No, because a theme replaces entire programs (or APKs) on your phone. These programs control various functions, and although the architecture is nearly identical, there are differences "under the hood" that will cause force-closes.
If there's something you like, you can always make a request for someone to port a specific theme.
Without trying to take over the thread, it would be great if someone could port over Manup's Prodigal Sun theme form the G1. That theme has everything. I know it will work with the Hero if you use Open Home, but I like the Hero features and Open Home turns the Hero into a G1. Thanks.

I tried this before we had our own sub-forum. When I first got my hero and thought heros were heros. Your not gonna have a good time. So from then on I ALWAYS do a nandroid backup before flashing anything.
The black sense looks cool but boot loops are not. Lol

Hi there,
I will out myself as a newb since I only got my phone about a week ago (first windows mobile device I own), but I immediate delved into the topics, got a HSPL and Millskis Max sense Rom on it. Now I am working on the appearance.
I was wondering if there are any other big System Shock 1/2 fans out there. I would love to build a Theme on this for Max Sense version.
I am obviously grabbing stuff from what other people did at the moment, which includes:
BiGnAdAd MaxSense Dusk Theme (green)
Millski Max Sense 1.02
I would like to now start building a theme for the SystemShock series, and start replacing icons and stuff to fit the theme. I have added some screenshots what it looks like right now.
Anyway...if someone can point me to right direction to get a theme built for Max Sense (lotta information spread out and am working through it slowly), maybe there is some kinda guide out there to get me started, I would very much appreciate it.
My thanks and salutation to all the amazing guys doing work here (special the HSPL dev guys, Millski and BiGnAdAd...will be donating soon for the hard work once I get everything running stable) and thanks in advance for any help.

So as we all love the roms in this forum I stumble upon this rom set. I would like to see these ported to our Dinc phones as I think the themes absolutely kick ass. I like them both however I would love to see the Bluetopia ported. Here is the link to check out what I am talking about. I fsomeone can do this a considerable donation would be coming from myself. Although I am sure donations would come from many on this one.

Porting the rom would be ridiculous, especially considering some of it is broken and would be too much work making it functional for the incredible. If it is just the theme you want, that's easy to pull, but I'm downloading it right now to take a look at it.

Whether it is just ported over as a theme to be flashed/metamorphed or its "cooked" into a rom, it is the same. a flashable theme is much more convenient, since you are only replacing files in your current system, as opposed to wiping and starting over just to gain different aesthetics in the same exact rom, and having to go through the annoying process of setting back up again for basically nothing. Right now, I am about to try it on SR 3.3.3 and see how it goes, then in Desire Z rom. If all goes well, I'll post it in the themes section and let you know, otherwise I will post failure here and let you know if it isn't working lol.
Well for the most part, in SR 3.3.3 it seemed to work. Everything functioned and almost all of the theme elements were there. But it was definitely incomplete. For one, most incredible roms incorporate smooth sense icons. The theme does not have this since it is from the desire, so that creates an issue because only 5 of the 100 battery icons were themed lol. same with the sync icon. For some reason the signal bars did not change even though I ported the com.htc.resources also. I think a couple system apps did not theme (People app for sure, not sure what others) and the dockbar was espresso style but did not have the themes color. I'm sure there were other missing elements but as it stands, this will become too much work for me to correct, especially since more people will want it on different roms, which means porting and troubleshooting those as well.
Thanks for your attempt. If I may ask one request can you please post the Expresso bar and lockscreen with the black clock in an update.zip form. Those are the 3 elements that i would really like to have. I appreciate it once again.

Does anyone know of any good themes that work with LeeDroid Rom V3.0.3?
The only one I have found so far is Kalgas Mixed theme....just looking for something a little different.

Hi, i am actually using this theme but its not made for sensation. it needs only a little tweaking and its an amazing theme, if someone could just have a look and clean up the coding on it to fit the sensation perfect that be great. the hole phone is themed transparent, all it needs is the calendar themed to match, please look devs its worth it, its for cm7
