i just saw this article about app called Androot ... and X10 is supported so anyone can tell me is it working ? cause as far as i know (i dont know a lot) rooting was not that simple thing to do just press and there u go rooted ?
Yes it works, that's how I rooted mine, dead simple just press root, woot your device is rooted!!

I themed a 2.3.4 Gingerbread keyboard for our x10's. It's modified with some nice sexy dark colours. This MOD is only for Gingerbread ROM's, could maybe work on Froyo/Eclair ROM's but I'm not sure. I never used Gingerbread keyboards on Froyo/Eclair, so I'm not sure of it. PLEASE DON'T REPORT IF IT DOESN'T WORK ON FROYO/ECLAIR. It is made FOR GINGERBREAD/CM7.
If you face any graphical issues, report it in this thread. PM's relating to this Mod will not be replied, report/ask everything here in this thread!
To install the Keyboard, put the LatinIME.apk in system/app and set the right permissions. Don't forget to back-up since this is my first .apk!
50% of the credits for this .apk go to pvyParts. He compiled and signed the .apk properly, since I couldn't do it right. Let's hope it works now!
I haven't tested this Keyboard, so give me results, feedback and eventual pictures of it in action!

It's built for sdk 10. Phones. So most probably should work but I don't understand why it did not work for you..may be because you rooted it or something...can anyone else confirm if it's working on the above version?

Press menu once you open it and put in the 3 digit id number (found in address of the thread page) press ok, and then refresh timescape and it should appear

I was receveing many PMs about this app so i decided to make a thread so everyone can see and use this app. You can use this app on any gingerbread based roms ( like cm based and stock based ) and on any ICS or Jellybean based rom too.
This is the app that all of us lost when we install our first rom, and many people miss this app, so now you can use it on ur favorite rom, it's pretty light and i didnt face any lagg with it. This app only works as a battery saver and not as a task manager like some other similar apps.
Download the attachment and just install it as normal apk. Enjoy it

Thnks... But how u know that it's an official Samsung energy saver coz I didn't saw it on my Fit with Froyo 2.2.1 when I bought it (~2 yrs ago).

It isnt come with my fit too bro. But it comes on my aunt's galaxy s2 and with my cousin's galaxy mini, and i already read that it comes on many other sansumg android smartphones

After i create this thread i saw many people creating threads for other devices with this apk ( some guys are from gfit forum and only take the apk and put it into some download servers), but i didnt see people giving me credits for this APK, i am really thinking in close this thread, who already "take" the apk from me not even pressed thanks. I am impressed with this guys.
P.S Before i open this thread i searched on XDA if someone already has posted it.

the app works superbly . as soon as I off the screen the app disables edge from my mobile until I wake my device . it also allows sync in certain time interval .
there is not even a single percent battery drop when the screen is off which is awesome !
