I found this case to be interesting, anyone got experience with it? Is it worth the price?

From what I've read its one of the best cases you can buy, I don't use it because it makes your phone as big as a HTC G1/Dream. I do use the Case-mate Barely There chrome snap-on case and from what I have personally found out is that they make the highest quality cases that I have bought for my Nexus One.

I have it, I'm using it. I love it It's absolutely the best you can buy with the price, free shipping, good customer service. IMO, It doesn't significantly make your phone bigger or bulkier. It feels like a solid rock

I use this case as well as the new Otterbox Commuter case and they are both very good quality cases. I believe that the Otterbox offers a little more protection and feels better and is easier to pull out of your pocket but all in all, this is a good sturdy case! I do like the fact that you have different color options whereas the Otterbox does not yet...

I just got the Tough Case like 3 days ago. It is amazing! I don't think it makes the the phone that much larger, I actually like the texture and sturdiness of the case, its pretty smooth.

Had mine just over a week, love it. Good fit, good feel, free decent screen protector.

Tough Case, if you do a quick search I've put up a picture of my pink/black one.

case mate Tough Case is the best so far. i have two buddy's at work and they have different ones that cost them about 8 bucks ,and they ask me were to get it and i told them . ever since i had it i don't have any problem and trust me i recommended to every one...

I was in the market for some cases too for my wife who tends to just sort of abuse her phone (just throws the phone in her purse and cup holders) so I decided to get the tough case for both our phones and glad I did...its solid and well made. The holes match up perfectly and the silicone and abs are snug to each other.

lookin good crxtasi! when can i get my barely there?

I have a casemate gelli, it's pretty awesome. Very snug, minimal bulk, and looks great. Sure not as much protection as some other cases, but certainly increases the drop protection.

I've had this case since it was released for the N1 and love it....never have to carry my wallet around with me anymore

Well it should be here in a couple of days. I really need to get a case on my N1! And I like the added feature of the card holder, in this day and age all you need is a 20. Dollar bill I'd and debit/ credit card

Looks good. I prefer innocase 2 by seidio. Very happy with mine and well worth the money IMHO. it looks more streamline than the pics ive seen on this thread.

The problem with the barely there case is the lack of protection on the bottom and top of the phone. That is where I got 90% of the scratches on my g1.

I really like the shell holster combo from verizon. It has a built in kick stand, which I stick my right middle finger through and it helps balance the phone and I can use 1 hand and touch every part of the phone I need to, lol...y'all should check that 1 out.

I concur, the verizon store manager threw in one of these for me, and I really like it. I only wish it was a little less slippery.

Theres an Incipio case available on Verizons site. Its probably the best case out at the moment.

It's nice - very bulky though. My mom has it on her Charge.

I just got the Incipio double cover case and its very nice. Its not a snap on case so if it drops it will not come apart. Its a silicone inner shell and a hard soft touch shell on the outside.

The double cover is going back, there is no cutout for the hdmi port so you cant use it with the case on.

anyone considered an otterbox defender or commuter? their charge case isnt out yet but my buddy has one on his evo 4g and its extremely rugged and includes a holster

Yeah I'm waiting for otterbox to release their Charge cases. In the meantime I'm using one of the cheap gel cases from the Verizon store, but it slips off easily so not really a long-term solution.

I bought the incipio case and while there is no opening for hdmi, a dremel will fix that

TPU Case
I'm using the Samsung Droid Charge TPU case and I must say I'm impressed. It's a semi-hard/soft case and not flimsy like other rubber cases I've had.
My TPU case fits like a glove and easy to put on and take off.

Yeah I got it and like it. The commuter has two layers, one is gel and the outer one is a thin hard plastic.
It fits the Charge like a glove. There is a big open area for the HDMI port. The usb and headphone ports have a cover that you pop up to access.

I just got ghost armor put on my phone and can't be happier. Since all I am looking for is scratch protection and not to make the phone any larger - this is the perfect setup.
I got matte on the back and sides, andthe regularclear over the screen. This is so much better of a product than the zagg shields. Not only is the materialbetter, but it is cut to perfection so every little piece of the device is covered, even the buttons.
Also, the matte back and sides drastically improves the appearance of the phone. It looks like an aluminum unibody phone, rather than cheap shiny plastic.
Awesome. Best 40 dollars you can spend on this phone.
Oh, and if you go to one of their kiosks and get it rather than ordering it online they install it fir you, and they are very, very good at it.

