which cyanogen ROM is used in this built?

Megaupload blocked here...anyother mirror please

I'm kinda stuck at splash1 - is that the 30min waiting game you were talking about?
EDIT: Logcat just got going... let's see how this turns out (still @ splash1).
EDIT2: Just entered my PIN, still loading and a lot of error messages. My LED doesn't work and the BatteryService seems to be broken.
Currently stuck at "Loading... It may take several minutes to complete, please wait."

i have same paroblem..and always loading some thing after reboot...its said It May Take Several Minute To Complete.please wait..!! any solution??

I flashed this ROM today, and i had a few problems.
1) the biggest one was that i had no data. i was connected to a Tmo network, and i always get GPRS service there, but all i had was 4 bars. not even an Edge logo up there. so i couldnt access market or browse the web or anything.
2) my contacts wouldnt sync. this might be due to the data issue, but i didnt have any contacts.
i went back to CM6.1 RC1 until such a time that these problems are fixed. it's really a good ROM. it felt really good to have Sense on my G1 again. it was fast, usable, and come on, it's a Sense Froyo ROM. what's not to like?

Very nice rom! I have had a couple reboots when the screen is off though.
Mytouch 1.2
2708 Radio
I think I traced the random reboots to 614mhz default cpu clock.

I have upgraded my g1's radio with ...27.08 and latest spl .13d and downloaded preshoot kernel I think.
icynooxo sense get installed and worked when I tried to install applications in it installation process failed.
with ever app samething happened so I tried using adb install still same problem plz help
Its my first time I have installed sense rom
Sorry for bad English
Sent from my HTC Dream using XDA App

Pretty good but the iphone icons burn my eyes.

i hate to be the one to ask since im sure you worked hard on this rom but is there anyway to just install the normal sense icons? the rom seems really awsome but why iphone icons? thats like a chevy with a ford sticker on the back. but other than tht looks awsome, cant wait to try

Cant connect my G1 to the computer thru the USB...
Im trying to re flash the rom after another wipe since alot of things arent working ie:
Sense Widgets
Mobile connection (internet , market)

[ROM] CyanogenMod - No, you can't have a pony (STABLE) [UPDATED 03/04 - v4.2.15.1]

Now that the dust has settled, it's time for a new CM build..
This is a heavily modified version of AOSP 1.6 without the proprietary bits (which will back up your proprietary bits and restore them after installing the ROM). In order to get up and running the first time, you'll need to follow some simple instructions. A great set of documentation has been put together by the community at the CyanogenMod Wiki. Everything you need to know is there!
But first..
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
The Android devices we own come with many files that can't be redistributed legally, and as you all probably know, I can no longer include these with my ROMs. So, in order to get up and running, you'll need a compatible device with a compatible ROM.
Installation Guide @ CyanogenMod Wiki:: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php/Main_Page#How_do_I_upgrade_to_the_latest_CyanogenMod.3F
IF HTC Touch Input Force Closes: install file below =)
* UNIVERSAL! Runs on both Dream and Magic 32B
* Based on Android 1.6, many bugfixes and enhancements from AOSP, XDA, and me
* Custom art and wallpapers from Prash
* Highly optimized kernel with many extra modules
* Enhanced ramdisk which uses optimal mount options and smart startup
* Includes E2FSProgs for checking and converting Ext filesystems
* Apps2SD is automatic! All you need is a second partition (ext).
* Launcher with 5 screens and auto-orientation and compact drawer layout
* 360 degree auto-orientation thanks to Optedoblivion
* Clean filesystem shutdown at poweroff/reboot, and fsck at boot (no FS corruption!)
* Includes Amazon MP3 store, and Work Email (MS Exchange support)
* Does not require "DangerSPL"
* Includes a massive APN list
* Maximum CPU scaling frequency set to 528MHz with latency tweaks
* Various enhancements to the Settings app including extra partition space
* System dex cache moved to /cache to save 30mb on /data
* Phone app enhancements by cytown
* MMS enhancements from rgv151
* FLAC audio support thanks to kroot
* Bluetooth OBEX support from Erin Yueh
* Contacts app enhancements by ChainsDD and Wysie
* USB tethering support (kernel code ported by Zinx)
* Commandline extras: bash, lsof, powertop, htop, nano, busybox
* Ability to lock home app in memory (control in Spare Parts app)
* Eclair graphics, apps, and other guts

