can someone post the stock 2.1 desire icons? i using a cooked version of paul's desire rom with the standard 2.1 messaging app (the timestamp issue got to be a pain in the ass on the htc messaging app). i would like to use better cut to swap the icon so it looks like the standard sense 2.1 messaging app instead of the green smiley face.
Ok, I have searched for a solution and can't find one...
I'm using desktop visualizer and have replaced the mail icon with no problem.
What I would like to do is make it so the new icon shows the unread mail count in a notification bubble like the original.
I know about smsunreadcount however I am using exchange so no go there.
Can I edit the xml to show the new icon?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I wish google would put a unread count bubble on the gmail icon..... smh @ them

You can have that...use smsunreadcount from the market.
Use desktop visualizer to replace icon for whatever you choose.
Unfortunately, they don't have that for unread exchange mail.
^ thanks.... ill give it a shot

i believe those are morphs...gotta be rooted to use metamorph
You could do this with either ADW Launcher or LauncherPro with some text based icons and you could probably make the clock/date with Minimalistic Text Widget.

thats launcher pro. with a custom dock, and the text icons, all of which you can find over at the launcherpro forums. http://www.launcherpro.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=11&sid=b0cec58ec5af26bd7c5fc02540519fd7
i know that clock widget, but can't remember the name.
I rooted my sensation with the hope of customizing my icons without using adw and Lpp. I love sense 3.0 I just want a little more customization.
Thanks
No i think.
Thanks for the feedback
I use a program called Folder Organizer to use custom icons on my non-rooted Sensation as I like Sense as well but don't like text below my icons nor do I like the original icons either.

Folder organizer.... so with that would I download other icon packs? Or how does that work?
This program or lighter version app organizer just has its own icon packs and also can rip icons from any soft or game
Hey guys,
I'm all stock everything. I like everything about sense except that wasted home dock/ launcher.
Instead of replacing my launcher or my ROM, is there any way that I can replace just the home dock? I'd love to have shortcuts to my favorite apps on a home dock instead of need shortcuts above it!
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Nope... Not that I know of. Only way to get dock icons is with an alternative launcher.

You could try ADW, same as CM7 uses. On my bar I have: Phone, Handcent SMS, APPS, Touch Calendar and Browser.
