Just placed my order! Guys these are the best protectors around... Here are links to the Ultra Clear and the Anti Glare. I've only used the Ultra Clear, I think it would be a crime to hide this beautiful screen with an anti glare... There is a new video on these pages showing install on a Galaxy S... you can literally install them this easily and then lift up with the stickers to remove any dust with another sticker if you get any. You get 2 per pack.

Why did they give our phone that big gap at the top while the other models get that nice clean cut look?

I'm assuming you mean the fact that the protector doesn't go all the way around the speaker bezel? That I'm sure, is to avoid issues with that tiny little bit of screen protector that would otherwise be there, failing to stick or lifting. The less cuts and tiny bits you have on a protector, the longer it will last, because it will be less prone to lift or stop sticking or catch on something.
I actually prefer that it doesn't go all the around for that reason. I'm having issues with my current protector (the stealth guards one) having that tiny bit slide around and not stick well, it looks like crap...
Also, you're not going not notice anyways once this thing is installed. It's exaggerated in the picture so you can see the what the screen protector looks like. Once it's installed, it's as clear as glass if you put it on well. You'll probably be hardpressed to even notice it's there except for the "lip".

Thanks!!!! Just placed my Ultra Clear order...yay!!! They are truly best ones out.

I ordered one regardless, but after reading a bit more into it, I get what you mean. My stealth guards cover isn't having that problem, but seeing how SGP doesn't use as much adhesive, I can see how it could end up looking crappy.

Finally! Now I'm just waiting for those cases they have for the other Galaxy S phones.

Ordered mine yesterday... Thank goodness, because they are already "temporarily out of stock" if you try and order one today...

I had this on my droid inc and loved it. I am stoked they are finally out for the fascinate. Now I can throw away the crappy verizon one.

anti fingerprint or ultra clear???? i dno what to get?!?!?!?!!?! helpppp
edit: the ultra clear is out of stock anti fingerprint it is.

wow they are fast. just got my shipment email

i'm going to order one but i dont like how firefox requires me to authorize web certificate .. doesn't seem so safe

Got mine already. I ordered it yesterday morning. It looks great to me.

Where the hell are all the good SGP cases!?

anyone comment on the quality of their silicon cases vs others?

Damn I want the crystal clear one, wonder when they will be back in stock.

What are the advantages of the ultra clear vs the anti fingerprint?
SGPstore.com is no longer showing these protectors but I found the anti fingerprint on amazon at the following link.

Zagg Invisible Shield

I bought one of these last week and I have to say it's probably the worst screen protector I've ever seen. The only positive I can think of is that, despite being slightly more complicated than your regular screen protector, it's easy to install it without getting any bubbles under the screen.
Once on, the screen looks extremely tacky. It's almost impossible to install it without trapping any dust underneath. Probably the worst thing about it is the feeling of the material it's made of. Despite having the whole 'being made out the same material as what's used to protect military helicopter blades' gimmick they have going on, I don't think it's a good material to have on your screen. The material is thick and soft. They say it's unlikely to scratch, but due to the soft nature of the material, it's very easy to make (permanent?) impressions into it. After just a day of use the screen looked extremely scratched up and really looked awful.
It also doesn't have a smooth finish. This really stands out when looking at it from an angle.
At prices of over £10 for only one protector this item is an absolute rip-off. Stay well away.

