I just wondering if there is an application that can be set to call a certain number at a given time.
Even, to call the phone itself.
Here is a situation that such program could be useful :
- At 15:00 you will meet someone who you dont want to meet in the first place, but you cant avoid the meeting.
- Then you set the application to call your mobile phone at 15:30
- So, your phone will ring at 15:30+ and you will pick up the phone (it is obvious), talk to your self ! And inform that you must leave because of something urgent

Can you just set an alarm with a ringtone as the alarm sound? Surely the person you are with wouldn't see the screen was showing an alarm alert rather than an incoming call.

Ive actually seen a website thatll do this for you but I cannot recall the name... I really wish I could remember... well, the alert idea is just as good I guess! unless someone calls in the middle of your convo... lol

if you click on Start Menu > Settings > Sounds & Notifications and then the notifications tab, you should be able to turn off the sms notification sound or change it something erm..shorter?
30 secs is a long time for a sms tune!
Thank you for your help but my probleme is not how to disable the notification, but how to stop ( with a buttom for example)because i am on call all the night for my job and i am called by SMS. I want to stop the ring when the SMS arrive, before all my family is wake up. (my wife is not very easy.Does i change her :??)

Why not simply choose a shorter SMS notification? Maybe one that lasts only 2-3 seconds?

You are called by SMS??? That's stupidest thing I ever heard. Isn't phone call better?
However, how fast do you usually react when SMS tune starts to ring?
If you're fast and don't want to wake up your wife, choose shorter tune.
If you're slow and your wife wakes up most of the time, you have two options:
- Change room in which you sleep when you're on call, or
- Change wife
I know that this is not quite answer to your problem, but I have no better one at the moment...
This is my problem
say A calls me and I couldn't pick up so the phone rings then directs A to my voice mail
so then A calls me again
this time the led would flash, the screen would show that A is calling, but the ringer would not ring.
The ringer on my phone is always on the highest ringer and I tested it out and I am still getting the same results.
Does anyone else has the same issue??
That is what exactly happen to me, i don't have a voice box (since roger is expensive)
But i notice if i do miss the first call (being forward or not) the second call will never rings.
As long the second call is the same person as first call.
I think it is a call blocking system so you don't get rings everytime the same person multi-call you within a time frame

simply write a android program that calls you back on missing calls.

May i know is there a option in the settings to change the way of call waiting alert?
like a single short beep or smtg? Because right now, is like non stop beeping until the guy who called me whos on waiting list hang up the phone. It keep on beeping and it so irrating while i am talking to my friend on the phone.
I just wan a short beep to just notify me and that enough, and not keep on beeping which is so annoying.
Any idea?

This app started as a solution for my frustration with having the same alarm tone every morning. You see, i`m absolutely not a morning person. I hate waking up before 10:am. So in order to get out of bed on school days i of course have to use an alarm. But by waking up to the same tone almost every day for months i started to link my pain of waking up to the tone. And whenever i heard the tone elsewhere i was reminded by the irritating feeling of waking up.
The app supports multiple repeatable alarms, random picked local tones and a premium library of online tones that i am working on expanding.
