I'm looking to the community to help compile a list of apps, settings, widgets known to excessively drain the battery. On the flip-side, I would also like to get power saving tips, settings, etc... (What you do to squeeze out the much needed, little bit of energy.) I'm looking for efficiency ... When adding an to the list please give a description of how you pinpointed the problem and/or fix.
Have a look at System Panel.

There are two versions available, a free Lite and a Paid Full.
I use the paid version as it offers so much in keeping your phone in optimum performance.

Hey folks, I have just published a re-designed and completely from scratch re-written version of Battery Watch. I'd like to get you feedback on it.
Battery Watch 4.0.6.1 APK Download
The goal of the app is not to provide the most comprehensive battery information, but rather to offer a fun way to keep informed about your battery state by playing funny voices at a certain time of the battery state.
Here are some screen shots of it:

It's a work-in-progress app and I would like to very much get your feedback. Over the next couple of weeks I want to publish weekly updates of Battery Watch.
If anyone has some feedback for me it would be really helpful. I am just checking here in case someone missed it

Hey there,
my girlfriend uses a Google Nexus 5X and in the past days something weird is happening.
The battery usage of "Snapchat" was enormous - so I limited the background data of Snpachat.
So far so good. But this night, a strange app called "10085" appeared in the list. And it used "GPS"! But GPS was and is disabled in the options.
Any ideas what this could be?
(Sorry for the big ass Pics, but I'm not allowed to post outside links yet.)

Those "numbers" represent an app that you have recently uninstalled or disabled.
Ahh ok. That clears it up. I could have known that. Sorry and thanks
I don't know about anyone else, but I have had horrible battery life since MM. It has taken me all this time to figure out what the cause was. Nope, no rogue apps, simply a setting. I wanted to report it just in case their were others like me. My phone is important for work as I am a traveling IT engineer and rely heavily on my phone for troubleshooting, calling, and emails.

I'm going to try this since I'm mostly on Wifi anyways and work from home. Since the update I've gone from 48hr battery life to around 28hrs with no change in how I use the phone.