After i bought this Invisible **** for my old HTC Daimond ... I will never buy again this ...this ... **** This is the best word to describe it. INVISIBLE ****
Wow, alot of bad points. I have been using thshield on all my devices in my sig, and i gotta day its worth it. my screen gets protected. yes it does scrathc, bug not as much as other sscreen protectors. i have been using mine since
s eptember. my only con is that on resitive tiuch screens, you have to prress harder on the screen and it gives an unpleasnt felling and squelching noise when you flick scroll. like chalk running down a board thing
Yeah, I bought one of these too, and it was so badly shaped, unpleasantly textured and and difficult to apply that it immediately went in the bin. In the four months or so I've had the phone I've not got a mark on the casing it yet anyway- the unibody is very tough.
I've used many different shield on my phones, and ZAGG's Invisible Shield is imo the best. After couple of days of usage it becomes really smooth and there's no bubbles or dirt under the shield. A friend of mine didn't even notice the shield until he looked at the screen from an different angle.
My advice is to use this material to protect the body, but NOT the screen.
The orange peel effect, reduced luminosity and really poor tactile feedback/stickyness make it a really bad choice.
I put one on a camera screen, also on an iPod. Several years ago now. The protection (& grip/non-slide) offered to the iPod is very positive, but it's a magnet for smudges and other imperfections.
& while we're on the subject, spend a few €/$ and get a quality screen protector from one of the trusted brands, instead of the 10 for a dollar ebay ones
I find that screen protectors last the life of my phones, so it's a small investment really.
to me there are better options than Zagg IS.
I personally never use Zagg's but I've seen couple friends of mine having problems with IS. After a year the edges of the IS-folie seemed to dry off and changed to same faint orange color. They all used full protection (screen + body) and all the edges became so and look ugly.
Upon seeing that, I used Skinomi on both my DHD and Touch HD and I am VERY satisfied. Get from Amazon.com. It's cheaper and it comes with lifetime warranty.
i managed to scratch mine yesterday so much for their special non-military crap!
i was using a pen on my phone, Lol and the pen mark got on the invisible shield. then i tried to scracth it off and it left scratches all over the screen :/

THE BEST BEST BEST solution for me was buying CaseMate POP with screenprotector in it Can 100% recommend it!
Screenprotector CM POP is scretchproof - the black parts of CM POP are "scretchlove"
but... it's great!
I used my iPhone for two years without any protection rather the case (nothing fancy).
The DHD would get the same treatment. No shields.
Just be a little careful and don't put your phone straight in your pocket with some change in it.
Now i have to invest in a new better screen protector, any suggestions?

I fit these things in my work for a price of £6.99 or £9.99 for the whole thing, it's a good piece of kit if you don't mind the feel of it but it only really looks good on an iphone 4, you really can't notice it besides the feel, DHD on the other hand makes it look cheap an nasty, the material is the same stuff they use on the Apache helicopters, it's remouldable for a longer period of time, if you get marks on it then that's your fault, it won't allow scratches easily at all it's very robust, tbh if you want a nice smooth and strong screen protector then may i recommend a griffin as they are the smoothest.
Also when you use zagg you must leave it to set for around about 2 - 3 days to properly benefit it, if you have a problem with dust underneath the screen then you obviously haven't done it properly, i never get dust under the protector.

I'm using that at the moment, it's a bit chunky but then again, my hands are too so it's all good.
Very tough case, only gripe is that it gathers white bits of fluff from your pocket.

I keep thinking that someday somebody will make a phone with a non-glossy screen, and save me the insanity. Guess not. I got the 3 pack of anti-glare covers, and struck out with applying them. Each time I got atiny peice of lint underneath that made my OCD go nuts.

I have to agree, they aren't nearly as good as the OP said they are. The screen looks like it has thousands of tiny dots on it now, hardly invisible.

screen protector.. would you recommend this?

i have the current oem ones from htc got it from expansys i might try the reelook ones on amazon for only 10 bucs
I use Zagg invisishield because when you put them on correctly (a lot of people claim to get the this bit right and don't) they are simply the best there is, no scratches at all, it's stuck in place and it looks great, it's good at keeping fingerprints away too, no gloss just an almost rubbery texture which does a good job of hiding any imperfections on the screen if you have any.
They are the best as in terms of robust strength, ppl will say they're not but they are, the only thing your left deciding is what feel you want, the Zagg's have a rubbery texture like i said whereas the others like griffin and rocket fish have sometimes mirror effect, tinted effect (so it can only be viewed from the front)
Some with a Matt effect.
Theres loads to choose from but it's all down to preference.
As for the case you've picked, yea it's nice
All you need is your screen protector now, the ones you chose will do the job, but they're a pain to fit and are most prone to peel and scratch.
I got this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-X-SCRE...ting_LaptopAccessories_RL&hash=item2a11c88cc4
It works really well. You just need to apply it in a room with little dust as possible. You just drop it on the phone. It will suck itself on the phone and than you take qtip and get all the air out. Got mine perfectly that people don't even see that it's on
But I still like the screen better without the protection. It feels smooth but not the same

