UPDATE:
So its out on android and i am a few days in playing.. Its realy a fun game! I only played wow for about a year and its very similar but its mobile. I find myself wanting to play more but playing on the phone for long periods of time is not very comftorable yet. However its still a good time waster.

I stopped playing at level 5, but it was butter smooth.

Ya never rooted my phone and i get the occasional software lag when i click something in the interface. however after i do it that one time it must stay loaded because then it becomes as smooth as butter. i just hit level 14 almost to 15 now and have been playing for 3 days straight. today will be another marathon day while at my security job! but the game has yet to wear me out i think it has to do with how there is always something different to do.

Can you do me a favour and edit your first post so that it doesnt look so much like an advert for the game, discussing it is one thing but looking at that I would be inclined to think that you work for the company and are trying to advertse here

Cool ya its a big download however unlike the ios version we can play over 3g/4g!

Why the help do I have to be connected to WiFi to play online that's just stupid what about people with unlimited data ?
Any way around this cuz i don't have WiFi at work and need a time waster like this game

The only time you really need wifi them for this game is when you're downloading install package which is about 600 mb. I had originally said I will run over edge but only if you are tethered wifi through something else I do this with my tablet

HTC Sensation Gaming capabilities

Has anyone noticed that almost no new hd games are compatible with the sensation? For example, when I go try to find the asphalt 6 apk file multiple sites say it is incompatible with the sensation. Also, how do I download.apk files in the default browser instead of html files?

change the .html to .apk after you download and then install

I can tell you that Asphalt 6 is looking VERY nice on this phone

Asphalt 6 and Rainbow 6 look very nice on my device. Still can't get Fruit Ninja to play correctly. I believe it's a resolution issue though

I just finished playing asphalt 6 on my phone and it runs awesome

Modern Combat 2 looks amazing on the display btw

Buy the games that are supported for this phone and they will work fine. they have eight so far thats for the sensation , If you bought games for a different device in the past they will sent you a link to download them for your current device and if they don't have a certain game you can get something else our wait

wait so the reason therent arent that many hd games out for the sensation is because it just recently came out right? not because it is not powerful enough

I have an SGS currently but getting a Sensation in the next day or two. I have bought a ton of Gameloft games, will I be able to run these or need to contact Gameloft to get new APKs? Or do I need to pirate games that I own?

i went to the download section and it showed me the games u have bought but wouldnt work. it would download the mytouch 4g version. i sent an email but no response.
i do remember when i had called gameloft the said i can call and get my games on a new phone. that was a while back though so ill try calling again.

correct, because this phone is definitely powerful enough. THe phone comes with a HD game already. NOVA1. It plays great.
If you dont mind asking what version of Modern Combat 2 is for the sensation ?

i just finished calling them and they sent me all of the games i previously bought except the ones that i havent seen in their site though.
edit: the version they sent me is 1.0.1

My problem is that I wasn't sent invoices for all of the games I purchased through their website. I also have been given free games Eternal Legacy and Lets Golf 2 by them because NOVA doesn't work on the SGS Gingerbread firmware.

GT racing is for free on the gameloft website, just click on the "samsung galaxy S2" when they ask for what kind of device you have (I got the game using a download link by SMS) the game works perfectly on my HTC sensation XE with stock rom (much better graphics then asphalt 6 in my opinion)

No more THD Apps??

Well this is a bummer. I upgraded from Atrix to Atrix 2 and just today I realized that I can't install any of the Tegra2 optimized apps obviously cause of the OMAP chip instead of the Tegra2. Well that sucks. We have a nice powerful phone with a beautiful display but stuck with low-res games.

I've an OG Atrix & I love it
When RockStar Games announced Grand Theft Auto III 10th Anniversary for Android & IOS , I got Waaaay toooo excited & happy , simply because the OG Atrix is one of the few phones supported

Give it time every phone that I have Owned that Does Not Have Tegra Chip can get a Hack to Run the games so having Tegra is semi sorta mute point considering the Hack fakes the games into Running on the phone and there really is No degradation either.

Only thing that could happen is a freeze or reboot, my write had the atrix 2 and doesn't want it rooted until after her 30 day period or I would try it.

im using chainfire 3d on atrix 2 now. works great with the exception of punt princess, and bang bang racing not working

Use Chainfire 3d and then install the nvidia plugin, then run tegrazone using nvidia plugin.

There is an actual plugin. I'm still hesitant to install chainfire. I'll wait till there is a way to recover from a bad install anyone else tried and succeed?

I found the pro version. Installed it. Worked. Installed BioBall and Jenga. Works great!! Jenga is so rich with 3D!

Just google for getjar on your phone, go to te website. There you can download the getjar app. Go to Goldapps, (the golden star) and so load it! You can download a lot of paid apps for free there. I think paper camera, be weather, NHL 2010 Radardroid and ....! They are all for free,(and it's legal) the only fault is, you ca not update them threw the android market, and Getjar does not offer any updates. But i dont care about it when it's free!

just downloaded getjar market and game and now my captivate is messed up. keep trying to restart it, but wont go past lock screen. keeps vibrating like something is force closing. the word "free" got me. should've just paid on the android market. thanks alot!

I am sorry, for your problems! I never had any, and i think i have installed 5 apps from there! Maybe cache wipe helps!

Modern Combat 3 for $0.99 right now in the android market. just go to the main gameloft developer page where it lists all of gamelofts games and click to buy for $0.99. if you go into the games description it will list it as full price.
dont know it this is the right section but i figured a lot of you might be interested in this.

ive had that game for AGES lol.. good game tho.

thx DSL .. went to decks 1.3 and FINALLY got it to dL the 700+mb . tho it took a few tries idky .. got my sixaxis working also but the move(right analog) is kinda laggy .. maybe its just my ps3 controller but pretty sweet game ..

First of all, thanks for the heads up. I already grabbed the game, and Modern Combat 2 as well, but I'm still glad for the reminder.
This may not be the right place for this, but I notice a lot of GameLofts other games are marked as incompatible with my Evo4g, for example Nova II. My phone came with NOVA I, and as we all know, the hardware is still enviable, so what's up there?
Can the fact that someone is running a custom ROM cause the market to view their phone as incompatible with products it could initially run? Can anyone else download NOVA II from the market?
