I have a dentist appt today and when I get back i'll be updating this ROM to the latest ^>^ which is actually 23563 and not 23699, lol. WM 6.5.5 is a lot better imo than WM6.5.3..

love the new rom best i have see like the new lock bar. but i have been playing with it and i like the HTC Fackbook app better any way to switch them. How would i also take out myspace, twitula, and messenger to free up some space.

Go to My Device\\Program Files and delete what you don't want.
tryed program folders and delete twitter, myspace, messanger etc. doent delete it. trying to delete under the windows folder to and the delete is not opinional. its cooked into the rom and i cant get it out i guess. also was trying to take off the ringer tones on the phone and the delete is not opitional. and was playing around with it more at work were the camera app.

After you delete what you want from the program files, go to My Device\\Windows\\Start Menu\\Programs and delete what you want from there.

As much as I love to see new roms appearing on the site and beeing very curious to test all of em. We learned from the past that we would like to know what is actually new or improved in these so called roms (aspecialy the PDAVIET) If it is just 2 new folders with a better flashy icon than most of us don't bother updating.
So when you post a new cook, built or whatever, can you please be a little more specific?

Tried this image. Works fine, no bugs so far (although my GSM stack is dead on my M5000, so I can't test call-related stuff).
Base install (which puts a lot on there) gives me:
Storage:
- Total: 43.50 MB, In Use: 4.38 MB, Free: 39.12 MB
Program:
- Total: 48.88 MB, In Use: 20.45 MB, Free: 28.43 MB
(Only thing running is ActiveSync in the background on the phone, as by default).
Version-wise,

ROM version: 2.10.05 PV
ROM date: 04/16/07
Edit: grrr, listed the entire set of programs/utils etc, but the forum didn't post it. Oh well.
There are a few sloppily removed programs on here, namely Terminal Services Client, ClearVue PDF (has been replaced with Adobe Reader LE, but icon not removed), Help, Java and PVPlayer.
The PocketSecure installed is an expired demo and will not run.
The 'Microsoft Reader' is not activated.
There's a program called 'Eye On Privacy' installed which requests a password. The password is not provided, and all tested entries are invalid.
You may also want to play 'Spot the ROM-makers URL' which seems to pop up in various places (device information, etc )
All in all I'd say that this is not a very good ROM - it should have been polished far more before release!

"Not Working" is as it should be when the demo has expired!

This ROM is based in original build HTC WWE 1.56.405.5 (5.2.1620 OS) and does not include radio.
Is compatible with the radio 1.27.12.09, 1.27.12.11, 1.27.12.17, 1.27.12.32 and 1.27.15.32.
First must be flashing HardSPL here
After unzip the file that you will download must run from your desktop PC the KaiserCustomRUU.exe with your device synchronizing and the battery above the 50%. Follow the instructions on the screen.
The ROM is fast, stable with some registry tweaks (spb benchmark in next post), includes the absolutely essential files and it is recommended in experienced users that easily can take the programs that they wish.
The device starting with 72 mb free memory for programs and 148,5 from 151,5 mb for storage.
After first boot, in the end of customisation, do a soft reset. In System Settings open WOW HD Settings, put in SRS TrueBass Speaker ---> Size 400Mz, put in WOW HD Settings ---> Normal.

Ok, so I installed your ROM in the morning, filled it with all my programs to see how it would behave.
Booting is ultra fast and everything still runs smooth even tho I installed something like 50Mb of programs on the phone's memory.
Tried a movie aswell, 1hour and a half of a DVDRiP running at 640*360, XViD(890Kpbs) and MP3 (130Kbps).
I had flashlite running on the background from my cube, and the movie only messed around once at the 4minute mark, and never again, saw it flawlessly. Used TCPMP v0.81.
Overall it feels very nice, fast and stable, great job here man, keep it up.
As a side note, you could probably consider removing Voice Speed Dial and Office, for it to be even smoother.

bug report: can not open music player from htc home, seems battery go fast.
HTC Audio Manager not included in this light ROM. You can use Home customiser to change the selection of Home plugin to windows media player, also you can install Audio Manager.
the phone is running whole day, and seems fine. rom is fast and stable. one thing bothering me is I try to hide sim contacts with registry edit, but it come back after soft reset, anyway to fix it?

I think this is not my problem, but basic HTC ROM problem.

Good points! the large titlebar will be an optional addon for the user to install. I am currently working on a fix for the keboard as well... there HAS to be someway to fix it.
But in the meantime, i am taking a break until this evening. I am exhausted, and it is too pretty to be inside!. I need some fresh air haha..... ill talk to everyone tonight.

Stable and fast. After SR over 30 MB free RAM. After 4 hours of settings, installing etc I have over 25MB free RAM
WiFi not working.
Solution: Just make shortcut of WiFiInit.exe (windows folder) and put them in Windows\StartUp folder. SoftReset or start WiFiInit.exe.

So far I've experienced wifi problem only. I have no problem changing Theme(tried all included and changing fine).
Free Ram(28mb) is excellent.
I'll let you know if i find any bugs.

no, after SoftReset is circ. 30,4 MB free. Hibernate is required for using 6.5 ROM.
I sold a wizard, he was ruined, but I'm looking for another good G3.

Hi Hamerr10,
Could you please keep with CHome and fix the minor issues with latest build. Leave the camera too pls. If anyone need different Input,dialer,M2D or titanium it can always be installed for their need. it is hard to come by a build that has more mem.

Click HERE to download the WMP Skin that matches the theme I have set up for these ROMs. The dialer, the Comm Manager and the WMP will all have the same style with this.
Just extract this to a folder and put it in your SD card. Then go to your Windows Media Player. When in your media player make sure to hit the back button to go to the player. Then go to Menu and then select Options. Then scroll over to the skin tab and choose the skin you just installed. Then put the phone into landscape mode and select the skin again and press OK.

everything works great but the contacts wont show up. I've tried everything but it wont show the contacts but when they call the name and number shows up. If you could help that would be great.
ok i got it.. now how can i make the text and the img smaller.. when you tap on wifi.. its alittle big for my wing.
ps the batt, does not show a time or any thing just all green.. i will post other thing if i see any thing odd..
1) you can't shutdown phone.. as well.. i will look for a other one soon

What do you mean? I'm using C800 and the contact is ok. I think u should re-update this ROM again.
Man, it's been a while since I've seen my own work, lol.
This was by far my most favorite ROM for my old HTC Tmo Wing.
Makes me sad to think I can never update my ROMs anymore now that Windows Mobile doesn't get updated via M$ anymore.
If I ever see an update down the line I will do my best to keep you all updated as well.

If you're HardSpl'd, you'll be fine.
Also, The device won't power down because it's Windows Mobile Embedded 6.5.5 - the latest Micro$ has offered.

Sup. It looks like your megaupload link for your SYS and ZIP files are down. Hopefully you have another copy somewhere. It would really suck to lose the sources for the best ROM on this phone (even if development is now in the doldrums). I am making an archive of XDA's work on their namesake phones, so it would really help me out.