Ghost armour is wayyyyyy better than zagg, looks better, feels better, doesn't smudge like zagg does. Have zagg on my transformer and attracts fingerprints and smudged like crazy, the ghost armour on my nexus s hardly gets any finger prints and rare smudge, can't wait to get to the mall to get a ghost armour installed on my sensation, p.s girlfriends zagg on dhd looks like crap after same time as the nexus s ghost armour looks prestine

I tried Zagg on my Vibrant and even my iPad. The texture and feel is annoying if you like the smooth feel of glass. What I look for in a screen protector is total invisibility (as in you don't know it is there) and the Zagg doesn't handle that.
The final straw for me was when I noticed vertical lines that showed up like a rainbow when the screen was on. I did some research and found that I was far from alone with my problem (yes I put it on perfectly) and got a replacement. That one had a similar problem so I trashed it and Zagg. I still have the one on my iPad (though it has a couple of the lines as well) but I will not buy Zagg again.
As for protectors like the ones discussed in this thread being prone to peel and scratch... Wrong. I put a Realook ( my Vibrant and it still looks new (meaning it looks like glass) after some relatively heavy use being in pockets with keys and pocket knives as well as more than a few drops. I passed the phone on to my wife who's purse is a phone scratching machine and even she hasn't damaged the screen protector. If she does somehow scratch it I have a couple of spares (I think that one game with three).
I just put the screen protector that is being discussed in another thread (says 'the best so far' in the title) on my Vibrant and it is perfect. Unless I tell you that it is there you wouldn't know that I have a screen protector on my phone. The fact that they are crystal clear, feel like bare glass, and end up costing less than $1 each makes this a no-brainer. I can buy 20 of these for the cost of one Zagg AND it is a superior product.

Several posters, including me, have had problems with corner bubbles with that SP on the Sensation. May work fine on the Vibrant, like the Realook, but the curved screen on the Sensation can be problematic. Not quite a no-brainer.

I have one on my Sensation right now. I would take pictures but it looks like a naked phone and you wouldn't see it.
I don't know what I did differently but I have no bubbles on the corners. I basically just did a 'peel and stick' install and didn't use a hair dryer and all of that stuff. Maybe I just got lucky.

Understand. Appears to be a crap shoot. Mine also had pits and dings in the surface, which would have made it unacceptable even if the bubbles weren't there. I tried everything but a blowtorch to fix it, and no dice. Moving on to wet SP's, which so far have their own issues. Dang curved glass...
Does this cover the whole glass? I mean some screen protector only covers the flat surface of the screen, does this one covers even the beveled edges of the screen?

But the protector is.cut perfectly for the sensations screen its just that semi round cut out that intrigues me. Or maybe the guy sent me the wrong protector.

I just got the same protectors and posted in the other thread. They are great in my opinion. Way better than the rubber kind.
To answer your question, the cut-out is for a light sensor under the glass. Yes, it is there, but nearly invisible. Shine a bright light at the screen and you'll see it.

Dirt cheap dry screen protector

I found this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/6-Clear-Scr...oth-for-LG-Nexus-4-E960-Google-/350672535192?

I currently have Skinomi. I liked it but it's already showing signs of stretches and unhealed marks/dents.

No cutout for proximity sensor could be a problem. Maybe that's why they're so cheap. Then again at $2 for 6, I have a feeling even the cheapest wet protector will feel better than those

