New dialing software

Hiyya all,
ME Software has released a new product to aid the user in the proccess of smart dialing.
It is basically a t9-like mechanism (much like previous product PhonePlus) but this one is an add-on for the default dialer which supports many languages (and is easily extendable to more...).
Among the features you can find:
- Vibrate on touch (vibrate your device when you dial a digit)
- Several languages included, others are easily addable
- Dial-pad language included as well!
- Integration into the default MS dialer
- Fully skinablle
- Stay in-sync with your contact DB - whenever there is a change (added/deleted/updated) EZDial update itself with the new data

I won't try it, because i think that the extended value (above the standard dailer) is too less.

A newer version of Smartbar, 1.2.009 has been released.

didn't work
Hello,
It looks very nice and I download the file.
Was careful with the installation procedure (read the read me file).
But the device :
- froze immediatly
or
- froze after a certain amount of time
or
- was verrrry slow
and
- consequently could not be detected by my computer by active sync.
Still the screen shot looks very promising. I have a hp so that might explain why it didn't work...

Some reg tweaks as CABs

I made some reg tweaks as CABs.
The first one is to enable ClearType in landscape.
I made 2 screen shots (note that clear type is some what blurry, but you see less "jaggies" I hope that is the right word):

Without ClearType:
Look especially at the "y" to see the difference!
The second CAB is for Power Saving. It enables 3 power management options in the registry. I don't know yet how successful this is, but on PPCs it is very good.http://www.mediafire.com/?9xsulxowjzz
If you don't want it anymore you can easily uninstall them!
Please report back if they work properly, especially the ClearType one, as I read that it reverts back after a few reboots!​

Thanks for the CABs, but allow me one question: when exactly occur the jagged letters? I tried some apps (including File Explorer 'Recent Programs') and had always antialiased letters.

I can't download cabs.
May be broken.

Can you upload it on rapidshare, I am getting this messege:

I just noticed that the files are gone? Maybe because MediaFire did maintenance yesterday! I'll reupload!

The last one was really buggy for me; I hope the 4.4-4.5 compatibility fixes clear that up. I couldn't even use it. It wouldn't save any of my settings, and seemed to ignore my previous sk reg settings. E.g., it didn't recognize my list of favorite tools, and it wouldn't save things like excluded directories in the backup tool.

If you mean you lost all 4.4 settings, it´s ok because we use new settings storage system (SKTools 4.5.1.x).

[TOOL] Quick File Explorer

Hello,
I decided to make some simple and quickly file explorer that uses adb.
It was annoying for me to launch apps like WIFI file explorer or sth. like that and then open the browser, enter ip address and so on.
This works only via WIFI for now, but You can always vote to implement USB option.
If You would like to see more functions post Your ideas or wishes here.
