Hi guy. I released on the Android Market the AsPhone Application that lets you to use H3G SkypePhone option. It supports all functions of the official iskoot application but it does not drain your battery
Chat function is in beta testing and I will release it in next weeks.
It is fully tested with H3G Italy (because I'm italian), but it supports all H3G carrier so it functions in Australia, Austria, Denmark,HonkKong,Ireland,Italy,United Kingdom,Sweden.
Please note that it function only on H3G Network

You can receive call from all your skype contact. To do that you have to sign-in in my application with you skype username e password.
To change your status (Online, do not disturb, away etc) click on the name on the left top

I've to see log because I've not an x10.i can send you a modded version with log enabled.send me your email in PM.I done all work alone and I've tested only with emulator and with my legend.Try to logoff and the relogin. Try also to reboot, after a logout. Let me know

sisi era un problema forse dovuto alla password sbagliata ora sto facendo delle prove... ci mette molto a scaricare i contatti anche oltre 5 minuti, e al logout mi da interruzzione imprevista applicazione
stesso accade premendo il pulsante fisico back (questo tipo di applicazione dovrebbe rimanere sempre aperta mentre sembra si killi quando si preme back)
comunque ottima app gran bel lavoro !!!

Each devices is different so is possible that with x10 you can have some issue...if you will have other contact me. have you upgradet asphone?with 1.0.1.2 I fixed problem of wrong password
purtroppo sono tutti diversi i telefoni e può succedere che si siano problemi...se continui ad averne contattami.hai aggiornato alla 1.0.1.2?li ho risolto il problema della password errata

si 1.0.1.2, l'errore di applicazione chissenefrega... magari è un problema relativo a donut piuttosto che al telefono, io personalmente risolverei la chiusura della app tramite tasto back e cone già dicevi qualche post fa la questione del caricamento lento della lista, ma già così è abbastanza usabile

it is possible.it is fully working from 2.0 to 2.2, but with 1.6 it could be some problem.I will try to improove that, but I prefere to implement first chat functions. Do you agree?

It is avalaible in the market only in 8 country (where there is an H3G carrier ) and for android 1.6 up 2.2 . Appbrain has removed from their archive. I mailed them but they didn't answer to me.

maibe the "b" is for blue and the "g" for green? or what else?
for you knowledge mai i use this rom for sending my touch to service? or i have to find the "Versione rom: 1.11.408.1b.ita"?

il problema sta nel sapere se si può mettere la Green version in un Elf Black nel caso si dovesse mandare in assistenza!

Ragazzi, se vi serve, io ho ancora la ROM 1.11.408.1B. L'ho presa dall'FTP di XDA-Developers prima che le cancellassero.
L'ho usata circa 3 mesi fa per rimandare il palmare in assistenza. Aveva il display difettoso, non so se hanno controllato il software...comunque me l'hanno riparato in garanzia senza problemi

a parte che è stato un casino scaricarla dal link, i simboli con i gattini, pittoresco, comunque ho la rom, come faccio a usarla?
1 copio solo ROMUpdateUtility.exe nella cartella della rom?
2 devo riavviare il cellu in bootloader mode Reset + Camera button?
3 c'è una procedura best practice?

la basic è iperlight in fatto di ram occupata...ripulita dai soliti reg e lnk superflui in avvio...
unico problema sono gli sms.
li ho ripristinato con pimbackup cosa che ho sempre fatto con successo...tranne che con questa rom, li vedo solo con il manila?!?!?!?!?
e se mi arriva un nuovo sms non ne so nulla se non passando al tab del manila...
qualcuno ha avuto il mio stesso problema?

a me funziona tutto normalmente.. ho fatto il ripristino con pim backup ed è tutto ok.

yes it's possible, all you need is an official or dumped Dutch ROM and the
iolite official ROM.. There are some tutorial that explain howto translate a ROM.
search in the wiki..

