HTC 7 PRO (touch pro 3) Windows 7 Phone - HTC 7 Pro

Why is there no htc 7 pro section? and how do you think the HTC 7 Pro stand up against the HTC touch pro 2 and Samsung Epic 4G? this is what I wrote to Htc and Sprint!
HTC,
Htc 7 Pro
I would like to know the big difference between the Htc Touch Pro 2 and the new Htc 7 Pro, which is heading to sprint next year, and how does the Htc 7 Pro compare to the Samsung Epic 4G? I have also added a conclusion that people would like to see you take into consideration. It is just a small favor for the small upgrade to what suppose to be the successor to the touch Pro 2.

In conclusion, The Htc touch pro 3 (aka) Htc 7 Pro, which suppose to be more of a business phone, should have a frontward facing camera, at least a micro sd memory card reader for those of us who already have a 16gig micro sd memory card, at least a 4.0 inch screen, and run on the 4G network. I will not mention that the Bluetooth and USB use old technology on the Htc 7 Pro when the new Bluetooth and USB upgraded technology is available. Asking for mobile hotspot and a 1.5 dual core processor would be asking for too much. Most importantly Htc, how does the Htc 7 Pro compare to the Samsung Epic 4G besides the OS?! For those who would like to see the specs of the Samsung Epic 4G with Sprint, go to the Sprint website or Google it.
Notice the full five-row keyboard and big 4-inch screen with a frontward facing camera for video conference. Most importantly check out the specs! So what is the difference between the Htc touch Pro 2 and Htc 7 Pro, and how does it compare to the Samsung Epic 4G?!

How the heck do you make a conclusion without making an argument first?

It helps to have only half a brain.
Here's where 7 Pro falls short:
--NO SD SLOT!!
--8Gb of memory
--448Mb RAM
No SD slot makes 8Gb very weak. This is supposed to be an enterprise phone but no SD slot. Needs atleast 16Gb or expansion slot.
448 of RAM? That's less than the MyTouch Slide. Needs atleast 576.

The 7 pro has no Multitasking!

HTC almost had me buy this phone when it is out. I just liked its looks and specifications when it was announced.
However, the absence of sd/microsd card slot have made me rule it out of my plans. A very poor decision on the part of HTC - maybe they wanted to please Microsoft their partner, as it seems that all W7P do not support a memory expansion card.

Erm, Htc says it has 576mb of ram, just like HD2

i have the phone and it has 8GB and 576mb ram.
the missing sd-slot ist not a poor choice by htc but a requirement by microsoft to run wp7 on it.
still, i have no clue why this phone has only 8gb

the ipod does?

thank you but i'll stick with my Touch Pro....will wait for a proper windows 7 phone with keyboard to come out...I never had a phone for this long before but the Raphael is doing me nicely....even downgraded after using Touch Pro 2 for a bit...

there still remains the question: why is there no section for the 7 pro?
I have the device for 3 weeks now

Sprint released the CDMA version of this phone as well. I hope to see a forum section on it, although I'm with AT&T. I hope a GSM version of this phone comes to the U.S. (or Canada) so we can run 3G bands on it.
I loved my Tilt and Tilt 2, so this looks like the next logical step. I presume AT&T won't be happy until they redo the keyboard like every other HTC phone. :-/
Maybe they're waiting for some 4G hardware version (HSPA+ 14.4)? Wouldn't mind that.

Strange thing, when entering bootloader, the phone print a SD Sandisk 7xxxmb, juste like other phones with SD

I am wondering why there isnt a 7Pro section too! is it not welcomed?!

Loving my 7 Pro.
Again, why no section?

Why is there no section for the HTC 7 Pro?!!

Strange: In the opening post, the writer asks the question but doesn't answer it.
So I would like to ask the same question once again: Why is there no HTC 7 Pro Section?

Hi to everyone!
got my 7 pro last week and it's a really great phone, so far anyway
allso can't seem to find 7pro section anywhere, is there any reason for that?

Still no HTC 7 Pro forums? My Touch Pro 2 died and I want this phone.

Man i NEED THIS PHONE................
I say the next best thing to BREAD!!
It seems to be true after googling it.
Next best thing to Bread? May have been if it came out a year ago, but between the Touch Diamond, Touch 3G, Touch HD, Samsung Omnia, SEX1 and a few other, the specs don't seem exeptional (unless I'm missing something?).
Saying that - if it's exactly what you're after, jolly good for you!
If it just would not be so fat....16.5 mm....

HTC TOUCH 2 question.

Hello everyone that's my first post .
I ve got question about HTC TOUCH 2 .
Is it possible to change the possition of screen from vertical to Horizontal by pressing any button or something?
I ve noticed that this pda doesn't have the sensor ,also I have heard that's possible when registry in WM will be edited
I know it is your first post so I will be nice, if you want to get along here and be welcome, you need to understand that this is a library of knowledge, not " tech support "
You need to search for info yourself and post in the appropriate forums.

Your one freebie, welcome to the forums.
What much of an upgrade is the Touch 2 to the Touch? Same screen res, same screen size, 128 mhz better processor (original touch can OC that and more while staying stable). Only thing I can think of is double the RAM, and wm 6.5. Care to help me out with others?
thank you very much ,I really appreciate your help
Cheers

528 MHz vs 201 MHz (that's more than 128mhz difference)
ROM 512 MB, RAM 256 MB vs. ROM: 128 MB, RAM: 64 MB (that's more than double)
Camera 3.2 vs. 2 MP
The Touch 2 also comes with internal GPS (which the first one doesn't have according to htc site), 3.5" audio jack, zoom bar and of course more recent software (WM 6.5 and TouchFlo)
it's a hell of a difference! I have a HTC Touch on my desk, you can't use it anymore today.

Help for the Blackstone (HTC Touch HD)

(Before saying I should post this in the Blackstone section, keep in mind that I want not only the Blackstone users, but everybody to know about this)
Hey everybody,
So, I have a HTC Touch HD T8282 and, well, there isn't simply development for this poor phone. You see, this phone is the father of the masterpiece HTC HD2, but unfortunally, nobody as this phone, so there isn't development on this phone. The only OS being developed, without counting the Windows Mobile ROMs, is Android. Maybe we should just try to evolute this OS, since wp7 can't run on this phone, but the problem is that, right now, Android only boots from the SDcard (HaRET).
I've made this post on the General forum, because it's the only way I can make people to know about this.
I really want to flash some good Android ROMs on this device, but I have no idea of how to do this, and there is nobody doing it anyways!
I just want people that have Blackstone to try to make some development for the device, or if they can't, just donate it! If you want to donate, talk to me. The best Android avaiable for it right now is the FRX07.1 build.
Please help this device!
Also, please donate to the XDAndroid Project, which provides Android also for Rhodium, Raphael, Kovsky, Topaz and Diamond.
