Is there a way to controll my tv, dreambox, reciver and ps3 through my x10?
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
U cant do any of that because for that you will need IR on your phone (and you don't have)
It's coming, I'm sure. There are already devices that do so for iPods/iPhones.
Ps3 would run off Bluetooth. Not ir

The App for iPhone and iPod required an dongle that must plug in the Headphone jack.
Sry for my bad english, Im german^^
There's an app called Pocket blu that is supposed to let you control a network connected Bluray player or PS3 over wifi.

Well you can buy "sixaxis controller" app from the market. ($5 i guess when i bought it). You just need a usb cable to connect ps3 controller to your desktop to change bluetooth settings. Then you're good to go.
you do not need it anymore, it can be done without root (i am rooted). I just connected it via usb turned on bluetooth and it paired itself automatically for me.

Wait this message was directed towards me or alakhai? If me, then all you need to do is buy the app from the market.
Then download "sixaxispairtool" on your desktop.
Connect your ps3 controller to your desktop (using ps3 usb cable) and change "local bluetooth address" to your tablet's bluetooth using the tool.
(You can find your tablet's LBA at the bottom when you launch the app)

How do you connect a bluetooth mouse?
Also, is it possible to have two different bluetooth peripherals working at the same time? (mouse+Keyboard)

Easy though? Connect your SGS to telly with tv-out and use a Bluetooth keyboard or attach an usb kind of plug-in on your SGS and connect with usb keyboard...
Et voila you can type and use whatsapp..

One my geekiest moments was hooking up my I9000 with the projector we had in the classroom and playing Manic Miner in a Spectrum emulator using a Wii controller. Although using my N810 as a bluetooth keyboard and mouse for my I9000 is also pretty geek.
BTW, PS3 controllers are the ones that use bluetooth (you can use them with the help of the Sixaxis app). You can only connect XBOX controllers through the USB port.

I've wondered.. would that be possible? I know that its possible to stream to an 1920x1080 monitor via MHL and i'm pretty sure i can somehow connect a mouse and a keyboard via bluetooth - or?
Which MHL Adapater and BT keyboard/mouse combo would you recommend? Does ANY BT keyboard/mouse combo work with our phone?

I have a microsoft wireless mobile mouse 3500 i dont know to sync
Hey bud,
I have a similair goal in mind and have begun gathering gear for my desktop replacement system lol. I have a monitor already. I just picked up the iHome bluetooth keyboard from my local store here. Dude, paired and connected in a snap. No extra work needed. All i do is turn bt on on the phone, turn the keyboard on and it immediattely defaults to the keyboard for text inpuut. I am in the process of researching how to remap the keys for optimized android functionality as this model is mapped out for iphone. but the media keys work well. volume up and down. pressing the play key automatically starts the media player and plays music. I am actually typing out this post on it right now in my car with my phone docked to my windshield lol. i love it. the arrow keys work in most apps to scroll through and select stuff. Now all i need is a mouse and mhl adapter. I gave up my pc when the hardrive croaked because my adroid phone does alll i need.
I started using android phones as a desktop replacement since i had my G2x. this phone is much easier to accomplish the task with. and with cloud storage we dont even need to use usbhost to latch on an external hardrive. Best of luck dude.

Logitech has a android specific keyboard. I think these have dedicated android keys for home, back and recent apps.

Thanks

Or why not just run xbmc on your nexus 5 and shazam all the movies and TV shows you'll ever need. Gotham beta running great on mine.

How about plex? I mean though its not free, if possible you could test plex with someone else's laptop to use the free Windows app to see if it works for you.
The obvious solution is connecting the jabra to the laptop. Resolving that issue is where you should focus, not some crazy work around.
Check other BT audio can connect to the PC and then troubleshoot from there.