io uso la 1.65.24.36 (niki) e mi trovo benissimo, anche la 1.70.19.09 (kaiser) dovrebbe andare bene... le trovi qui

problema sms
Uso la ROM basic e mi vengono tranquillamente notificati i nuovi sms in arrivo e li leggo tranquilamente sia da manila che dall'applicazione messaggi.
Unica cosa non vedo i messaggi inviati da me perchè manca la cartella POSTA INVIATA in sms, per il resto nessun problema
ciao shifu,hai fatto veramente una rom spettacolare ma il problema degli sms l'ho riscontrato sia con la ver.basic che con la plus,non c'e la cartella dei messaggi inviati e non ho usato nessun pim backup,non avendone avuto necessita; altra cosa riscontrata bisogna aggiungere il mittente del mess andando a ricercarlo con aggiungi mittente e non piu dal menu tendina inserendo solamente l'iniziale della lettera corrispondente al contatto.e per ultimo non riesco ad eliminare i contatti doppi nemmeno con il kaisersimfix,ne aprofitto per ringraziarti dell'ottimo lavoro ke hai fatto e veramente stupefacente grz

con touchflo disattivato e riavviate, funzionerà tutto
EDIT Per risolvere il problema delle cartelle mancanti negli SMS dovrebbe essere sufficiente seguire le istruzioni di tutto il post che ho linkato sopra, avevano lo stesso problema in un altra rom
PS Quest'ultima parte (quella delle cartelle) non l'ho testata ancora quindi non so dirvi se ci sono problemi

La versione 3G comprende telefono con videochiamata, non ha nessuna tastiera aggiuntiva quindi le lettere accentate funzionano.
La versione 2G non ha la videochiamata e comprende la tastiera HTC quindi le lettere accentate NON funzionano.
Per regolare il volume di sistema basta premere il pulsante 6 (quello della selezione vocale). Durante una chiamata invece basta girare la rotella come sempre.
Per richiamare il menu SIP (tastiera) tenere premuto il tasto 6 (solo nella versione 2G)
Testata con Radio 1.65.24.36 ed HardPSL 3.29

battery drain is normal for me.. (anzi )
gli 85 mega sono stati una mia "mancanza". Dopo aver cucinato la v17 naked senza patch non mi sono ricordato di rimetterla
Comunque va benissimo anche senza (ari-anzi )

qui trovi il dialer
per aggiungere una citta' devi modificare il file "HH_0410_WeatherCities.xml". Lo trovi nella cartella windows. Praticamente devi aggiungere la riga con le info della tua citta'..

Scusa ma ho furmulato male la domanda.
Intendevo dire che siccome il file "HH_0410_WeatherCities.xml" è bloccato in rom, immaginavo che fosse stato duplicato ed editabile da qualche altra parte.

Ho installato il cab per il dialer Opal, ma è in inglese. Poco male, comunque
Il problema è che mancano alcune scritte sui tasti, come ad esempio la fine chiamata.
Qualche soluzione?

si scusa, manca un file... estrai e copia in windows
riguardo alla patch meteo devi copiarti il file xml sul pc, lo modifichi (magari tieniti l'originale) e poi lo copi di nuovo in windows usando total commander che ti permette di sovrascrivere

Ho provato a disabilitare lo spegnimento dello schermo durante una chiamata, tramite Advance Config, nella sezione Phone, ma non è stato possibile. .
Purtroppo l'impostazione manca. Molto strano.
E' la prima volta che mi capita tra tutte le ROM che ho montato sul Kaiserino.
Puoi consigliarmi qualche soluzione?

Did you upgrade correctly to stock v5? Or using keys? then, did you enable full animations in settings>display?

