Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App

I was looking for 1x1, 2x1, 3x1 and 4x1 options, strangely only the opposite are there.

Yes, but it still won't allow 2x1, 3x1 and so on, so I have to add multiple 1x1, but I don't know if multiple 1x1 don't take more resources than single 4x1?
Sent from Desire Z

Thank you very much, this app is so usefull.. love it!

Funny, why at all is it not allowing portrait 4x1 widget?

Hi
Nice widget!! Good work!
One question: Is there a possibility to change the icons of the chosen programs within the widget? That way I could customize the look of every icon.
Thanks in advance for your reply.
Ascenca

Installed 15 minutes ago. Don't know how I did without it!
Wish I could disable workspaces in Sense now, as two have become superfluous.

Hey... Nice app...
But I don´t want to have 4*4 but besides don´t want to have 8*8... I want to have 6*6 on my screen... can you make that? Maybe in the next release of Multicon? Would be so nice...

Not really...but I like having more space on the homescreen...Density cuts the text on the ICON so this app remedies that problem...
EDIT:
Is there a way to change stock icons for wifi/airplane/brightness/etc toggles? Thanks again for this great apps. I love it.

Thanks for the info !!
Can we add shortcuts for folders or may be in next version ?

Excellent app. Thank you very much.
Only request I would have is for more horizontal configurations by "default" (instead of stinging along a bunch of 1x1). Anyhow, very nice app, freed up a ton of space and improved the appearance of my home screens.

I agree with the horizontal configuration. One other thing I think would be nice is if the icon you select would highlight like the regular icons.

To "" - Awesome application. Everything is OK, but.. Can add icons automaticly, not one by one? I have more than 100 little icons on just one screen, and add every one of them is much time eating Samo function, that add all installed applications would be very high rated.

I believe the message here is that if you have Home++, then screenshots come out clear on the n1; as opposed to the garble we are all seeing.

I dont think you can have home ++ as the only theme. It runs on top of your default theme. If I was you I would root your phone and edit the default theme so you dont slow down your phone with a addon like home++, ahome and open home.

Actually home++ makes my nexus a lot snappier.. and the scrolling is a lot more smooth. I'm just worried that having one theme on top of the default theme will drain battery faster.
my screens
Started out with all 7 screens, now down to 3.
Organized the screens as: 1) web/games/media, 2) main/phone/camera/frequent apps, 3) system/control
The Big icons with the glass borders are "launcher dock" widgets, each holds 8 shortcuts. The battery widget is "vizBattery". The volume control widget is "Audio Manager"
I know the the weather widgets look ugly and I the launcher dock icons are too large. (need to try another icon pack)

Yes mate - it's native functionality, so you don't need a cab or 3rd party app.
Go to the settings tab, menu, all settings, clock & alarms, more (tab).
There's an option in there to display the clock in the title bar in all apps.
Hope that helps
Thanks for the replies
Never knew about the built in clock feature but that gives the problem that you can't see the battery, which is kinda annoying cause there's plenty of room for them both!

The BattClock can do all at one time!
You can additionally add the date/free memory in a third row, give various colors for battery states and so on...

Transparent?
I was thinking... can you make it transparent in edges? or something.. Its not a problem when you use the phone, but if you lock it(turn off the screen) and open it again(in lock mode) you can see the edges of it.. a bit sad but anyway nice app!
Use the config (icon in main start menu) and use X (horisontal) Y (vertical) to move it
..
well its not it... THe background when you are in the start menu and such, is going up to the screen edge, not to the edge where the clock, battert etc are.
Not sure if I know what you're talking about or if you even made a try, it works fine here and does not overlay anything after I moved it using the config.
This is such a great thing, not turning back now.

Okay, that's working well... but I use DJC Taskbar Leo 6.5 with this very nice round battery icon... and I would like to have both - battery + clock, but this battery icon + clock... any ideas?
Are there any alternatives to using Battclock and Dutty's taskbar mods? I don't like how battclock has a background that masks over the stock icons, and has to adjust to the changing colors. I also don't want the icons sets used in Dutty's mod. I just want to see stock batt icon and stock clock in the taskbar. Like this:

Is it possible to add this mod to stock ROM? Or is it only availible for custom ROMs?
There seems to be no way to put both clock and battery unless you flash a ROM so can someone please make a toggle switch instead for clock and battery? It will be useful to have clock when using apps and you know you have a charged battery. It is just too many clicks to get to the Clock settings if you want it to show.

