I noticed that live video streaming doesn't work like on the stock rom or maybe its just my phone. All that happens is it will go to the page but not show the live streaming window, its just blank. I flashed back to the froyo stock rooted ROM and it works fine, can anyone explain why? Thanks!

Aside from YouTube clips I've been trying to find sites where I can watch old TV shows since Hulu and Netflix don't work. I'm not very adventurous so I have the stock build though I did use the Market Update procedure I learned here to get Market now running (thanks to all of you dedicated guys who teach us about these great features And at this point I've spent hours customizing the apps and desktop to just the way I want them so I'm even less inclined to flash the GTab.
Am interested in learning of any sites or apps that you run to watch shows or movies on the stock build. I really hope Netflix comes out with Android support real soon.
Any advice appreciated. Thanks much.

I have found that NBC.com works using the stock browser and the flash beta linked on viewsonics gtablet site. Does not work with Dolphin HD or Opera for some reason. I have noticed that flash in general always seems to work best in the stock browser. Though the NBC video is kind of jerky the audio is good....could just be my connection...it is watchable though!

Could you please tell the class what rom you are using, and if there was a hack you needed to preform to make fancast work?
If you did apply a hack do you have a link to its instructions.

I've installed the KB5Deodexv15 rom
flash videos worked fine, flash plugin would allow me to watch videos and stuff like that
Now I am not sure what program I installed recently that is now making Adobe Flash Player work and after that it crashes ( I see an icon instead of the video)
Does anybody knows what can cause that?

Back track.. Remove all apps and test to find out which app is causing the crash.

I went to
Privacy -> Factory Data Reset
Reset Phone -> Erase Everything
then I went to a web page that has an video in FLV
Flash player collapsed and I saw the icon
Move to v1.9

my youtube app is loading videos up but it takes TOOOOOO LONG!!! sometimes it wont even load it up itll just say error
this happened like a month
i was eb 2.3.5 v2.3 ( something like that but the data was fast on this rom) now im on miui and data is working fine for everything else like browsing or widgets etc.
now even on wifi or not my youtube videos wont even load up
the thumbnail and comments and everything else besides the video loads up fine
but now idk what to do

Update your flash player, uninstall youtube app and re-install.

Mine plays fine just watched a few videos in HQ on cellular data, and tried on wi-fi no issues here...

This really pisses me off. I watch YouTube like all the time. I have a G2 and that has no problems.
G2x just has issues and this YouTube debacle is like the final insult. Browser has stopped forced close on 174 but was forced to stop browser. Its is only two.issues affecting cm 2.3.7
Switched back to nightlies
also Netflix stopped working so went to a backup. No video just audio
miui is a cyan base rom
and the browser version works ok but the youtube app is giving loading issues
so y u just open youtube from browser?easy and same as youtube app
or u can uncheck option that force u to use mobile site
so u can open youtube as desktop site
much better really couse u have all feature of desktop site

Try using the latest cm nightly.
it's the rom.... i also had the issue and i still do even with EB 2.3.5 and as well as the cm7 stabled Gb version.... not only with the youtube app but on some of the websites had flash issues where videos were just green lines. so i switched back to EB 2.3.3 stock Gb version. Devs are working as to finding out the problem but still no luck.
I tried the latest nightly 174 and loaded videos instantly this morning.
Will keep trying the Nightly ROMs. Will report back if I encounter the issue again.
Prefer the Youtube app, just faster.

I am having these two issues first I noticed that phone is no more recognized by windows as usb and now this youtube issue of CM stable 7.1 , I was really liking this CM. If someone is there reading these and can help please help.

Youtube Slow issue found
What I did I uninstalled both adobe flash player and youtube app and using dolphin web browser for youtube. I tried all those videos again through dolphin and got the instant response on my almost 2mega Byte connection. So, I guess I have to live without youtube app.

ya i just started to pretty much use the browser for youtube but i really like the youtube app smh please work again
Works fine for me now with nightly 174. No longer delays video play with YouTube app.

Well I recently switched from LG Stock Rom to CM7.1 stable on my P990, and have the same issue. I'm glad that its not just me having slow loading of YouTube videos on the phone. Thanks for sharing the information that the nightly build of CM might help solve the issue. How many others have been successful with that build?
I can confirm that recent nightly builds are no longer causing slow loading of videos in YouTube app. I installed CM7.1 #204

Using Hellfire ics, stock browser and dolphin do not let me play flash videos for some reason, I can hear audio, though.
Boat browser lets me play flash but keeps crashing whenever I rotate the screen.

I've noticed this problem in Opera too.
If you are using YouTube, you must play in high quality, otherwise the video playback won't work properly.
Kind of inconvenient, but ics is still new for us.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas why? I have checked my network and they work fine from my laptop and another tablet running stock 4.1.2. On my tablet, the videos just show a broken link and if i click one it says it can't load the page.
