Hi all..
I created one thread requesting for some help about my motorola backflip but looks like nobody is really interested in helping me .....or is it bcoz the phone is not listed here...
Again I know its my mistake that I rooted my phone but I wanted to restore my phone to factory settings I rooted the phone and then tried to do hard reset i get repeated force closes, please help me....i tried rsd lite no help....
try going on froyo 2.2 or eclair 2.1

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be many on XDA that own or develop for the Backflip. I work on one for my sister, and I can see why. However, people do own them and need support. I suggest trying the modmymobile forums- http://modmymobile.com/forums/406-motorola-backflip/
They seem to have a lot of support for the backflip there. I hate directing you away from XDA, but in the interest of helping you, that is the best place to go.
@silentheero is right, the best place to go is m3, they have j_r0dd and kz working on roms and a full forum for the backflip
A big help would be explaining to us the os version and method used to root your phone. I am familiar with super-1-click on htc and gingerbreak ok motorola, so if you used gingerbreak you should have options. Running it after the initial root process usually gives you the option to attempt to unroot the phone.

I am new at all of this and was trying to root my phone and put a new different rom on my phone but i wanted to make my own rom using different parts of different roms but i dont know how to go about starting can someone please help me????
I jus got my Samsung Fascinate last week and after researching about rooting it i did it and everything went well. I had a friend send me to this site to b able to get mods kernells and apps for my phone. Well finding mods and kernells was as easy as my palm was lol. Im wanting to figure out how to get the most functionality out of this device. If soomeone could steer me in the right direction of what mod and kernels and anything else i could nd that would b great. im runnin on 2.1 and i read in the beginners guide that a build number would have to match and that on my phone is EA28 . Sry its such a noob qeustion and thanks in advance.
p.s. is there a way to speed up the phone
hey guys, Im really sorry. I know people have probably answerd this question many times. but Ive searched for days tring to figure this out. i have an evo 3d that i root with the htc method. i am a nood to rooting and only know a few things. i still have a stock kernel with synergy rom. when i try to connect to wifi it jusst says error. and 4g doesnt scan. and also my camra it just shows a weird picture. i really hope someone can help. and im really sorry if this was already answerd. please help
Hi, my friend has this phone and she cant receive sms anymore, i told her i could fix it just by rooting it + installing new rom on it, but now im new to these thread so could anyone guide me to which rom is super stable and if i have anything else to flash like a kernel or something. THANKS!!

If this phone is stock, then SMS not working is probably due to apn/provider settings being wrong in Settings.
Brotip: Welcome to the friend zone. She wants you to fix her phone so she can sext/send n00ds to some meathead.