CHANGELOG IS NOW HERE!
So let me get this strait for the noobs...
edit: revised my steps since I learned that what HTC refers to as a "recovery image" is different than what we do so that caused a LOT of confusion for me and i'm sure it did to a lot of other people! On the HTC website the recovery image is the same as an update.zip so basically it's just an update you need to apply that's all.
Here's my step by step process that I used going from CM 4.1.11.1 to 4.1.99
I have CMRecovery Image 1.4
-Go to http://developer.htc.com/adp.html
-DL the 1.6 "recovery image" the file name is - signed-dream_devphone_userdebug-ota-14721.zip
-Then DL CyanogenMod-4.1.99
http://n0rp.chemlab.org/android/expe....99-signed.zip
-put them both on your SD card
-Boot up into CM recovery image 1.4 by rebooting and holding the home button, do a wipe.
-update using any zip to that "recovery image" (signed-dream_devphone_userdebug-ota-14721.zip)
(it should auto reboot install radio then reboot again and load back up to the CMrecovery img screen)
-Then update any zip usig CyanogenMod-4.1.99 (update-cm-4.1.99-signed.zip)
-Then power on the phone
-Very simple! the rom is running great so far and I'm glad that's it's going to be even easier to update to future CM updates using CM updater
Just to make sure, if you have 4.1.11.1 do you have to flash the ADP rom then the new rom, or can you just go from 4.1.11.1 to 4.1.99?
Nice to see you back! Flashed and running just fine, no problems yet!
Meh, I always hate flashing the radio. But what's necessary is necessary I guess. I suppose it's possible to simply copy the required files over and resign?
He didn't say anything about flashing the radio again, just the recovery image

You can actually just use fastboot to flash the system.img from HTC first also.
First off good to see you back!!! Nice to see that it was user friendly to flash this as well. Hope to see 4.2 out soon cause this rom is pretty stable so far. No home screen loads as of yet. Great work!

The "Recovery Image" is just how HTC refers to their update.zip format of the installer. It does include a radio image.
Great, but I totally don't understand what I'm supposed do to run this?
The backup/restore process is automatic and built into my ROM's installer. If it detects that you have a compatible base image, it will backup/restore the necessary files.
I just want to make sure I'm 100% clear - the ION image is what I should do for my 32B, right?
Also - won't it nuke the custom recovery environment?
Ahh ok little confusing thanks for clearing that up
Has anyone with a MyTouch3G been able to install the ROM?
I downloaded the HTC ION ROM and checked the MD5, so far so good. I copied it over to the SD card, renamed it update.zip, and tried to install it in recovery mode. However, I get the following error:
getprop("ro.build.product") == "sapphire"
E:Error in /sdcard/update.zip (Status 7)
Installation aborted.
Will you be including Advanced Launcher in future builds?
Download the "1.6 Recovery Image" from HTC, flash it. it will also flash you radio
Reboot back into recovery. Then flash my ROM.
here was my process:
- Start from Cyanogen 4.1.11.1
- Flash ADP stock "recovery" zip
- Radio flashes, phone asks for reboot
- Phone automatically reboots to recovery (still CM 1.4 recovery), flash Cyanogen 4.1.99
- Reboot without a wipe
- Google apps exit right after start (Market, Gmail)
- Reboot, wipe
- Perfection
So do a wipe when coming from CM 4.1.11.1. Then again, I forgot to fix_permissions...

This is an AOSP-based build with extra contributions from many people which you can use without any type of Google applications. I found a link from some other project that can be used to restore the Google parts, which can be found below or elsewhere in the thread. I've still included the various hardware-specific code, which seems to be slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Besides JesusFreke, cyanogen is the godfather of Android.
CM exists since the G1/HTC Magic. After cyanogen got his Nexus, the project started to grow big. Atm it's (officially) available for 8 devices with many other unofficial ports for other devices.
No ext partition on the SD card is needed, it uses the Froyo A2SD implementation.
great man!!!!!
I just felt a little bit afraid...
I flashed all the things as you said ( Radio, wipe, CM, Gapps) then reboot...
I was stuck on a little Android robot just close to a white box and a yellow arrow going out the bof and going towards the robot..
Remove my battery 2 times than nothing...
Now, I wait a little bit more, then some stranges things happened ( going to HTC logo, reboot, the box and the android, reboot) and now, I have the boot animation...
All seem correct, but I was so afraid

When you see that the radio is being flashed, it's a VERY bad idea to pull the battery at that point!
Ok, I didn't know that!
So I feel lucky, everything is fine!
Thank for the information, I won't do that again!
just flashing with a2sd.
Fingers crossed it still works
update: It works with a2sd!!
I hope it dont cause problems as that a2sd method was for the nightlys.
Has the bootimage been changed since the last nightly?
Screens please

Static IP with DHCP router
Hi
I still have problem with connecting wifi to a DHCP router. I tried Wifi Static to set statis ip which worked fine on the other rom, but i have never been able to use it in CM Rom
Besides, I have two APN on my 3 Network, but I can only choose 1 of them hence I cannot swap to the other one.
I'm looking for helps from everyone
Thank you.
I don't understand why you people want screenshots... it's stock Froyo in appearance, other than some blues swapped for cyans.
Can't wait to flash this. Kudos to the CyanogenMod team for all their hard work.
Is wifi sleep issue fixed?
Is vpn issue fixed?
Is that definitely the correct md5 of the Radio image?
I get:
Code:
e75698d9341820818dc7f345f48717cf
Consistently, downloaded both on-device using wget and on my PC using Chrome and wget.

