[Q] Problem! DROID answering calls by itself! - General Questions and Answers

I hope this is the right place for this post. My MOTO DROID has suddenly begun to answer calls automatically . After approximately 4 rings, the phone connects to the call, on speaker-phone.
No new apps, or changes to settings. Very frustrating, and I cannot figure it out.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Any ideas or suggestions much appreciated!

MAJOR Speakerphone issue!

Please help! I've searched the forum with no luck.
Every time I place or answer a call, the call is not on speakerphone. However, about two seconds into the call, it automatically switches to speakerphone every time, starting yesterday, for no reason whatsoever.
Am I missing something? Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

[Q]Incoming Call Waiting Kills All Audio...UPDATE! "Viber" was the problem

Or is it just me?
While on a call, a incoming call renders all audio on both calls dead. Regardless if you answer, ignore or let go to VM, neither person can no longer hear any audio.
I have tried this in many different scenarios. I am using T-Mobile in the NYC area.
If anyone else is experiencing this, please respond.
UPDATE!!!!!
The "Viber" app I installed was the cause of the problem. Once I uninstalled it immediately fixed the problem.
me too.
Hi, I have the exact same problem. It is quite frustrating.
The only work around I have found so far is to go in to call settings -->additional settings and turn off call waiting. Which is also kind of annoying.
Does anyone have a more elegant solution? (like having the incoming call sound a beep instead of taking over my entire call and rendering the phone useless!)

[Q] Occasionally Can't Make Phone Calls. Requires Restart. How To Fix?

Hi everybody,
I have a dire issue that has been happening since I had my HTC Sensation 4G. I figured that the folks at XDA could point me in the right direction and give me some guidance.
There is a software issue with my phone where I cannot make a phone call. I'll dial a number or pick a contact to dial, and my phone will not ring.
10-15 seconds later, my Sensation exits out of the phone app without placing the phone call.
In order to regain the ability to make phone calls, I must restart the phone.
There is no pattern I have noticed, and the problem comes up randomly a few times a week.
This is a troubling issue because what if I need to make an emergency phone call?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

Spontaneous problem rise during outgoing/incoming calls

Hey guys!
I’m using Samsung SM-G920FD already 2 years abt. running updated Android 7.0.
Got a following problem, Whenever I’m intended to make an outgoing call trying to call a friend of mine, my phone refuses to do so. It starts the process of call but freeze on stage of dialing picture mode and no beep tone or nothing is going on afterwards, as If I or the subscriber is offline. Although, the network signal level is at high and no any indications of malfunctions by phone are being shown.
Thus, the only fix solution I found I immediately restart my phone and only then can make/receive calls.
What could be the reason of such behavior and how to fix this annoying problem.
Thanking in you advance and looking forward to hear your solutions soonest.
Regards,
kozav100
