ya I know....but the app is not even listed on their website http://apps.atomicpineapple.com/
Maybe you can request someone to post the .apk if they have it (since its a paid app, you will have to search it elsewhere i guess.. )
yes please that would be fantastic, if someone could please post the apk
anyone?? ive been scouring the internet looking for the APK and its nowhere to be found. SOMEONES gotta still have it, or at least a backup of the APK on their sdcard.
im not sure if teh project is totally dead, so the servers could be completely down anyway, i just still want the APK to check it out and/or to have
http://goo.gl/8m1DL does that help?
bless your heart sir

I saw in a former Post here d3sm0nd had started that a Skype Application was available to Android, but only for Verizon Customers. He later stated that we could use Market Enabler to change the values and allow us to use Verizon Market. How is this possible and can somebody help me. I always thought it was cool to get Verizon Applications, so can anybody help?
Here is the original thread;

Hi guys... As you can see in this article:
http://www.engadget.com/2010/03/25/skype-mobile-for-verizon-on-android-hands-on-with-wifi-off/
Skype has been released... BUT FOR VERIZON CUSTOMERS ONLY!
But don't worry.. there is a way to get it, just download Market Enabler and set a custom value "310012" < for Verizon.
Then you will be able to download Skype Mobile but if you start it you are going to get the message "Sorry Skype couldn't detect your phone number" and will quit...
I'm sure there is a way to bypass this too... the question is how ?

If I've already uploaded an app to the Market, is it alright to post the apk here and not have to worry about people stealing it or ripping the code and making their own version of it?
Even your market version can be ripped and stolen. Its best to upload to mrket first. That way u have the name preserved.

It can happen. I don't know of any ways to prevent it, but here's a thread for reference with some tips:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=900923
^ Yeah I saw the Davinci thread, that's what made me worried about posting it. I already published it and it's already on Androlib etc so they can't steal the package name, but I spent a lot of time on the code and don't want someone to be able to extract it and create a ripoff version of my game.
If someone downloads it from the Market, can they extract the code and edit it to create their own version of the app, or is it locked somehow?
bumpppppppp
If you post it on the market, here, or anywhere else your code is out in the open. But android is supposed to be open source anyway.

That's android. Not his app.
Any android APK can decompiled easyly smali or Java code but so is any application on internet, there's a way you can make it hard to decompile, like use ".so" library file for all the code u wanna hide.

Hmm, so if I've already posted it in the Market, would posting the apk here basically be the same thing, and I wouldn't be hurting myself? I just want to make sure I'm not making it any easier for thieves/scammers.
In all honesty you're not gonna make it easier or harder for theives. If they want it they will do what they can to get it. Unfortunately most creations have been thought of before and made before. Even if things are slightly changed.
You got your app out there man. Just see how well it does and maybe implement the hints given
Yip, if people want to get to your code, they will, its pretty easy to nab the apk from a device once installed.
You can use this app to search and download All Mediafire files which are indexed and are available publicly through the web.
In simple terms u can search and download anything hosted on Mediafire.
market://details?id=com.arv.mediafyre
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.arv.mediafyre
If u like it please rate and share it with your friends.
Any problems? suggestions, u can post it here or contact me via pm or through market.
EDIT: Sorry guys mediafire practically has no files left to search, So no point in re-uploading another version.
Edit: Mediafire has deleted most of the files, so this app is no more.
Well I thought it was great.....
Regards
Well thx.. Its easier for me to search now. And its almost the same as 4shared
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA Premium App
This actually makes things easier. Thanks for that one
Worked fine for me, did just what it's supposed to. 5/5
I'll give it a shot. I choose mediafire over most file sharing site anyway.

Works great dude! Just downloaded it and I think I'll be using it a lot here in the next week.....THANKS again!!
Thanks guys that's all i needed to hear although i have a question
Should i add 4shared results to the search too or just leave the app the way it is.
Its good as it is but if you did add 4shared results try to limit it to 1 or the other. I wouldn't want to get 4shared results in my mediafire search
I can't download properly from mediafire from the start, with my phone. Always download a few kb and "download complete". Anyone had this problem?
Anyway the app works snappy, saves time in the searching. Good app.

I think you are right I'll probably do another app for 4shared, the one they have right now is pretty much their site in browser but again mine is not too different either.

well the only thing i can say from your comment is maybe your browser is not handling the request properly, u didn't say which phone u have either so I cant really make out anything off it but its guaranteed that if u try another rom or if u reinstall your existing Rom the problem sud go away. If u don't want to do that u sud probably post Ur logcat here. maybe something in there will give me or u a clue about whats going on or what's the problem.
And don't forget to rate the app
This app will ocme in handy. Thankls!
@consegregate Hey i just experienced this problem where i wasn't able to download a big file, turns out it was a just due to lack of memory, it was a common mistake a lot of other people were making too, So u should check that just in case.
@Rigy73 -- could you update the link in your OP, it no longer goes to your app. This one should work: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arv.mediafyre

hey great app.. thanks for that.. but i found a big problem.. it doesnt show file size before starting download in search results.. then when the download starts.. it doesnt give option to cancel it.. also it would be nice to be able to resume download.. as mediafire allows it..

Agree with this...
also there is no option to login to my own profile to check my own file
it should be usefull app
By clicking link from browser is this redirects to the apps? The link in op no longer valid.
link say: not found
Sure, this app allowed you to download songs for free... but it was still a cool interface & a nice quick way to load up a track(especially old hard-to-find ones). I just had the .apk installed last night but loaded a new rom today & then saw it was gone.
Sadly, this was an .apk I didnt keep a backup of on my pc otherwise i'd try installing it again now. Anyone else used it?
Was it the official Last.fm app? If that's the case, I'm still seeing it. Humm.
Market Link.
I followed your link to the market and it seems working fine for me but there are many disappointing comments about its use in my country (Greece) even if you are a premium user... The link is active though

Indeed... I can also view the market link so we can safely assume that the app itself, wasn't actually removed. Also, Greek users are very disappointed by it because one cannot listen to music from his phone even if he/she is a premium user, as dimnik83 stated... which is in fact strange. English, German and American users, seem to be enjoying the use of this app to its fullest but us Greeks... well that's a different story... sadly. That aside, Last.fm is still up and running on the market.

im not talking about the official app. it was another app that was entitled Last.FM Free.
if you do a google search for " last.fm free " it shows up on the search results(7th link), but when you click it it's gone.
even whozzaat free message to india apps is deleted from the market..
how do we get them ?..
Same case ... searching for "Last.FM Free Version 3.1.1" NOT the official Last.FM Apk.
Could someone upload the file here?
It is removed from the Android Market. That would be great ! Thanks in advance.

Here's a link to the latest 3.1.1 if you want it:

Sounds like the official version will be discontinued soon as well:
http://www.talkandroid.com/29634-last-fm-will-no-longer-allow-free-streaming-to-mobile-devices/
Apparently its not cost effective on Android but its fine on Xbox Live and Windows Phone 7. I find that kind of odd since Android has a lot higher user base than Windows Phone. But I bet Microsoft made a deal with them.

I emailed the developer of this app cos I had it on a phone from 2010, even though I couldn't directly view detail for the app, the developer name was right underneath it.
Developer: Danik
Actual application download:
music free android dot com
I JUST joined this site, just to give you specifically that information after googling last.FM free this link was first.
It won't let me post the actual link.
You are ultra mega welcome!!!