Extremly fast!
Very fast, great battery life too.
I'm not convinced profiles are working properly but need to look at it more closely.
Great stuff!
Mms not working for me , optus aus
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA Premium App
With the new 5.7.0 version of Google Maps out this may be of interest...
I can`t download anything bigger than 5M from the markets
That's why the script /system/etc/init.d/06mountdl is included in the ROM. You shouldn't need to do anything.
I've been running RC1 for a week with a 5MB /cache, no download problems (including Maps 5.7).

Downloading the new 7.1-RC1 right now. Have run 7.0 before, was quit ok. Now running Oxygen 2.1.6 but somehow that one has a huge battery drain for me, dont know why. So i'm gonna try the new Cyanogenmod later toyday to see if i'm going back to CM
I installed this new 7.1 ROM 10 hours ago. Generally speaking it's a very fast ROM. I like it much. But there are some little problems
1 - there are no notification for number of SMS received (SMS icon)
2 - camera shutter sound is very loud (setting there are for this not working)
3 - wi-fi signal is more weaker then other ROM in the same conditions
4 - GPS lock up need 5 or 6 minute
If you can do something with this, will be great
I didn't have any trouble installing Maps 5.7.0 this morning
So good news to know CM release 2.3.4 roms

Maybe "your" problems are because is still an experimental rom this version and not a stable one. Try 7.0.3, this one is the last stable release.
Cheers!
Is there any plan to use the GRJ90 (Android 2.3.5) base?

Are there already ROM's with Android 2.3.5? Or better said, is 2.3.5 out already ? Didn't heard about that so far. What is made better in 2.3.5 ?
For your long GPS fix, try FasterFix from market(need to be S-OFF). Now it takes me 15 seconds to locate

As far as I heard, the only new thing in 235 will be secure nfc with google wallet.so to me, it's not that important to get it asap.
Upgraded from 7.0.3 to 7.1-RC1 last night with no wipe of any partition, 1st thing i noticed is insane battery life charged to 100% last night when to bed at 12H00 woke up at 06H30 battery is at 99% after 6 and a half hours SICK
Thus far pretty awesome, only other thing i noticed is that in call volume is very low even with the call volume max'd, i am using the XX.XX.XX.23 radio will flash the XX.XX.XX.08 radio when i get home and see what difference it makes.
I havent really tested much as I only have it on for a few hours, should anything come up, i will report back.

Well, only the minor version is changed and the increment is 1! I don't expect major changes in the core of the OS. My point was that when one downloads the source repository, many of the CyanogenMod projects are downloaded from android.git.kernel.org. If Google pushes GRJ99 to its source repositories, then most of the CyanogenMod core projects will be based on GRJ99, unless the maintainer modifies the manifest.xml to instruct repo to download a specific branch.

Assuming that was with 3g and WiFi?
Be interested in what happens! I am new to CM7 (though i'd try it after using Oxygen since it's release!) and liking it so far but went for the stable build (7.0.3) as im away next week! But would upgrade in a second if it is stable and the battery is that good!

DOWNLOAD
IMPORTANT: Before downloading the ROM and flashing it blindly, YOU MUST READ AND UNDERSTAND the important information shown here, ELSE DON'T WHINE SAYING IT DIDN'T WORK AND THAT I DIDN'T WARN YOU.
1. This ROM DOES NOT SUPPORT CUSTOM MTD. You can do it, but don't come asking for help if you use it and something doesn't work and you break your device or whatever.
2. You NEED. I repeat, N-E-E-D ClockWorkMod Recovery v4.0.1.4. NO, it WON'T work with Amon_Ra or anything else. It might flash, but it doesn't install everything correctly. You can get such recovery HERE (Fixed).
3. Do a FULL WIPE (/boot, /data, /cache, /system, /sd-ext) before installing this ROM. NO, it's NOT incremental and if you try to install it over a ROM it WILL format these partitions.
4. This ROM has been tested ONLY with RADIO 6.35.16.19 AND 6.35.10.18.
5. Last but not least, I would like to say I am, but I'm not responsible if by flashing this ROM you start WW3, your PC explodes or makes your phone become a Cylon and assimilates you (wtf xD) so... as always with any other ROM out there: Try it at your own risk.

