ok is there a specific channel you are looking for or do you want to watch them all. If you trying to see them all then you may need a slingbox. As there is nothing giving you all the channels. Just some here and there.
i was watching Ghost lab and it's on Discovery Channel from TV Show Stream

Any TV players you use / suggest?

I've noticed on any Android phone I used, the ability to stream media over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to any supporting device.
Now, it would be awesome to have a TV device to which I can stream photos, videos and YouTube from my phone through Wi-Fi. Live screenshare would be nice too. Any idea what products are out there? Google searches do not seem to give me what I'm looking for.
Thanks

I have a Samsung phone and TV and I stream photos, movies etc from my phone to the TV via wifi. I use Allshare to do this.
hmm interesting however my Sony Bravia doesn't offer such a feature.
I continued searching and found this, http://www.lg.com/us/tv-accessories/lg-ST600-smart-tv-upgrader
Anyone has experience on it? Or anyone is using anything similar? I'm still scouting for a good yet not so expensive product. If I'm not mistaken I can use this box with my Android.
dlna player app
I have been using the Shareon video.
You can stream all your media from smartphone to DLNA supported TV directly.
Actually, I think it's better than Samsung Allshare Service, bcoz shareon video supports most of manufacturer.:good:

4oD Request?????

Hi everyone I hope there is a wizard on here that can help me!
My predicament is this,
I have a minix neo x5 which is a Android Tv Box which connects up to the tv through the HDMI Port i use this to watch catchup TV here in Britain.
Now BBC iPlayer & ITV player works a treat however the 4Od app https://play.google.com/store/apps/...e&utm_medium=organic&utm_term=4od+google+play does not!
The App installs and everything and all the data and programs loads up however when it's about to play the app states "Not supported for Viewing On televisions"
Is anyone able to mod this app to get it to work? Or know of a way of tricking the device into playing ie editing the build prop via a flashable cwm?
If someone could help I would be eternally grateful

Apps for Google Live Channels App

Hi Guys,
are their any other apps downloadable which can be used with the live channels app from google than:
Pluto TV - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tv.pluto.android
HDHomeRunTV - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.silicondust.mg.upnp
Zatoo - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zattoo.player
Cumulus TV - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.felkertech.n.cumulustv
The Weather Network -
InstaTV - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.keyitech.instatv.pro
I think the thread could also be a collection of all apps which support live channels.
ProgTV! If you have a Hauppage or similar card that connects an antenna into a computer, you can stream channels to your nexus player! Much cheaper than spending 200+ dollars on an HDHomerun
Hi sheikboy, prog TV isn't supporting the live channels app. I can't see any possibility to add it there.

I think this is a good idea since google does no tell you what is compatible with live channels.
Apps
The Weather Network, HDhomerun, pluto, and instaTV
The weather network and pluto are streaming and put channels directly into Live Channels and instaTV requires HDhomerun be installed.
Hope this helps. And looking forward to see if theres other apps out there.

I can share an example. I only have german tv stations in it and they are geoblocked, so it may not work for you:

Playlist import and xmltv EPG support is on the roadmap.
It forces close upon opening on my end!
Thx guys for your anticipation. The cumulus app doesn't work really well for me, but the app uses the live channels app and if the app is finished it could be a great app.
Hey, Cumulus dev here. I have fixed some stability issues and added playlist import capabilities. EPG support is sort of there but not fully integrated yet.