I used the one in the 2.3.3 root thread, i don't know witch version it is.. I've already enabled full animations, yes.. I don't understand what do you mean with "using keys"...
EDIT: we cumpà, possiamo anche parlare in italiano se vuoi!
Intendevo usando il programma samsung keys!
Dunque, il mio consiglio è di scaricare dal sito overcome la base stock v5, che è la migliore per adesso al di fuori di samsung keys e installarla con odin. Fatto questo seguire le istruzioni per flashare la ultima overcome v7. Stai pur certo che così risolverai qualsiasi tuo problema!
P.s. Stai tranquillo che la overcome è semplicemente una stock (identica) ma con un pò di correzioni e migliorie che le permettono di andare molto più veloce!
Per qualsiasi altra cosa chiedimi pure, e ricordati il thanks button se ti sono d'aiuto

Innanzitutto ti ringrazio per la dritta, avevo già provato ieri la overcome e devo dire che è abbastanza ben fatta (non mi piacciono molto le icone della status bar in alto ma vabbè...), però non ho notato dei veri miglioramenti prestazionali, cosa che invece ho visto con la miui (che però ho un grosso problema con il wifi: il 90% delle volte non mi si collega, e in automatico, cioè semplicemente accendendo il wifi, la percentuale sale al 99%, e non c'è verso di vedere il livello di carica della batteria in alto, rimane sempre l'icona con il punto di domanda dentro.. ti sfrutto anche per questo, se sai come risolverli, ho installato la 1.10.28), quindi non so veramente che fare.. Tu che rom mi consigli, che possa far girare bene go launcher ex con effetti di transizione in 3d, ma che sia stabile, o quantomeno senza bug di questo tipo? Grazie mille!
Dunque, la miui per adesso ha ancora dei problemi, principalmente dovuti al kernel...quindi per adesso decisamente te la sconsiglio. come puoi notare sto cercando di aiutare xavier contattando il nexus lab e miuiandroid.com. Per quanto riguarda la overcome, si quelle icone sono orribili, ma c'è la possibilità di installare dei temi carini, tipo il nuovo ics, che risolvono il problema . Cosa consigliarti...non è facile io ora sto usando overcome con tema ics, perchè ho deciso di rimanere sul più stabile possibile fino a che riusciamo a sistemare la miui. Però se vuoi provare cosa vuol dire la vera velocità DEVI provare la boca 2.3.7! esteticamente è orribile, quindi appena flashata rischi di spaventarti, ma installa go launcher ex e un qualsiasi tema per cm7 e risolvi il problema! È la più veloce, anche per gli effetti 3d, e offre delle possibilità di personalizzazione uniche. Se hai voglia di sperimentare, provala!!

Mi incuriosiva questa "boca", anche se per milanisti come me evoca brutti ricordi però ho visto che è stato cancellato il progetto... non vorrei mai flashare una cosa che poi non verrà nemmeno più seguita... è perfettamente stabile? ho visto che ha il kernel della cyanogenmod, infatti mi incuriosiva molto anche per questo perché su altri smartphone ho visto che la cyano è qualcosa di allucinante, ma sul tab mio proprio non vuole partire (parlo della beta che si trova sempre qui su xda).. me la consigli comunque la boca, anche se appunto è stato fermato il progetto?

Perché la miui aveva anche questo problema, non mi importava i temi, dovevo ogni volta andare da archivio e abilitarli da lì, quindi senza la possibilità di avere per esempio le icone di uno e la lockscreen di un altro... Ma secondo te se metto la miui un pochino meno "beta", quindi tipo la 1.9.2 o la 1.9.9 (che sono direttamente sul sito miui proprio per il sgt) questi problemi ci sono comunque, o sono dovuti all'ultimissima versione, magari non perfettamente compatibile con il tabbone?

