[THEME] [PORTS] GalaS - ENOM 2.14.4 V2

Hi All,
Im happy to release an update to a port of 1 of my favorite themes. This is a port of Haxzmatics Gala S theme 0.4 for Enomthers 2.14.4 standard ROM, as this is my ROM of choice right now.
I have also included my favorite font Comfortaa, a MIUI themed version of Fancy Widget and the XTG theme for LauncherPro Plus that both go well with the Gala S theme.
Lastly I have included my own theme for the dialer. I had some issues with haxzamatics dialer and I believe mine should work better.

Disclaimer: As with everything on here, you apply these updates totally at your own risk; Alway nandroid before applying.
To update font colour on the top bar and menu, go to Spare Parts, then scroll to Status Bar Options, Status Bar Colors, Set All Colours and then from there you can set any colour you wish.

can you specify exactly what you altered from the already themed app?
I'm pretty happy with the current setup but I do love the Gala S look. I had it running on RC2 via the ADW theme options. Please reply with some details.

This theme is to be applied to the manup themed version as the stock version does not include the black bar. If you are using stock you could first flash the manup themed version then my updates and it should fix your problem.

Would it be possible to get the font from the Drop theme so you could flash from recovery?
Love the theme but would love the font alone as well

But your dialer is different than Haxzamatic's. Anyway, I've done a mix of your contact.apk, Haxzamatic's, and then I colored in some more of the status bar icons like the blue battery.

Right, that was the older version for 2.10.2 i think. It included a diff keyboard that I ported from somewhere else. Cant remember at the moment. The latest port includes Haxzamatics keyboard. Anyways, glad it worked out for you.

This is why Enomther didnt include Camera in his theme template

Which theme; Drop or GalaS?
In both I simply changed the Maps icon. So im not sure what could be causing the FC's. Are you both using the latest version?

The GalaS theme. And yes I used the latest version. It would FC when going into Layers for example.

Theme looks good. I decompiled rosie the other day to look into adding 3d app drawer. I hope u have better luck. The 3d drawer in launcher pro is by far the best. I would like to see how it is coded in to launcher pro. Its definitely tweaked from the version in launcher2.apk for the nexus one.

I am basically trying to implement the code from launcher2, I would use the code from LauncherPro cause you are right it is by far the smoothest, except it's closed source not open source so I just wouldnt feel right stealing his code. Now stealing open source code is what I'm about =)

It broke the internal memory scanner in the HTC music app...Going to try and flash the music fix Lou tweeted out this morning and see if it fixes
Great looking theme though, could be a daily driver if I get the music to scan the EMMC
EDIT: Lou's fix worked - Theme working great now. Thanks again for the hard work

I might have missed it but is this an update.zip to flash via clockwork or metamorph?

in your screenies your showing this on skyraider's rom, looks like 3.3? just wondering if its workin on his rom or not? didn't think he used evo framework

Did you sign into Facebook for HTC? There are two facebook apps on this rom, use freidnstream and sign into facebook and let it sync and see if that fixes it. That is what I did on mine to fix it but I'm not 100% positive thats the fix yet

[MM Theme] The Blue Guy V2 (Oct 19)

Blue Theme designed from/for THE NEW GUY v4.

I made The New Guy v4 my daily driver, so i decided to theme it to MY liking, and i LIKE BLUE!
I took the original theme format Credit to the original themers!(though i dont know who they are) moddified it and added some of my own tweeks.
Changes include:
Blue Icons on Rosie dock
Blue Circle battery
Blue Signal Bars
Blue accents to status icons (will be editing more icons soon)
BLUE frame when moving icons on homescreens!!
All framework highlights BLUE (removed all green)
Removed GPS location icon (the crosshairs)
Themed HTC CLOCK Widget
Themed HTC Calendar Widget
Themed HTC Settings Widgets (hotspot , wifi, bluetooth, etc)
Themed MARKET APP(Vending.apk)
Themed GMAIL.apk
Themed stock MMS.apk
Themed Settings.apk
(I attempted to remove/replace all Green from regularly seen/used Apps)
SEE SCREEN SHOTS BELOW...
Its come to my attention that the clockwidget theme may not apply.. please reboot, then reapply the individual item if that happens. Should fix it!
UPDATE!!!
V2 is up, Thanx to Hatman... Ive added several images to the theme, aswell as HTCCamera.apk. Ive also fixed a few items that i noticed. More to come...

i havent flashed it yet but i know that with these new evo based framework roms, any little modd could mess up the animation. wich is cool if you disable it anyway, but i think that's one of the cool featers of these "evo" roms.

I did not apply any themes prior to this... Im not sure if that will affect anything, other than there may be changes in those themes that are still there, if I didnt edit them myself.
As far as the clock widget... I had to reapply it after a reboot. Im not sure why it acts this way. After the second time it worked fine... let me know it its still fuct... ill see if i can figure out why its being stubborn

I would suggest to change the loading circle to blue to complete the theme

Looks good tried it out... im wondering if i could make the black behind the #s a little transparent... the BLACK seems a lil too dark against my background.

