I restored setting to default setting, non SMS Mode installed like Chomp SMS... anyone know a fix for this i can receive MMS but can't send
^_^ finally was able to search the formus without getting an error message and i found my fix

Are there any system, application or activity logs available for G1's with root access?
I'm having problems sending MMS, they all just go to the "could not send" list, and I really would like to know what keeps the messages from being sent. Are there any logs I can look at to start digging for clues? Any 'debug' mode or similar?

My g1 tells me mms does not send and it resends them everytime auto. The prob is, it says doesnt send but the recipient gets it. So they get a lot of mms off me
I also have problem to send MMS I can recive but not send
Since rooting my phone, I uninstalled the pre loaded messaging and replaced it with handcent sms so I could then group text.
But I cannot send or receive MMS ?
Can someone plz advise me of an app which can receive mms as a standalone or an app which will allow me to group text sms and send/receive MMS.

hi. i used the universal anderoot app to root my x10. 1st time of trying to send mms and won't work. it appears to try and send and if i left it it would prob go on forever. unrooted phone and still does't work. i have installed handsent but never unstalled original messsging. so if anyone can help that would be great.
For some reason since day one I cannot send or receive MMS messages. I am running fully stock. When I send the message says sending and wont send, and when I receive one it shows downloading and will not download.
Can anyone suggest a fix for this?
I searched around and i found a similair post on reddit about this. The only way to fix is with a factory reset in settings. I did this and sure enough my mms worked.
Does anyone know how to remove the call back number on every single sms message I receive? Even if the person has it turned off on their phone it still shows up on mine when they send me a message. I would just use another messaging app because that fixes the problem but then I can send mms messages. I'm on a local carrier and can't find the settings to put in to fix this either. Any help is appreciated thanks.

Ok, so I dowloaded Textra & SMS messages from petal search. Both apps work perfect with SMS, but when you try sending MMS it fails. I tried manually setting MMS in textra but still did not work. Anyone experience this? or know how to fix? Thanks
