Just wondering what I can do to hide all the games facebook spam in the facebook app. I use launcher pro and the widget is annoying to try to sift through all of my friends that play the facebook games.
If anybody knows how to get rid of that garbage please enlighten me lol. Thanks in advance!

Would love to know this as well. I have all that crap blocked on my Facebook but somehow it gets through the app.

I just wanted to share with you guys a little something else i just figured out
Basically, all i have to say is, I am awesome lol..
I relinked the twitter app to your twitter notifications, so that when you get a new twitter notification you can click on it and it will open the app right up!
(It was linked to twidroid, which is now shut down )
I can also change the action of the weather icon... Any suggestions people?
Here is the Twitter Fix package:
CWM2: http://www.mediafire.com/?py31x9p5052q5dk
CWM3: http://www.mediafire.com/?0fizt0tyfmoiamd
It flashes the services.jar file to fix the ticker notifications, and it flashes TickertapeHistory.apk to fix the actual app
Just Hit thanks
Found some other things out!
Any chance we could get Google+
Integration instead of MySpace?

Well, that would be a little out of my reach.. Maybe if Samsung opens up third party support for the ticker, then maybe someone could do that
But, i can change the visual voice mail icon in the missed notification screen to a google voice icon, then have it open it up when clicked?
you should upload this .zip for everyone
a button to open up google reader!

Thank you circa!
And I am going to upload a zip soon, with services.jar and tickertapehistory.apk in it xD I relinked twitter to both the ticker and the ticker app itself
added downloads... can someone make sure the packages work please?

Do you want a really brief rundown on what to do, so that you can do it yourself? Because i know you like this stuff, haha
Lol I would love that. Don't know what I'll be able to get to today though. I'll be driving a tractor all day

I was thinking it would be nice to have the calendar open up when you tap on the time

Hi. First of all, thanks to everyone on xda for... well, everything. I've been referencing this forum a lot tonight while learning how to root and flash my Continuum which seems to be long forgotten by either Samsung or Verizon.
This is probably the topic that most interests me though, as two of the apps I use the most on my phone are "incompatible" with the ticker (since they aren't one of the few apps deemed worthy of the ticker when it was created and then not officially updated).
Like circa881, I use twicca. I'm in no way knowledgeable on modding Android (or anything for that matter), so I don't know how to modify your files to do this myself.
The other app I want to bring up is Trillian. I've had lots of problems with the built-in IM app and have been using Trillian for quite a while. Is there any way that Trillian's notifications can be displayed on the ticker?
This is a question, and possibly an FYI. Is this update compatible with the EC03 ROM put out by pastorbennett? I attempted to apply this twitter fix and after rebooting I got stuck in the Samsung logo loop. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Peace,
Ray

Sweet, thanks a lot!
Hey Blazer, I know your pretty busy but, I was curious if you've had any luck with the EC07 fix for this? I'm puzzled why this feature is interchangeable with any facebook app but not twitter. Is it a filename issue or something?
Peace,
Ray
Is there a way to sort pics in the gallery alphabetically instead of by date?

Download quick pic from the market. It's a great replacement for gallery. It loads super fast, lets you hide folders, and lets you sort by name or date.
Not to mention it's free.

Been using the phone for a couple days. The weather widget from "Android weather widget and clock" and tunein radio and some other apps seem to be incompatible with this phone. I tried them all on 2 phones and the result was the same.
For example the weather widget never updates even though when I launch the app it does update but the widget remains static. Also Tunein radio widget is not responding to any touches and doesn't update as well.
Anyone else having similar issues?

I should have mentioned that I'm not rooted. The phone is still stock.
ITs weird because it's the same on both phones. Can anyone try Tunein for example and check if the widget is responsive.
I recently installed the premium app. I noticed I wasn't getting any in-app notifications to the threads I'm subscribed to. Under the @notifications tab, the notifications show, but these don't show up in the notification bar. I also use Dash Clock. They don't show up on the lock screen.
Notifications work fine with the free app, though. Can anyone advise?

I`ve had to use the TapaTalk app to get working Notifications. I`ve had the Premium XDA App for several years now. But Have always had NO or DELAYED notifications.
There is a thread for these issues here:
