[Q] working stk for htc devices - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hello every one.
I' ve a problem.
If i install on my htc hero a rom developed from a stock htc hero rom ( 1.5 or 2.1 ) , stk app ( Sim tool kit ) works propely with my dual sim adaptor.
If i install other roms, not cooked from a stock htc rom, stk app exist but doesn't work propely. I can see the stk menù, but the app doesn't work.
Does exist a way to install a working htc stk.apk on a hero 2.2 rom?

i attach the 3 types of stk .
-2.1 htc come from a stock htc hero 2.1 rom and it works
-2.2 generic come from a 2.2 froyo rom ( no htc rom )
-2.2 htc come from a htc 2.2 rom
exist the possibility to install in my 2.2 froyo rom the third stk, instead of second?

Hello. I've updated my radio and Hboot to hboot-1.76.2007 and radio to 6.35.08.29 and using ROM : 3.05.401.3 wich has the version of 1.5 Android. I've got an HTC Magic 32A . I would like to know if there is a possibility of installing an Hero ROM android 2.0 wich is a Stock edition. Or version 2.1 for hero wich is stock edition and would work on my HTC magic. Thank you

Don't flash any stock Hero ROMs - they different against Magic's
To use Hero ROM you need port it. Make own kernel and pack into boot.img. Change some Hero drivers to Magic's. Rewrite build.prop.
Use ROMs ported already.
ahh i understand now better how it works After my exames i want to try develop a rom for fun.
Any recomendation for a Hero ROM with ported for magic?
I'm interested on a super fast and stable rom. Super smooth. Those are the parameters i give most importance. Thanks!
btw how can i install the superuser apk?

Have been searching for Android 2.1 or 2.2 for my HTC Touch/Elf. Can someone help me with the link to the same if it is already developed (which i am hoping it already is).
Even a older version would do. Please help.

But It's possible to install the keybord "t9"??
I have big problems to write with the default keybord.
