Microsoft chess titans. - Android Apps and Games

I'm looking to see chess titans on android, its the game that shipped with windows 7 and it features fully animated chess pieces when moving them, instead of the regular "instant" move to square that I see in all the chess android apps today. (That confuses me x))
So of this is at all possible, it would be awesome to get it ported over to replace that choppy androidknight.

Anyone?

Needless to say, there's a rather slim chance of Microsoft Chess Titans getting an Android port. Chess for Android isn't animated, but it leaves a trace of your last move on the screen for you which should be enough to keep moves straight.

Rotating 3D Globe

I recall a Google video from about 2 years ago demonstrating the abilities of the Android OS with a world globe being flicked around with finger control. Inertia and al that.
Eye candy I appreciate but is there an app that does that?
Not sure what you mean but there's a live wallpaper called Earth Live Wallpaper, really cool and many other "maps" like mars, tatooine, deathstar etc.
The guy sais "now lets try the next application, global time"
i think global time is the name but its not on the market.. maybe you can find it on google.
Or maybe its just google earth
Yes that is the one. As I said just eye candy but perhaps the modern equivalent of worry beads - just flicking that globe around.
Anyone seen it as a stand alone app?
Thanks to all
terra time has what your lookin for a 3d globe

Very nice...eventhough i lost with kk a huge pot. One annoying thing, when two players are all in, the cards of both players are not shown at all, so you can't show how ugly your lost and it loses the excitement of the river...as you just don't know...

Not workin for me on my lg gt540, wont load past the zynga poker screen

Have you tried pocket legends yet? A friend showed me a space one today, but i can't remember the name.

I just finished playing around thirty minutes of pocket legends, and although it was good, its one of those limited party quest games. I think chaos and order was exactly what I wanted but like I said, it doesn't work.
I also tried dungeon siege second wave, and it took about an hour to download and I couldn't even get passed the gamespy login screen to try it out online.
Also tried parallel Kingdoms, while it seemed like a cool concept, its really generic in terms of graphics and such.
Its important for me to b able to play multiplayer so I can play with my friend who lives in another state.
So alas, its gonna b pocket legends for now, or back to xbox live I guess.

Dungeon Defenders is really good... I'd recommend playing on PC though... touchscreen controls are kinda dodgy. But it's good in a pinch.
1 part Tower Defense
1 part MMORPG
1 part FPS (or third person depending on zoom)
1 part cocaine

[IDEA] New best android game?

I decided to give mobile platform a try. I worked before alot with java and it shouldnt be a problem. Im going to make start with games since they are way more fun to code than utility apps. Now the first problem would be the whole idea and concept of the game. I was thinking about some sort of sneaking game where you have to remain silent(not moving too fast), avoid lights and maybe security cameras. This would have traps along the way as well. Developing levels is not easy but this sort of game will just not work on score.
That's my idea. Now...tell me your ideas about a new game concept. The more ideas I get the better it is.
That sounds just like Metal Gear

And since theres no Metal Gear for Android, (besides fpse), I say go for it.
Gameloft has made a career out of offering us games that the original devs for whatever reason don't offer us on Android.
**note: I love Gameloft games, they are at least high quality knock offs of popular games.
something like transformers where player can become robot and car both and fight with other robot (maybe via internet too)
Huge multi player online game

I'll have to agree with that idea.
In a time when mmorpgs are all the rage, the world needs more well done turn based rpgs.
/fires up FFVI

Exactly! We need a good turn based RPG with an awesome story, gameplay and graphics. It's going to be a day one purchase for me whatever the price. I just miss those games.
/thinks about replaying the 1st GS for the 9999th time.....

To be honest I was thinking more about a 2d game since they are way more addictive. How? Just look at angry birds, fruit ninja, ninjump, tilt to live etc

A multiplayer game, phone vs phone via Bluetooth or something like that would be wicked. Especially if you don't need a data connection to do so

Hello, i have ideas to several games, all of them multiplayer.
Multiplayer via wifi or data connection.
I think they can be very successful, something Android havent seen yet.
But i dont think they can be made with one dev only.
And im not a dev.
That would mean having a server...

What about a tower defense where you actually have the towers already made but must place proper soldiers in them like archers, mages and healers. Why healers? Because you also get shot and die :d

What about a game like Boulder Dash, with gravity sensor to control gravity for boulders?
there's already a game with some things you said called Mouse Trap: deadle maze
prince of Persia !

A bomberman clone of some sort ? Definately with local and online multiplayer though or else it would be "just another bomberman clone" .

Also wanted to add that Cubixx is the free game this week. I would definitely recommend it; it's a Qix style game in 3D and I really enjoyed my time with it and would recommend it at the ~$3.00 price tag it usually retails for. The 3D becomes a play mechanic as the cube has 6 different sides that can all be cleared. I have a review of it somewhere in the original playstation mobile thread if anyone cares to look for it. My largest complaint was that there was an updated version released on PS3 called Cubixx HD a while back that had a lot of extra modes and I think the replay value would have skyrocketed with them included.
Just wanted to add that a music creation game called Still Life was also released today and if I remember correctly it retails for something like 49 cents and looked pretty neat. Haven't picked it up yet since I'm considering getting back in to Vendetta Online which is something of a full time job.

You cant back up the data from the app PSM or you will get an error message and force close on restore but if you install the PSM app normally and sign in the games will still be installed as they get installed to SD. All PSM game data will be in Android>data>com.psstore folder (or something named Like that).
If wipe these games you can always redownload (even if free promo has stopped) as will save the purchases (even if free) in your downloads tab as they will be added to your PSN account.

Good news, I have been talking to Thomas Hopper, the developer behind this game, Radiant Flux, and other PSM titles. He has two PSM game projects in the works, Super Brain Eater and toEND. Super Brain Eater is an arcade game in the vein of oldschool classics like pac-man. toEND is a retro action platformer. He makes some good games. Here is a gameplay video of Super Brain Eater in a very very basic alpha form, work just began on this project. Give this guy some views, he deserves it.
Good finds! I'm not a big fan of the whole retro-style that T.A.C.S. goes for but it's always good to get a jump on news like this.
