I was posting to get help with my reboot problem so I used the search function and found a post that seemed similar to my problem. I posted and asked for help. the next day the entire thread was moved i'm guessing because the original poster put it in the wrong section. But I still need help on this issue should I start a new thread in the correct section or get an admin to move the post?
here is the thread.

Never mind i'll post my problem later in the correct place once I am able to recreate the bug.
Why did you bother to say all that...just ask your question here, and change your thread title to "Reboot help needed"
As this thread sits right now, it is a forum question post about thread semantics, and I am guessing it will get moved too unless you change the title to reflect your issue rather than whining about the mods moving stuff around.
I'm an experienced user, i've been using roms on my old 32A Magic phone for a while never had to ask stuff really, but now I have a problem with the new CM7.2 ROM and I really wanted to ask something in the proper thread but since I didn't have the previleges I have to open a thread and post stuff to reach to minimum number of posts. Sorry for inconvinience dear mods.
can post now a lot of posts?
just to reach the 10 min? Hope so. Don't wanna spam but I really need this issue resolved/answered.
any mods there??? please answer
First off, starting threads to complain about the 10 post rule is just silly. The mods will most likely delete it and you'll be back to 0.
Secondly, if you have a question then just search the Q&A forum for your device, and if it's not already asked then start a thread there.
Personally, I hate people asking questions about ROMs and the like outside of the original dev thread. I think the 10 post rule should only apply to creating threads in the dev forums, not posting.
But I digest.
As I said - the Q&A forum is apparently the correct place for this.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A

can you please provide me with a link to the Q&A thread? I searched Q&A Magic and it didnt come up with any thread other than the developers, on wich I cant post yet. Thanks guys.

Wow - there's no Q&A forum. How bizarre!
Anyway, search and (if needed) create a thread in the general forum instead...

I agree..it's pain in the arse..i understand the reasoning but when you've worked in IT or have some semblance of knowledge it's very frustrating and makes no sense when it's a comment about a thread it should be within the thread...i shouldn't have to jump thru hoops first to show that i can post...it surely can't be worse than some of the other crap i've seen people posting..esp when it's already been answered earlier in the thread...that's just lasy...or dare i say it..stupid
So I've got a question, and I hope this is the right forum. I have an HTC Thunderbolt and I use Instagram. A friend that has an iPhone told me about an app called InstaDM. I did some digging and found an .apk on the web, but it's from a site that I don't know how I feel about it.
I was not able to post a link, but the name of the site is WebPicture.
Is there a way to test out the integrity of an .apk file before installing it to see what kind of stuff it may be doing in the background? If you tell me to delete the .apk and not install it, I have no issue with that, but I thought I would at least ask before moving forward.
Thanks.

Moving to Q&A
A little ask of OPs of Q&A threads referencing something in Development -- In the lead post, would you put a link to the ROM/kernel/app thread in the Development section?
Often I find out about something I might want to flash from the Q&A thread. It would be nice to be able to just click and go there. Even people already using whatever the thread is about could more easily get updated versions, for example.
Good idea....

No one knows it?
Please read other threads BEFORE you start a new thread with the same topic for the same device!
There's been a thread posted it before, please do search before posting another thread.
