[ROM] HTC Sense and Nexus Launcher with Optional Live Wallpapers - Uploaded 19/05/10

HTC Legend Rom with Sense/Nexus and Livewallpapers 2.1
So Basically I was creating a Rom similar to that of DelsaDj. It consisted of KingLegend2G1 Rom and Vega v3 3d Kernel. Mine included and updated Rosie.apk edited by me so the page indicator worked and it also includes the overclock hack with a few apps.
So when I flashed the Rom I noticed the errors that were minor for example when going into the add widgets on sense it didn't view any of the 4 sections but when you enter it, it's fine. Also when clicking an app it goes red instead of green.
I tried to change these by downloading the desire rom for nexus one and the Rosie.apk from that which I installed had wonderful effects. I had the option when pressing home twice not only between home and htc sense but also nexus launcher. This is the thing where when you first enter a rom, you can set it to remember the home screnn and you can either choose home or htc sense.
The weird thing is that they both remain open and set up and I can swith between them. I searched videos and the nexus seems complete like a rom. I have had them both open with live wallpapers and the thing is fast and battery is very good as long as you turn wifi of when not needed.
I know this because the battery on my G1 is standard and on other roms went in 2-3 hours but can last a day on full charge with this rom.
The apps work great for example I have installed Speed Forge 3d and it works. I have also tested others like HomeBattle 3d which is one of the most memory consuming games and works.
Weather Animations work as well and music plays fine. With yxflash all .avi extensions work flawlessly. The lockscreen is sense only. The Rom is 2.1 Eclair as well.
What does not Work:
Bluetooth
Camera (In my case because I think mine is phsically broken)
Steps:
1) Install My Rom
2) Install OverClock Patch (Provided)
Hopefully now you will have same results as me.

Well, I guess the first step is to realize you have a problem. Steps 2 and 3 I'm not sure of.

Upload the ROM good sir, and i will give you 5...no 10 Internets*.
*internets may not be included and may infact be taken away.

[THEME][CM7-RC3] PinkPower --- 03/28/2011

I feel this needs it's own thread because it is a joint venture between MrDSL and myself. He did most of the work and put most of the effort into it and I just decided to change a few things and clean some of the APKs up. This theme is mainly for all the females out there who want to pimp out their EVOs so we don't expect there to be a ton of interest but we created it none the less. If you are a dude and like pink, great! You can flash it to. This theme will be updated occasionally for the newest nightly or RC but not every night. If you need something specific let me know. This zip is now signed and compatable with latest ClockworkMOD Recovery. I also removed most of the Google apps from the theme. They update all the time anyway. There were a few modifications to the framework and systemui that will be slightly different from the pics below as well. MrDSL and t3project happily present PinkPower !!!!
UPDATE: For anyone who flashes this and nothing changes follow the steps below. This is another minor problem found with the Edify scripting and recoveries.
1. reboot into recovery
2. manually mount /system and /data from recovery menu
3. flash THEME file

well, i can but no. not really. i don't have the time to decompile/edit each png for the theme but i can probably make one specific to your phone as long as it runs CM 7 if you dont have an evo.

do you have an evo? and if so i take it you're running n30?

yes sir EVO FTW! and just flashed 30 before the theme and was getting scripting no longer supported errors. Even after toggling script asserts.

Install widget locker, put zip in android/data /widgetlocker/themes then chose it when picking custom slider

sorry about the stupid question, but since Euro Tab doesn't have a relying cwm yet (it seems the Euro Tab Bootstrap app doesn't really work) is it possible to flash this using other methods (Odin, Heimdall ?)

I have a euro tab and the bootstrap app from the market worked fine, I guess you can push the apk in, other than that I don't know

looks very nice any other way to install this for those of us that do not have CWR (i have JMI and still not one available) or dont want to download bootstrap as there are a lot of negative comments and do not feel like reflashing JMI and restoring tab?
EDIT: ok so i decided to go ahead and install the international bootstrap, it installed it did its backup and all but the thing is that when i boot into recovery and try to install the.zip it is not listed anywhere, any suggestions?

that's because you're using roto rom according to your signature. only modaco or overcome have them.

Theme is honeycomb style theme! It works on Sky ics speed and Stock. I am running 7.4version so idk if it will run on other too, give it try and do nandroid before flashing. Let me know how it goes. This is work in progress! Suggestions are welcome, no demands and keep in mind that i m learning.
After installing theme.zip You will need to manually push apps using root explorer. Download both zip file. Unzip the app.zip file!

Well i changed title after testing myself. SO when you read it, it only said speed

Ahhh that makes sense. Im liking it till now.
I have used to it for few hours. One thing I came across was that the search history is completely black. I dont know if its only a problem with mine. For example, when i use google maps and I want to look at my search history, I touch the search bar on top and the drop down box is black and unreadable. Also noticed it on market.
Hope that might help. Its not really a problem anyway. The Theme is really good otherwise.

I will try to fix the search directory. Thank you for response!

I've posted in a few sections and it seems to get burried, and I don't mean to spam, but would like to start a legit thread as I have a feeling lots and lots of users would really like this.
I am looking for someone to theme just the Notification Bar/Menu to look like this FOR THE ICS LEAK:

NOT looking for any other changes, hoping this makes things simple, and hopefully a quick mod.

something is wrong with writing in the root directory directly fron phone, use ADB if you can?

still dont know what 14 bar looks like, but I think id rather keep it seperate, but compatable is great

I also would really love this. Blue icons, 14 toggle mod (if possible), and no ATT logo.

Changing the system.ui is easy enough. If you can get me the zip file I can do it for you. But idk about the 14 toggle. I think you have to mess with xml's for that and I just did a fresh install of windows so I haven't re-downloaded the necessary tools yet lol.

Yes, did you follow the directions explicitely? Worked perfect for me first try.

actually i installed this as well and got a system framework error and it just wouldnt load the menu bar at the top as well..any thoughts?

For help I'd post in the guys thread, as he is probably the only one who can really help you, did you clear cache and dalvik and restore permissions after flashing?

Anyone got this fixed that borked their notification bar as well? I posted on the thread for the dev, but also wanted to ask here in case someone who has a Skyrocket can assist since all the T-Mo folks seem to have it working just fine.... followed the instructions to a T!
EDIT - Turns out the deodexed ROM I was using wasn't deodexed and killed my notification bar.... I flashed a true deodexed ROM and then this, works great!!!
