Hi Themers,
www.teamdefuse.com/rom/Themers.rar
those are the files needed to create themes for Fission 1.1. Both DX and D2 files are in the package. Some files are shared between the two and some are not. You should be able to figure it out by the way the package is broken down.
Please only use these files as they are unique to Fission ROM.
Thanks!

I'd like to know what operations to complete to create an update.zip that users can flash for themes I'd love to design. I'd also love to know how to make an update.zip that ONLY changes the lockscreen to clear. Any information or threads yall can point me to? Thanks in advance for your help.
the only way to copy files into an apk without replacing anything else within it would be through metamorph or flipz's kitchen.
At least as far as I know, I'm working on going the kitchen route. Flipz and I can setup theme updates,
when users get their kitchen update the themes will download into their directory.
hi all where can i find the files to make a theme for my hd2 what files do i need to edit to make a theme
ANYONE PLEASE list them so i can extract them....i have a few theme ideas ready to get started
first get a cab editor, i use wince cab manager - here:
http://www.ocpsoftware.com/
then take one of the themes and extract the files from it
So i dled some themes that are cab files and every time i go into astro and click the cab, it says that "file 001 cannot be found"
any help?
I would guess that you downloaded a theme made for a windows mobile phone. Only themes that have been made for the Droid Incredible will work on the Droid Incredible. They usually are packaged as a .zip file. Also, some only work with specific roms, so if you are still running the stock rom, then make sure to read through each theme's thread to see which rom it will work for. If you have any further questions, feel free to pm me and I'll do my best to help.
.cab is a Windows archive format. Does Android even support that format?
thats for windows android uses .apk files
Hi all,
I'm using this rom ZaSa_4chacha_GB1.54_v2.0 (1.54.401.2) and I want to use UOT kitchen to modify theme.
But I don't know which framework-res.apk and systemUI.apk use.
Can someone help me ?
Thanks
Well, nobody inspired ?
I'll try to be more clear and give more explanations.
I used files extract from the 1.33 RUU to create my theme. First question, I don't know if I'm right...
Then I've downloaded the UOT files and flash it. When I reboot my phone, I've got a problem with com.android.phone. It crashed, so I can do nothing.
I don't know if my files are good, or if I have the correct settings on UOT kitchen. (Suche like edify or amend script)
The problem is here:
I'm using this rom ZaSa_4chacha_GB1.54_v2.0 (1.54.401.2).

Can you see now where the problem occurs?
If you want to use UOT then you must use the files from ZaSa, as you have flashed 1.33 files over the 1.54 version.
It's exactly the same as you did with the 1.33 files. In case you are having issues, use Root Explorer, mount it as R/W and browse the files on your phone then copy-paste them to your SD card from the app.
Well, I used the 1.33 files because I've read somewhere that I should use "proper file". I was thinking it means from stock rom whereas it means from my rom.
I've made a try with the files extract from Zasa rom, but I've got a SHTF files.
Should I used the com.htc.resources files ? On UOT site they explain that's for rom with sense, but Zasa 1.54 v2.0 is provide without sense whereas this file exist in the rom. Not sure my explanations are clear... Very sorry for my english.
Thanks for your help!
It's possible that even if ZaSa comes without Sense (since it's still a stock rom though) those files are being used anyway. Give it a try with the files suggested by UOT for the Sense rom.
I've tried with and without the recommended file for sense rom, I've always SHTF files!

Hi ive seen some things on making miui themes but they require having the sdk and all these things that i think only work on pc and im on mac. Im a professional graphic designer of over 10 years and would like to start contributing to the theming community. Can anyone provide a zip with all of the image files that would be extracted so i could edit them in photoshop to make my own themes and then get them to someone to recompile everything? Im using miui V4 on my g2x so the files for version 4 would be great as ill probably stay on it waiting for the rest of the cm9/cm10 issues with drivers to finally be resolved.
Thanks in advance if anyone can help out.
Ive done this before.

Download a full theme from the miui themes app. It saves to a folder on your sd card (miui/). Keep a copy of the original unzipped theme file as you will need it later. Unzip the theme file. In there you will find a bunch of system apps. Each of these can be unzipped. Then look for a folder in each one called res. in there you will find all the images you are looking for. It's important that you keep the image file names the same and in their respective res folders. Once you have finished changing all the images you want it's time to copy the images back into the original unzipped theme file. Message me when you get to this point.
