hi, guys , recently i develop a app "find my android ", similar to ip's find my iphone ,to help you find your lost droid. : )
below is capure of my software.
when your sim card changes, my app can see from the imsi.
then app will send a alarm msm or email to you. the new telnum
of your phone attached.
if your droid is stolen , then you can send the signal sms to
the new telnum.
then the app will start a service to report your location to your
email box or another phone.
then you kan use my pc client to locate the phone.
the apk is attached.
if you like this app ,i hope you can vote for me .
this app is also taking part in the google android app contest . i need your vote!!
thanks.
the url is in the pc_python_src.rar thanks.
Kindly include the option to change the language.

That's really rude. I reported your post; pls go
Can the app email coordinates like this? 43.061162,-120.45845
I would rather just get that than have to enter my email account/password into your program.
R u talking to me or the develeper.

Well, I think openbook didn't wanted to be rude, but I think his message is very short because he is writing from his mobile.
Maybe at the question "Which langage do you need?", you could have add at the english of your answer, a little "Plz"... Just to show some respect to the developer
Don't forget the developer is sharing this for fun...
Keep it cool guys
See ya.
Zepiii.
cool
very nice idea. two questions...
1) i installed it (i have a Pulse with Froyo) and configured it.
After, i changed sim and started the phone. the program wasnt in the active program list so it didnt send me any sms.
2) the location is from GPS or from telephone company area (like google latitude)?
because the GPS is not always present...
ps. good work!
thanks for your report.
i use the wifi+basesattion to locate the phone caus we don't open gps for power saving.
and i just send two number to email for that it's good for phone to do little work and this can protect the running service from being found out , you know ,the less the app doing ,the safer the app is.
as to the sim card checking ,some guys report the problem and i'm workin on it. : )
I dont speak chinese, is there a English version?

Hello everybody,
I'm sure we have here some WhatsApp lover. And of course some who have the liveview from Sony Ericsson
I love my liveview because i can leave my phone in my bag like in school and just watch what happen on my mobile with it.
But i use really often WhatsApp and I could be glad to have notifications on this little gadget
First of all, anyone knows if there is a plugin for it?
And second, is anyone interessed in making this?
btw, thank you to have read what i've wrotte :
PS: Or what about a simple plugin for every notifications, just showing it have a notification on the phone?
+1, I'd really be interested too
Same here. I would really love to get a notification on my liveview from whatsapp.
Tasker
Hey,
i try to realise it with tasker.
At the moment i read the notification, write it into an var and push it via OpenWatch Plugin to my watch.
Problem:
I cant read the message text. The only thing i can push to my watch is: "You have new mail from %%%%.". How could i solve this?
any progress?
Anyone found such an app now? Any progress in developing? Would be really, really cool to show whatsapp on my wrist!
+1
Just bought the liveview and I think it could be good...
So, I also would need a Whatsapp plugin
Me too.

I want Whatsapp for it so bad!
Asking again: any news about Whatsapp support for the LiveView?
I don't have one (waiting for the sony smartwatch i think, if that turns out any better)
But i'm guessing a whatsapp plugin would be very possible, especially since whatsapp stores the messages unencrypted on the sd card last time i checked..
me too
+1
also willing to pay for it or do it my self as soon as my liveview as arrived.
but would realy be nice to have it soon
luck_u
There is a reverse enginering project going on XDA somewhere, it that proves succesful, I think the WhatsApp plugin is not far away
Ok guys. I have this working. And here's how.
1 install a plug in from the market called Custom Notifier
2 allow the plug in to read your notifications by going into Settings, Accessibility
3 enable the plug in, in the LiveView app
4 select which apps you want to be notified about
5 press the thanks button
6 enjoy

Does anyone know if its possible for us android users to respond "to all" when iphone users send us a group text? Or even see who's involved in the group text? I've searched and searched and don't think there is a way so I figured Id ask here in case someone knew of a way.

