Could this froyo 2.2update be applied to my captivate? Anyone know?

I have a Samsung captivate GT-19088 and I wanted to put a ROM on it. If I try and put a Samsung Captivate I897 ROM on it is it going to brick my phone? Or does it not matter because they are both Captivates.

No idea, but what if you just backed up first then tried it? Or ask the developer of the ROM?

I am new to the forum. I rooted my phone and flashed the "Elite" rom which is working great but I can never get the 4G to work for any rom that i flash.