If you have the device held horizontally its going to do that. If that is what you are talking about. Not a glitch.
I like the RAB and LAB buttons. Very useful.
I have the LAB as Phone (to make calls) and RAB as a folder.
The problem is I cannot add/remove apps from the folder.
I initially created the folder on the desktop, added about 10 apps to it then dragged it to the RAB. Excellent. I have access to those 10 apps almost 90% of the time.
Problem is I cannot add a new app shortcut to that folder.
Is there a way to undock/shift the folder from RAB back to desktop to add app shortcuts then back to RAB?
Because I tried adding an app shortcut to the folder by dragging it from desktop to RAB but that app got registered as the bew RAB and I lost the folder. Had to redo it all over.
otherwise its great.
thanks
this any different from ADW.Launcher in market?

[New CHT2.0 Widget][Barcode Clock Widget]

Hi XDA Family,
Based on Poyensa's Widgets and with the help of Poyensa I've made this CHT2.0 Barcode Clock Widget (the fifth one of many I hope to make) and I'd like to share it with you guys in this great family that still believing in WinMo.
{

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The Barcode Clock Widget shows the Time and Date in barcode format. the Barcode Clock is a Standalone widget so it should be compatible with any other CHT widget and fully CHTS integration, it is resizable, pinnable, uninstalable, and includes a setting menu (Credit and BIG Thanks to "El Maestro" Poyensa), by pressing on it you get access to a pop-up menu, where you can make quick setting changes like horizontal/vertical position, text color, text size, text x/y position, etc.
Installation:
Install JMLMenuSense.v1.60.cab (or higher). If you have installed JMLMenuSense previously no need to install it again.
Install the attached CHT2.0 JdplaBarcode Clock Widget .cab in device and soft reset.
CHT Menu> edit mode> add widget > Barcode Clock Widget.
Maybe you wont see anything, dont worry...just click OK and then touch the upper-left side of the screen and the setting pop-up will open...then adjust as you taste...Very Important, the font are: for Time, \windows\JdplaTimeFont.ttf and for Date, \windows\JdplaDateFont.ttf
Enjoy!
Uninstall:
CHT Menu> edit mode> add Widget > Barcode Clock Widget > Unchek (Dissable the widget).
Setting > Application > Remove programs > select [email protected] JdplaBarcode Clock > click Remove > Soft reset device.
Disclaimer:
Manila/Sense on many (cooked and stock) ROMs with many versions is sometimes very fragile, So you install this on your own risk, bla, bla, bla ...Please, make a backup before installing!
I have tested the widget in my HTC HD2 and it works fine, I hope it works well on yours too.
Feedback is much appreciated.
Credits & thanks:
Credits must go to Poyensa who made the widget menu setting .xmu and for his great thread "HOW TO MAKE A CHT WIDGET" and all his help, Gracias Maestro.
Big Thanks to Co0kieMonster, MichelDiamond, CHT2.0.Team, Dream Team & JMHL JMLMenuSense.
Enjoy

I spent hours (literally) poking away at Adwlauncher EX and this is what I came up with. Compared to what it used to be (first post) I like being able to use more of the screen and force widgets to be the way I want...but still not sure about the smaller icons. No way to have the exact same icons in Adw?
I would very much like for this thread to survive like similar threads have on other subforums, so I guess I'll try to breath some life into it once again.
I ended up going portrait only for my homescreen and like it:

Here's mine:
Screen 1, Home:
I set quick launcher on the droid logo:
Screen 2, Work:
Screen 3, Reading another circle launcher on the book holder:
Screen 4, Media, launcher on the ipod center button
Screen 5, Games, Circle launcher again on pointed lines
thats it, well atleast until i've getting bored and start build another one...
What launcher and what's the notebook thing in the third pic?
sorry, i forget to tell the ingredient:
-adw launcher 1.3.3.1
-palmary weather
-circle launcher
-desktop visualizer
-minimalistic text
-multilive wallpaper
the notebook is a picture i found on google and photoshop it lil bit, as for the application shortcut on the left page, i use desktop visualizer with exported pen memo drawing for the icon...
Is being able to customize the top toolbar with shortcut to apps etc only in normal adw or have I missed it in adw launcher ex?
Im sorry i dont understand your question...
afaik the top toolbar is uncostumizeable, as for the screen icon on the left I use laucher action shortcut and yes perhaps it's only available on the adw launcher ex version
Seems to be a difference between ADW launcher EX versions then. On mine, which is the latest, it seems there's only the drop-down menu button and no way to change it
That home screen is really cool dewadewi. Thanks for some cool ideas, I was hoping for a new kind of homescreen setup other than the common android/honeycomb one. I like the launchers.