I just had one in my mall right in front of the apple store. Go on their website, if they don't have anything there regarding where to find a kiosk give them a call - they are good at answering their phone.
I can post pictures tomorrow, but they probably wont show.much. you really can't tell anything is on it, but the matte back and.sides makes the phone look less plasticy.

I got the Otterbox commuter, it's great as all the otterboxes i've had are. It does add some bulk, but protects the phone very well with the 2 layer design. I'm not exactly gentle with my phone so I need the extra protection.
$26 shipped from an ebay dealer.

I'd like to see a commuter in person. I don't like the TPU much, it obscures the power and volume switches too much for my liking, and the charger dislodges really easily, but I bought it for a whopping 4 bucks on Amazon.
Might grab a cheapy silicone case in the meantime.

Fishbone or Trident Case???

I'm looks for a case that fits nice and snugly on the mytouch 4g slide, that also doesn't scratch.
Both the cases ( Fishbone phone protective cover and the Trident Aegis for the mt4gs ) seem really awesome.
Which ones better? Are there any issues with them?
I need to decide!

I personally don't like the Fishbone at all, but I also haven't used the Trident Ageis yet, although it seem pretty cool.

I have fishbone's, they are little hard to push out the keyboard but you get use to them in a couple days...other then that the front never falls off and I guess that's a win for me...although I had trident's on my myTouch 4g (NOT SLIDE) and they were great but i've ever used them because of price.

I have the fishbone and did not like it that much. It looks nice but overall it affects functionality of the phone specially the buttons. It makes the volume buttons more exposed causing accidental volume adjustments over the course of a day and the front case is very tight that it cause minor scratch on the keyboard. I just used it for a week and stop using it.

Plus mine has this weird scent that gives me a massive headache.

i am a Triden case user and fell satisfy with it, protects from every side... it makes kind of bulky but the protection is what i was looking for.... i came in many colours but i prefered in black god luck!

I like that the Trident case absorbs shock and has filters on it that block dust from getting into the speakers.
Count me as a happy customer, finding a case for the device was of primary concern for me, and the Trident is the closest thing i'll find to fitting the bill.
I don't like that the USB port is still exposed, but I suppose you can't win them all - it's literally my only complaint with the case.

Haha!! I completely agree with you on that. I was thinking since its a polycarbonate case I might be able to mod it by dyeing it with rit fabric dye and acetone. This should be able to give me a greater choice of colors which i may like over the few they have for this case.

As long as the dye doesnt rub off onto the phone lol

I just got the Trident case, it is awesome. I had one of those cheap rubberized snap on cases before, never really felt like my phone was protected. This one is definitely top of the line, plus it goes on and off really easy. Got it for 19.95 free shipping off ebay.

I've done this in the past, well not on cases but other polycarbonate plasics and it actually creates a solid permanent dye. It doesn't come off while wet or when cleaning it so i would feel safe to think it won't harm the phone. I would be using a full ZAGG invisibleSHIELD screen protector along with this (hopefully depending on fit) so i think i will be good to go.

Yep, is a very nice protective case. I switch between it and the TPU case. I like the holster too, I just wish I could find a side carrying case that is big enough to fit the skyrocket into while it has the active shell on it while I was at work. If I could find one, I'd probably just keep the active on it all of the time.

Appreciate the variety of pictures you posted. I've been debating the active case, but there are no local places that sell it, which makes it hard to drop that much cash on a case I've never actually seen. It definitely helps to have good pictures to reference.

I thought the seidio case was much better on my atrix than the Otterbox. Do you know if it's as bulky as the Defender case? I have the Defender but I'm a fan of seidio since the Atrix.

I have never owned an Otter Box case but looking at the their website I would probably compare it to the Commuter series.
I choose this one because of the kickstand.

I just got the active case on Monday. It is well built and fits the phone very nicely. My coworker has an Otterbox defender on his iPhone and it is bulkier than the active. The one thing I have found is that while it goes in and out of your pocket easily it always holds on to some lint. I got mine from eBay with free shipping for $23.