Whatsapp.. That should work. Dunno. Don't use official texting. Whatsapp should work though.
And tell them to get Android. Make fun of them. Show the beautiful widgets. Then tell them to show you a beautiful weather animation on their homescreen. In they pull down the Android rip off pull down tell them it's weak, full screen. It should be easy, you know. On your little dinky screen.

Trust me. I've done literally everything you just listed. I've been an Apple user since the first gen Iphone up until the Iphone 4. Whatapp does work but the Apple user has to download it as well. I'm trying to see if I can connect with their native group text. I guess that's impossible at this point since we cant cross platforms yet. Similar to BBM on blackberries. If there is anyone with any ideas, please share.
Currently we are using Voxer which is pretty neat. However, the iphone user still needs to download it.

I'm looking for the same solution. Does anyone know of an app that allows android phones to see iphone group chats as group chats rather than breaking everything down into individual text messages that way we can do a reply all rather than having to send the same message to everyone that is in the group? Thanks.
There's plenty of apps that do this. 8sms is my favorite.

Thanks for your help. I've installed the app and it looks nice. I still need to test it out to make sure it works with group text messages with iphones. But I'll update this post once I'm able to confirm that it does or does not work. Thanks

Android 4.2 messaging app does it natively now. And there's also the new Hangouts which allows for group messaging.
Android 2.3.6- 4.0.4 I've used NinjaSMS and can can confirm it works with group messaging. Again, there's also the new Hangouts app.

I'm currently trying NinjaSMS. Hangouts didn't work for my phone. I couldn't send or receive MMS which appears to be a known problem with a few phones. In addition, the 8sms app which was suggest to me also didn't work. It broke up their iphone group text to an indiviual text from each person. Therefore I still had to reply individually to everyone in the group. I'll let you know if NinjaSMS works for me.
Hello,
Me and my gf used to chat a lot using whatsapp (she has an iphone)..i finally persuaded her to change to android but she wants the threads as she has them on her phone..i have tried everything and since you cant restore within different platforms the only good way i thought is if we did a "replay" of what we have sent by looking from the chat history from email..bit extreme but no other way..
The only problem is that the app doesnt let us use the time we wish (from system) because maybe it uses time from the web! Or maybe we can alter the time afterwards ..Any ideas??
Thnx

Not sure if there is any easier way but Whatsapp Xtract could be the answer since it support WA message extraction, you can get it here.
If you know some programming skill you can just play with the sqlite database, another way would be write some script to mass change the time on the chat history/email.
Good luck!
By the way, you probably want to change your title to include [Q] so that people know you are asking a question.
Thnx i will look it up! i was also thinkng about whatsapp on Bluestacks but then again the mod in time is still an issue

Have you tried Whatsapp Xtract? Well if you are talking about changing the date on email then a simple php script would do by mass converting the date.
But what can i see from the message history sent to email is that they have 'year' info skipped, so not sure what happen to messages sent/rcvd before current year, does it have year info? well, only if you have one sent/rcvd before 2012.
If only about changing the date on email maybe i can help, just give me some picture on how it looks like now and how it supposed to be.

Yes I have looked into this program..it all started from me wanting to export whatsapp chat into android from iphone! Then when I saw I cant do that I thought I could send my chat from scratch and change the date..but then again the app doesnt let you operate if you use incorrect time.BUT one thing I never thought is one simple and better solution: Why dont I avoid this app and its limitations and import my chat conversation from email to SMS with sms to text!! :thumbup:I will combine my sms and my whatsapp into one thread and job done! GOOD THING ANDROID SMS IS SO VERSATILE! .txt .csv. xls you name it. So happy right now thanx for your feedback anyway

Believe my you have many options and you can do some very quick shortcuts,
for example for:
Flashlight
Record Audio
Open Favourite App
Enable/disable WiFi/Bluetooth
now I am adding android wear commands (sending commands to Magus via Android wear device)
and some additional functions like ( disable call with sending text message - when device is face down ).
Set of options is really wide and it is very flexible when it comes to configuration.
But one is true, at first you'll have to get the idea and operation of Magus,
then you just RULEZ