NOTE FOR 32B USERS: This ROM -works- for 32B ---BUT--- you have to flash an appropiate kernel for it to work, as the included one only works for 32A. And yes, there's no CWM Recovery BUT YOU CAN USE AMON_RA 1.7 (only 32B). Also, camera may or may not work, I've found it's random, so your device may vary. Still, I think it's worth the flashing . Enjoy 32B users! thanks to all those who have helped to test it in their devices ^_^!
PATCHES / UPDATE.ZIPs
These are update.zip files you can download into your SD Card and apply using ClockworkMod Recovery v4.0.1.4 to archieve some desired effects in the ROM.
You can apply them anytime unless they say they're made to be applied ONLY after flashing the ROM zip.
Most (if not all) of these patches are ROM-independent. If you're using it in your ROM to help your users, PLEASE GIVE PROPER CREDIT!, or if I find out (and trust me I will) I'll take them offline. Thanks .

PROBLEMS?
Sadly, I highly depend on the details you provide in order to help you. If you have any sort of problems, please follow the following steps:
1. Make sure you have ADB installed, up and running. There are lots of tutorials on how to do this on the web and on XDA. It's an easy process and helps a lot.
2. Turn the phone off.
3. Open a command/terminal window and type "adb logcat" without the quotes.
4. It should say something like "-- waiting for device --".
5. Turn it on as you would normally (this means, no pressing the home or volume buttons).
6. You should see lots of output. Wait 2-5 minutes or so and copy the output to Notepad or somewhere else.
7. Paste it on paste.ubuntu.com, pastebin.ca, pastebin.com, etc. or send it to me through PM as a compressed file (ZIP, RAR, whatever works).
By following those simple steps, we all can benefit from your help, including the assistance you can get from it.

So far, it's stable for daily use .
Yes, the kernel is OC ready (it comes from Carz's latest one ). I haven't tested tethering, but it should. I haven't had any FCs or similar. Sometimes the screen doesn't come back up but it does after a few button presses and in rare occasions, mostly when playing music and I'm on the street so I can't take a logcat in those moments lol but I need to fix that for sure .

The network splash screen takes a while. For how long did you let it boot?
Try to get a logcat:
Turn the phone off
Run "adb logcat"
Turn the phone on
Wait around 5 minutes or so.
If you see something similar to the first few lines you see when it boots it could be bootlooping, but I don't know for sure.
When you get the logcat, paste it somewhere (pastebin.com, pastebin.ca, paste.ubuntu.com, etc) and post it here so I can take a look at it, or zip it and send it to me through PM, and I'll try to solve it
thank you for this rom, gonna try it out later
previously using eclair with sense
hope wifi, bluetooth, thether, will work properly
thanks again!

Thanks for your reply I am unable to get a logcat because when its connected to the computer and i reboot it displays the splash screen and FASTBOOT USB in red I even changed to the recovery that's in your signature same result could it be the radio I could try an older radio i will try a few things and let you know
Okay guys, I think I know what's wrong...
I think I forgot to mention to flash Carz's kernel after flashing this ROM. I'll try to make an updated 0.2 with the kernel included - or - you can try to download Carz's kernel and flash it and try to boot again.
This will fix the Wifi/GPS/boot issues -------------------------^

To the rest of you, thanks for the support! ^_^
question
hey darkguy2008,
I flashed carz kernel and still no boot. Does this rom use custom partition?

Nope, it doesn't. Right when it's on the carrier logo screen, can you run "adb logcat" and see what does it say? it should stop saying "-- waiting for device --" and start throwing up a lot of data, doesn't it?
AFAIK, ROM stuff doesn't touch (or affect) fastboot at all. Worst thing I've gotten is the phone going back into recovery after an unsuccessful boot :/
I'm gonna upload v0.2 now, try with it when it's done
Hello
Version 0.2 doesn't boot.
Stays at HTC Magic
Any solution?
Thanks

I did follow the steps exactly the ADB logcat stays at "waiting for device" 20 minutes maybe is not compatible with my device the first one of many that I have tried I guess there is always a first time.
My device is a magic is yours a magic too? I was looking forward to your 6.35 radio rom as I like froyo they seem to run real smooth on my old radio 3.22 setup.
Thanks

Yes, mine is a Magic 32A, just like my signature, except I have a different recovery now. Maybe that's the issue?
Try carz's recovery:
http://www.multiupload.com/527GZ5FVWZ
Yeah, first time too, because I have tried lots of roms and never gotten such issues ... USB and ADB are a little picky, try replugging them, try to get back to a previous ROM and see if you can get ADB in it. If you can then something's up with the ROM, if you can't, then something's up with your PC setup (mostly ADB+USB issues :/ ).
If you get your SPL and Radio the same as I have in my signature, you shouldn't run into problems

I used the same recovery but cant get anywhere with the rom. ADB and logcat is fine starts few seconds after the splash screen appears in all ROM's even froyo by lazslo a G1 rom with ezterry's auto kernel. I will try some froyo kernels and see if I can get it to boot. Will keep you updated.
Thanks for for your effort