I just got this in the mail the other day. I had one for my captivate and loved it! I was stupid enough to be suckered into paying way too much for a case at AT&T... But I went ahead and bought this one online anyways, and its sexy! I have a white skyrocket, so I got the white case, and it's kind of pearly and still has the black kickstand and rubber, it looks awesome! I'd recommend this to anyone

I got this case yesterday love it. Protects the phone, it's thin all that nice stuff.
My parents want this as an iPhone equivalent now.

Got mine the other day too. I didn't even consider any other case company besides seidio. I love their cases that much. Never had a complaint about a case from them in the past and I dont forsee having one anytime soon.

I too got the Seidio Active + Holster. Very happy with it. Slim profile, and doesn't add much volume or weight. My only complaint is that the texture (which is quite pleasing to feel) is just a little too slick for my taste. However, I imagine that any "stickier" and it wouldn't slide in/out of a pocket easily. Very pleased over all. The holster is handy, especially since this phone is so much bigger than my old iPhone 3GS, and it doesnt fit into the shirt pocket of my scrubs easily. If i get a chance I'll post some pictures as well...

I have this combo as well. I started with the Pop! case that I got from AT&T. It was the best case IMO, but the rubber started to fray in less than a month. Then I tried the Seidio Surface combo. While this case was thin, it was too slick. The Active is a nice compromise between the other two cases. My only complaints about the active case are that the rubber is too grippy (it snags my jeans pockets and attracts lint like crazy) and the super soft rubber absorbs the vibration function of the phone and renders it almost useless.

I'm curious where everyone is buying this. Amazon have it for > $30.

Looks like they increased the price 65 cents. But this combo on the Seidio web site is $55, so not a bad deal...

I just got my seidio active from amazon. I like it so far except for the fact that it is a lint magnet and it is somewhat hard to take out of my pocket.

I just bought mine from seidios website. Although you might be able to get amazon prime and free 2 day shipping... But their website has a good selection of colors

[Review] Poetic Borderline (Bumper) Case

Hey guys.
Received my Poetic bumper case today and I'm really enjoying it. Currently I have 3 cases, the official bumper case, the rearth ringke and the poetic borderline (aka bumper).
So far I really like this case, and in a TL;DR version, I think I'm going to use this case over the other two. The reason I like this case it that it shows off the unique Nexus 4 backplate while still offering some degree of protection. You'll see in the photos below that there is a small, yet noticeable raise on the sides of the case to prevent the phone from coming into contact with any flat object. I think I'll be choosing this case over the official bumper because this bumper case a slimmer profile and adds less bulk. My first impression with the official case is that it made the phone harder to hold (for me personally).
The covers for the buttons work well and I enjoy the feel of the case overall. The price I got this for (right around $6) and the quality make this case feel like a total steal.

I just received mine yesterday, and today i realized it was uneven, it turns out there is a rip on the top left corner, i don't how it happened or what caused it, because i didn't drop it or anything. I contacted costumer service and waiting for a reply. But I really do like the look and feel of this case

The flash on my camera made the gray look lighter than it normally appears. I honestly don't mind it, and if you're in a financial position to be able to gamble $9 I would say try it out.

I already bought it, $9 isn't a problem. Just prefer the black/black color setup.
I've taken a look at numerous amounts of pictures. It looks good, just wish grey was black but we'll see how this turns out. Only because I want to show off the back

Got mine today. It really is very nice. I actually like it more than the official bumper. It's very nice, slimmer and doesn't have the double bezel like the official bumper. Also, it didn't lift up my best skins ever back protector or screen protector.

Just ordered my poetic bumper off ebay and now I'm looking to get a full body XO skin. Could anyone suggest either the regular XO cut or the case cut?

Does it make the phone less slippery? My other cases are not good for wireless charging

And in 2-4 weeks you'll all be signing a different tune when it starts peeling apart. It's a good case until then though. I had two that both starting falling apart so I got my money back and went with the official bumper.

That looks even bigger than Google's bumper. And I couldn't use one without some back protection. I love my Fosmon(?) TPU case.