Il progetto Boca non è che sia stato cancellato, è solo fermo perchè a Diz s'è rotto il pc e non ha abbastanza pecunia per comprarne uno nuovo per adesso...quindi per un pò non riuscirà a fare le sue magie col kernel. Io ti dico di provarla, come problemi ha solo la registrazione video (problema di tutte le cm7 ahimè) che va solo usando Videocam illusion e l'estetica di base, che è oscena (ma fin troppo facilmente modificabile: scariche go launcher ex e un qualsiasi tema per cm7 dal market, per esempio eyecandy e li applichi con l'app theme chooser che c'è già preinstallata in boca). Per quanto riguarda la miui 1.9.9, intendi quella presente sul sito Miui.us? Se è quella mi spiace dirti che non parte neanche, il kernel non la fa nemmeno avviare e quelli di miui.us non sanno nemmeno come risolvere il problema! Quindi ti consiglio di aspettare che io e xavier sistemiamo la sua...per la quale peraltro grantisce e garantirà aggiornamenti settimanali.
Per quanto riguarda i temi overcome, vai nella sezione galaxy tab themes and apps e scarica per esempio l'ultimo di khalpowers, quello di ice cream. È semplicemente uno zip da flashare via recovery, ovviamente facendo prima un wipe di cache e dalvik cache e ti consiglio anche dopo.

Per i temi ti ringrazio, ma guardando tutta la discussione della overcome, ho notato che quasi tutti lamentano problemi col market, alcuni col touchscreen, etc., quindi, non portando quasi alcuna vera miglioria prestazionale (i tweak ce li attivo anke con la root della 2.3.3 stock, sempre se sono gli stessi), preferisco non avere l'animazione di lock ma avere un sistema serio e stabile...

Certo che ho letto quel post quello della batteria era solo un problema di framework, risolto con il fix che tu hai visto e che sarà già incluso nella prossima versione. Il wifi funziona, ma solo con le reti senza protezione alcuna. Non funziona invece del tutto il tethering wi-fi. Inoltre il launcher ha svariati problemi, legati agli widget di dimensioni sballate e ad alcuni fc veramente fastidiosi, per cui io avevo trovato una soluzione ma che, mistero, non funziona per tutti...Come ti ho detto, la miui ha ancora dei problemi, e secondo me non è adatta all'uso quotidiano per adesso. Con overcome non ho mai avuto problemi di nessun genere...quelli che vedi sono dei pirla che cambiano la densità dello schermo...peccato che così facendo il market li scambi per altri dispositivi (smartphone e non tablet) così molte applicazioni non te le fa visualizzare. Gli errori col touchscreen sono dovuti ad installazioni scorrette senza effettuare i giusti wipe. Comunque prima di installare qualsiasi rom è fondamentale mettere prima la overcome, semplicemente perchè partiziona il sistema in Ext4, unico formato su cui funzionano tutte le altre rom, miui compresa. Su Boca va tutto. Provala intanto che aspetti una Miui definitiva. Io l'ho tenuta per un paio di mesi e personalizzata fino alla morte. Giusto una chicca, con Oc a 1.4ghz punteggio quadrant 3300

Prova setta setcpu a 1.4 e vedrai . Io Boca l'ho tolta ma solo per provare la nuova overcome (ebbene sì, le provo tutte le rom che escono ).

Nel primo messaggio del topic di Boca, clicca sulla scritta grande MAGRATHEA. Scarica la 2.3.7 test3. La trovi subito sul suo sito (magrathea per l'appunto). Ripeto comunque, non farti spaventare dall'estetica!! Overclockala e fai un quadrant prima di valutarla

Ora ho messo la stock gingerv5 con odin, ho messo la root sempre tramite odin mettendo CF-Root-TAB7_XX_OXA_JQ1-v3.3-CWM3RFS.tar, poi ho buttato su la overcome 001002-Overcome_7_Series_v4.0.0_Wipe.zip tramite install zip da recovery, basta che ripeto quest'ultimo passaggio però con il file BOCA237_test3.zip? Devo fare wipe di tutto prima e/o dopo?

Now that you are on overcome, it's the simplest thing ever. Go in CWR, wipe everything and flash boca zip. Then rewipe everything and reboot. Once rebooted just reboot again (just after entering the Pin code) to complete the installation.
Then of course you are not going to brick your tab @1.4ghz...I'm using that OC for 6 months!
