[REQ] [APP] Runescape App for Android/Nexus One

Hey guys,
With the amazing specs of the Nexus One, and the JIT compiler of Froyo, I was wondering if there was some way that the open source client for Runescape could be ported to Android. I know, Runescape isn't that great of a game, and i agree. I would definitely play it on the go. Everyone could enjoy a multi million MMORPG on the go, that's fully developed. I believe it could be perfect for Androids. Thanks in advance.

It could be possible, seeing as it's Java powered. I'm not much of a developer though, so I can't say for sure.

im intrested to and with tegra2 hummingbird etc this should run pretty smooth if not seamless.
i have the nexus S/nexus one and i have minor development skills so ill chip in any way i possibly can.

Would also love to see monkeyball ported to android I loved that game.

It looks like this thread has been stale for a while, has there been any progress?

I don't know but I would like to see this happen so I posted the link to this thread on the main android games thread so more people will see it.

game client converstion
not to rain on your guys parade or anything, but even if we were able to get the Game Client converted, that doesnt have anything to do with playing the game. The game client is something you download so you dont have to use your internet browser to play the game. thats all it does, you arent "downloading" the game or source for it
But on the bright side, i have been looking into how to play rs on your phone without the need for remote desktop

btw if you wanted to, you could do an emulator until the game does get ported over =P about as close as we can get for now

Could anyone develop this? i would be very interested to use it or buy it? There are lots of old games that i would like to play on it.

Emulator Atari Lynx is exists. It`s called "aLynx" (search in Google: "aLynx for Android")

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has seen this game on Google Play, but I figured I'd bring it to all y'all attention. Just a shame it's not out in English yet! It will be soon though and I don't quite know why but I'm kinda excited for it

Incompatible due to region restrictions. If you use Market enabler and set it to Docomo it will let you see it and buy it

I'm geeked. Loved the first, and the trailer for the second even looks good enough to satisfy the generic lot of graphic whores that say every 2D RPG looks like RPG Maker.

I´m pretty sure, i´m not the only one who was waiting for this game.
It´s now available on play store, but it´s not available for my country.
Does anyone know, when the game "The Simpsons Springfield" will reach e.g. Germany or Austria?
Maybe anyone has the app already and is able to upload it somewhere?
As it is freeware, i don´t think it will be warez or illegal. Am i right?
Just to know which game i mean, here is the link:

It's crapware, years behind iOS version. I recommend that you wait for availability for your country/device. You are not loosing anything

Where did you get that information? Can you tell a little bit more?
Are there less functions? Different gameplay?

you can get it work in other countrys too.
You can use marketenabler to change your reagion at your play store to netherlands.
Then you can download game and play it.
I am from finland and game works fine.
It is like beta you can't visit other towns and you don't need origin account. But you can play story just well.

Works real fine, just like the version for apple devices. Origin function from EA is not included yet, but all other stuff is perfect.
By the way, no lags like on iPad, iPhone.

Got it to download on my N7 in the UK using Market Enabler. I had to change my store to Au Telstra.

Hey guys, found a site which seems like a paradise for every mobile gamer. Dreamcast & GameCube emulators for android with XperiaPlay support. Must say i couldn't download anything from there though. Does anyone know about this?? and sorry if it were already posted here but i couldn't find anything. Is it really or just big SH*T.

Looks and sounds fake . Most site's that link to hosting sites with surveys are fake and promises great rewards for filling them in (emulators in this case). I have searched the web with the names of the emulators mentioned and can't find any information regarding them.
The only emulator that intrigued me into looking into this was the Dreamcast as the GameCube emu is definitely fake. Dolphin is the leading GC/WII emulator out to date and the emulator on the market hardly works at present on any mobile.
Oh well one day DrK will release NullDCE officially and with better powerful devices Dolphin will work too.

If yo ask me its bumpkiss. Any site that asks you to fill out a survey or something I avoid like the plague as its, not always, typically leaves junk on your computer.

oh yay another one of these threads... clearly fake and so are the 3ds emulators and Wii u, 360 and ps3 emulators.
