way to much lol. Or maybe just dark grey or something on the keys. Ill get something figured out, it took me like a week with the pulldown to get everything the way I like it.
I do agree with u as well!!!

Just wondering if the status bar is fully transparent and if it is could we get it a little less? I haven't installed yet but it looks like it could be hard to see certain things on it.
Will deff. use this when your set with everything!
Thanks for the theme. Looks good and works great!
I kinda of like where the dialer is headed. I prefer the ics blue, but it does look a little blocky. Not sure what to suggest. Maybe no outline, and color the buttons ics blue but with a gradient from transparent to blue? I dunno.
The only thing I could do without is the battery mod. I like one circle. 2 confuses me.
But I can live with it. Thanks again!

No the status bar is about the same as the stock synergy one on transparency. Then I changed it a little from the screenshots to where when you get notifications its darker transparent behind them. You can see the notifications pretty well. I dont like the solid black behind them to blocky for me or something. Its to where it looks good and you can see them well too.
