captivate 2.2 shows video call forwarding - Captivate General

just loaded 2.2 on my captivate and is shows ongoing call forwarding for video calls. i cant get it to go away. what is this? i used this I897UCJI6-OCD-REV02-Low-designgears(1) to update to froyo

i really need some help. i dont know what i did to show that option

Re-Flash
Flash back to JF6 with Odin one click and then re-flash Cog 2.2 beta 5.5.

any reason for that rom? or just it doesnt have the bug? i assume its a bug

guess what i still have a video call forward thing on there im reverting back to 2.1 ill wait

any one else have this problem? or just me

I don't see that on mine. I'm running Cog v2.2 b6.

it went away for some reason i dont know why or how it comes up. i didnt know it had a video call option

Forwarding all video calls
I am having the same problem.

dood.. your loading a cooked rom with pieces from other roms. Your going to see items like that, that are completely not compatible with the captivate.
you don't have a front facing camera anywhere for it. Stop loading cooked roms and wait for official froyo so you know what features there are.

Threaded SMS Touchflo # Issue

So using threaded sms has become an issue. After my long chat touchflo still shows #s under the sms tab. I have to go in and click each message until it dissapears. Is there a way to fix this? Not to mention its wasting my battery because the light keep going telling me i have an sms
I was having the exact same problem recently. what ROM are you using?
Provens rom 1.03
I have the same problem with JD's ROM (1.03651.3) but didn't have it with the stock ROM, no idea the version number.

You could disable the light until a solution is found to help with the battery drainage.
Unfortunately I don't have that issue so I can't offer any help other than the battery help. Sorry.
Yea i also had the issue with the new ROMeOS and the PROven ROM, but no issue with NATF or stock. The only thing I can recommend to you is to use a different ROM or revert to an older version, because I think it has something to do with the newer versions.
Im also having this probelm too. it first started when i was still using my diamond with duttys roms, the older ones didnt do this and then all the sudden it started doing this. and first rom i flashed on my fuze had the same prob.. seems to be a limited amout of people having this issue but hope we can figure it out. If any of the experts out there have any ideas let me know and im willing to test things.
Apparently the latest ROM is fixed...20931, I believe.

[Q] Updated to Froyo on Vibrant

So I updated to Froyo (the "hacked" version from on these forums) from stock 2.1 so I am now running Froyo.UVJK2- Kernel- 2.6.32.9. I am also rooted. I literally downloaded it on a HP dragged it into the Vibrant and then went thru clockwork and had it install from there. My problem comes in because I've had a few issues since that though and after tons of research I have come up with nothing. Basically, I have no haptic feedback with my Android keyboard even though its checked off in settings, my messaging app sometimes opens to the last thing i was doing such as internet page or email, etc., one of my apps won't stay where i put it even though i save it to that spot - itll save on page 7 but when i restart the phone its back on page 1, I am not receiving voicemail notifications at all (huge issue since ive had a bunch of people complain), and sometimes when i am on wifi calling i don't receive notification that i got a text.
Also would i be able to receive an OTA from t-mobile even though i have this version and my phone is rooted?
Thanks, any info helps and please try to be explanatory- i'm new to this (sorry)... also if there is any apps that i can install to help with the problems i'm open to them BUT i rather hear a fix.

[Q] serendipity 6.4, "no service" when receving a call

I installed serendipity 6.4 w/ hardcore speedmod about 3days ago and everything works very well, but when I get a incoming call the phone rings once and I drop signal "no service" a second or two goes by signal comes back everythings fine no missed call shown, like I never got a call...But I can make outgoing calls...plz help
Same exact problem for me, I even tried restarting fresh and doing the whole flashing process over again and still have the same issue.... I'm about to switch roms if this keeps up but I really liked Serendipity
Same problem here, same ROM, same version.
What have you guys tried?
I've flashed back to stock using ODIN and then flashed back to Serendipity again. Problem appeared to be resolved at first, but then 2 days later the symptoms started to repeat.
That made me suspect the problem was with particular apps or widgets I'd stuck on my home screen, so I tried removing my newer apps & widgets such as Facebook and NYT to no avail.
Anyone else with ideas?
I do rather like Serendipity, but will probably end up flashing back to Cognition or something to get around this. Guess I'll wait for Mikey's 2.3 to stabilize!
Update:
Flashed back to a clean Serendipity 6.4 and did not use Titanium Backup to restore my apps. It's working fine right now. In the next few days I'll restore individual apps as I need them, and see if the problem recurs.
Best theory so far is that the problem is either
a) Caused entirely by a particular app or widget
b) Caused by some sort of strange incompatibility between Serendipity 6.4 and a particular app or widget

[Q] Incoming calls - no audio

Most of the times, when someone calls me, I can't hear them. I have to toggle on/off speakerphone, and it'll fix itself. When I'm in stock, it works fine. I thought it was the ROM, but I used the ROM before, and it worked fine back then. Same ROM version.
I previously had DlevROM 5.0, and I know that was in the bugs list, but in the bugs list, it says "1st call after boot has no sound". To me, it wasn't just the first, it was every single one. So, I went back to stock, then flashed Serendipity (I was bored, so I decided to kill some time going to stock, then flashing a custom ROM). I had used Serendipity before, but now, I have the same call problem as with DelvROM. I didn't have that problem the last time I used Serendipity. Is it some file that got "ruined"?
Try flashing Infused and see if the problem still persists...
Ok. I'll flash tomorrow, and I'll let you know if it worked. Thanks a bunch.

Stable ROMs?

I'm on stock rooted MM and want a stable ROM since I've been having problems like sudden short freezes and now my internal storage says 96% full when it's not even close to that. I'm thinking of going back to Lollipop with MOAR v7. Is there any other stable ROMs you guys suggest?
I'm using cm and lineage and they are alright, cm from November has less bugs right now
What bugs are you seeing on Lineage?

Sprint variant, normal cm complaints early: SMS issues, some calling issues, can't cheat at pokemon go, 5ghz WiFi crashes for me 900p on lollipop bootloader...ok4 firmware
I went ahead and installed it this weekend. I'm not having any problem with 5ghz wifi, but I am having calling issues - when making or receiving a call the call screen just doesn't show up. The phone looks like I'm not even in a call but I'm certainly talking to someone on it. So I can't send any number presses (was impossible to navigate a businesses caller menu) and I can't hang up - either they have to hang up first, or I have to reboot my phone to know for sure it is hung up.
Other than that it is working great. Performance seems better and I'm loving the Pixel launcher. I don't see any sms issue, but I do all sms through Google Voice/Hangouts. The phone issue is going to force me back to CM13 though.

the internal storage issue youre having isnt ROM specific, its basically an issue with the ROM basically ghosting your internal storage and ignoring whats there by not looking at the table of contents. Ive been looking for a solution for this myself and not finding much. If i find a solution, ill post something up