Blue Lock Screen
So I just themed the generic lock screens blue Hope you enjoy. It is the same color that you used for your themes Drukan. BTW you are the reason that I am using this ROM. I LOVE blue and do not like red. This Theme is great!!!! So is the ROM. I cannot wait until he releases the 5 wide app drawer.

You use Metamorph. Put the zip file in the AndroidTheme directory on your SDCard and then launch MM and select extract new theme. After it is extracted then select pick exsisting theme. It will only work on the OP. The ones that I posted with the exception of the clock will not work as I just posted the extra png files that I added.

FYI, im gonna get into a few more apks and make some more changes.

This theme has only been tested running the newest azreal rom based on the 3.70 ota. But should work with any 3.70 rom.

Having a problem, i have been trying to make the notification pulldown transparent and i made the png transparent, but now it just shows a black background. So i'm assuming there is a second background controled by a xml file or another png. Does anyone know what i have to edit to get it fully transparent?

Thank you, thats what i was thinking. So i guess i will go poke around in the service.jar. Themeing the evo/2.2 is way more involved then 2.1/other phones

it's not an xml edit... you just need to resize the png to fit. it uses a small png and tiles it. so just resize it to 480x800 and you're cool. i've been modding those far a long time.

I love the theme . But quick question , how are you changing the colors of the signal bars in the status bar ? I have tried and tried but once i pull them out GIMP2 only lets me darken them not change the color . I already know I must be doing it wrong so any help would be nice .

What!!!!! your asking me to give away my trade secrets? Just Kidding!!!! In gimp right click png go to image=mode=switch to RGB mode. Now u should be set to change color.
Also quick note Not sure if u know but the signal bars are actually in the com.htc.resources.apk and are named cdma_sys_6signal_X

I believe what u are looking for is the gps pngs and it is in the com.htc.resources.apk and the pngs are sym_gpsone_3_sprint for gps off and sym_gpsone_0_sprint for gps on

Theme for Overcome 1.6.X (CWM)
This is just the start of my theming with help and suggestions i will improve it!
The Transparent notification bar will only work with a live wallpaper! (Static wallpaper doesn't scale under the bar so remains black)
If you want a static wallpaper try "multi picture" livewall from the market
(Im using launcher pro and 180dpi)

Changed the brightness slider colour to fit the theme!

My live wallpaper. there a choice of 3 pics just select them from the wallpaper settings once installed!
My dockbar and blank png for launcherpro!
Open the zip on desktop! and pull out the update.zip , wallpaper, dockbar
-update.zip install with clockwork mod or push with root explorer!
-Use apk manager or same sort of app to install the wallpaper! My live wallpaper. there a choice of 3 pics just select them from the wallpaper settings once installed!
-Apply dockbar using launcher pro (settings/appearance/dock background)
and use the blank.png. for the app drawer icon!

unfortunately i reverted back to overcome 1.4.5 due to some contacts issues with 1.6.1

I love your minimalistic theme and i flashed it right away.
But there are some difference between your screenshots and your flashed theme on my Tab.
See my screenshot and yes i wiped the dalvik after applying your theme.

The Pics are from my 1.4.4 overcome still a couple of glitches in 1.6.1 that i am fixing now!
but not sure why your text is black????

Okay...
Not only the text is black but the text under the powerbuttons are show which i do not see in your screenshots.
(Swiped from my Overcome 1.6.1 loaded GT-P1000 using XDA Premium App)

If your still having a problem with the black text try putting the framework-res.apk in manually with root explorer!
I personally place the framework in the "overcom rom.zip" from my desktop
So maybe the cwm update is not working properly!
I dont have the text problem???

i really liked this theme on 1.4.x but the alpha level is little too low. the background distracts too much when i interact with the notification items. can it be increased a little bit? i mean make more opaque

the brightness bar is cool

I'm back again and tested your update.
First tru CWM and second tru Root explorer.
Everytime i wiped the Dalvik and still the same problem.
So i did a new rom flash currently Overcome 1.6.3.
Did the same thing over again to apply your theme.
As you can see there is still a difference between your screenshot and mine.
- i got text beneath the powerbuttons
- my display brightness shows text
- notification text is shown in black font
And i have found the reason but not the solution
If i change my "Local and text" to English language then your theme is as i should be.
If i change it back to my language (Dutch) your theme gets completely ...F-Word...
Only the notifications stay in black font even if i change the locale
So it has to be something with the locales, is there something you can do?

Try the new update! but not sure if it will work! i placed the strings.xml and arrays.xml in all the values folders (locales) so hopefully it will!
if not let me know! i will look into it when i get the chance!!

Did not work still the same issue.
The powerbutton and display brightness text.
But the notifications text has change into white font

well.. its not a bug but the problem im having is.. for example, when i pull down the notification bar, i can see the transparent layer which is fine but the transparency or alpha value for the transparent layer is too low for my liking. i sometimes cant distinguish between the items on notification and the items in the screen below the notification transpancy layer.