I've always used wet apply protectors (6 different phones, and 3 tablets). No problems so far. I think you'd end up with more water in your device while talking on the phone in the rain than with applying wet protectors. Then again I also use distilled water which has lower conductivity than tap.
Here's my experience using a high quality (SGP) screen protector vs cheap ebay ones :
Im currently using SGP dual (front & back) ultraclear for about a month and although its a bit of a fingerprint magnet, so far there are no visible scratches on the protectors. Seems like it holds up pretty well against all the rubbings in my jacket pocket this past month. SGP claims of its material hardness was proven since there are no scratches at all so far :good:. And I thought all screen protectors are made equal...until I was proven wrong a couple of weeks ago..
I helped a housemate bought and install cheap dry application screen protectors on ebay for his samsung exhibit II phone. They are cheap (6 for $1.95), but it took 3 trials for me to finally be satisfied with the result as the first 2 trials resulted in scratches on the protectors when I was squeegee-ing the bubbles. I did not use a squeegee on the 3rd trial and just pushed the bubbles out using my fingers. as a result some of the bubbles are trapped (but went away after a couple of days). However, upon closer look, some of the protector edges are not flat, resulting on lifting on the edges. The thing just looks plain ugly.
So, my advise is stay away form the cheap protectors...you may get lucky with a hi quality protectors but odds are youre going end up with a lo quality ones (hence the low price). They are also prone to scratches. Yeah with the cheap ones, you can change it monthly but since the process of applying a protector takes about 1-2 hour for me, I prefer to install it once and be happy about it for the rest of the cellphone's life...
PS : BTW, the one you posted doesnt have a proximity sensor cutout...

So, my advise is try to stay away form the cheap protectors on ebay...you may get lucky with a high quality protectors but odds are youre going end up with a low quality ones (hence the low price). Also, they are prone to scratches...since the process of applying a protector takes about 1-2 hour for me, I prefer to install it once and be happy about it for the rest of the life of my cellphone.
PS : BTW, the one you posted doesnt have a proximity sensor cutout...

thanks for the heads up. I guess I'll just try and see. Hopefully I get a good quality one. I don't expect much. Beside its only $1.95.
I give the homeless guy nearby my house $1 every other days anyways

I have gone through quite a bit of smartsphone.. each of them I been applying different type of screen protector to try them out.
It really depends on how *cheap* they are...
I purchase 4 for $1.50 on ebay.. they feel as premium as those $14 for 2 high quality one (sgp)
but they do get scratches much more easily than high quality one.
And even if you manage to not get scratches on them, they tend to get worn out in the middle due the swiping ..

Sent from my Nexus 4
Update
So I received the screen protectors today. I did not apply it as I still have my Skinomi on.
Attached is how it looks like laying on top of my phone.
There IS a cutout for the sensor as you can see. However the camera is covered.

Are you sure you didn't put it on backwards? Weirdly enough that's what I was about to comment on, it does seem to mess with the proximity sensor, as the screen will remain black during calls.

Just cut out the corner with scissors before applying
Already done, just thought people should know though.
Omg you're right. I put it on backward. So embarrassing. Lol that cut out is for the camera.
Oh well, I'll just cut a hole for the sensors when I need to.

lol, I was actually wondering how you got it to stick that way, if I could have I would've kept it that way. It wouldn't bother the camera, at least not as much as it bothers the sensors.
yeah i was looking at it and my first thought was "but... the pull tab says "back" on it..."

$6 GLAStR Tempered Glass

http://youtu.be/q-0m4BBLVs8
I bought one for $9 but noticed that the seller on ebay has reduced the price to $5.87.
I'm not sure if it's fake, but I suspect most of these are manufactured in the same place.
The screen protector came in a plain brown box with no dust cloth or alcohol wipe, but I didn't pay $39 and those extras aren't worth that much upcharge.
The printed instructions on the packaging say, "GLAStR" but I suspect it could be fake. In any case, it works just as well as the real one and for $6-$9 I can replace it at any time and not be worried about the cost.
cool... easy install... link??? (i couldn't find it)

am i allowed to post direct ebay links?
look for tempered glass screen protector and sort by price going from lowest to highest. It should be a US based seller in San Francisco.

Sorry, I didn't post that part because I like to keep my videos short and to the point.
But to answer your concerns, it feels just like a regular screen without screen protectors.
That's the benefit of glass and the clarity is unmatched.
I hate sticky screen protectors like skinomi and xtreme guard and don't like the tackiness on those types.
Dry install ones like Spigen are what I usually used, but even those eventually start to show scratches and dont have complete clarity.
