This thread is devoted to ADW launcher themes.
Make a post and I'll update this post.
Themes:
britoso - Transparent icon bubbles
rori~ - Smoked (smoked launcher box, trans icons, smoked folders ..more)[/URL]
crachel - N1 Drawer icon(Nexus X)
vladnosferatu- iTheme [http://i2theme.webs.com/] (iPhone icons for most popular apps.)
To use a theme:
1) Install the apk.
2) apply the theme. settings->adw settings->theme preferences
To create your own:
Here is a nice guide: https://code.google.com/p/adw-launcher-android/wiki/ADWThemeGuide
All you need is the Eclipse IDE. (get the smallest one, i.e "Java developers" version). After you install/unzip Eclipse, install the ADT plugin.
Get the template project. (click download source)
import the project into your eclipse workspace
read the README file in the project
Customize the project name, version, theme image, wallpaper, and any other image or xml
build a signed .apk in eclipse and post here.
Note: To encourage theme merging and kanging, please post your project source code or upload it to an online repository like google code.
It's nice mate; thanks for sharing

If I load the source template to eclipse...I cannot change alpha value of the bubbles, right?
(Cause decompiling it then with apk tool, I can get the smali files to change...but I would like to do that in eclipse)
Is there a way?

britoso...hope you can find some time to change some orange to cyan - would pretty much complete your theme for me
[ADW Theme] N1 Drawer icon
Here's one I did that:
Changes Wallpaper to the basic blue pictured below
Changes the drawer icon to the Nexus One icon
On a side note, it would be nice if there was a way to easily combine two themes.
[ADW Theme] Transparent icon bubbles
Simple theme that only sets the icon bubble background transparent.
Will try and change some orange to cyan if I get the time.
Had to replace the wallpaper so I threw in a blue/gradient one. Change it if you dont like it.
Download:
[1.0]
Edit: Works with VTL Launcher
(Britoso, perhaps you wanna change thread title to ADW themes, if anybody else want to use this thread ..)

Did you right click your project and select "Refactor->Rename"? AnderWeb has covered most problems in the comments section here
got as far as extracting it but dont know where to start with signing it int he keystore wizard lol
Everytime I try to make a theme using the template all I get are errors. I use the same file names and everything, just changed the icons with different ones. End up with more than 200 errors. What am I doing wrong? The readme isn't very in depth.
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
Please note I am not responsible for anything bad happening to your device in case you mess something up. I have done everything written in this thread myself. But if you do not recompile the APK properly you might have to restore. So backup first.
I have made some modifications in my SystemUI and I am posting them here in case any of you might want those as well.
1. Remove S-Finder Bar from Notification Panel
Although I have seen another post on how to do that, but that method does not work right, the notification panel animation gets messed up that way.
To remove S-Finder Bar,
Simply go to system/build.prop and change
ro.product.name=xxx
to
ro.product.name=vzw
and thats it. Just restart and it will be gone.
As a side effect you will get permanent data icon even when using wifi. But it can be fixed if you want to.
Decompile SystemUI.apk and change the following files in res/drawable-xxhdpi to 1x1 transparent pngs.
i) All the files starting with stat_sys_data_disabled
ii) All the files starting with stat_sys_data_connected_disabled
And thats it. Recompile the APK and push into the system.
Now you have S Finder Bar gone with no side effect data icon.
2. Make the Recent Apps background fully transparent.
To do this, you need to go to res/values/colors.xml and look for the following line
<color name="recents_panel_background_color">
and put the following value there instead of the one written there
<color name="recents_panel_background_color">#33000000</color>
I have it set to nearly full transparent just like stock android but you can change it if you want.
Now to make the buttons background transparent as well go to drawables.xml in the same folder and look for the line
<item type="drawable" name="recents_item_button_background">
change its value to
<item type="drawable" name="recents_item_button_background">#00000000</item>
and recompile/push into system and you are done.
3. Change the color of default Black status bar.
The entire look of lollipop is white and majority of non material design apps are white as well, so I have changed the default color of my status bar to grey instead of black. It matches well with legacy apps like root explorer as I use the white theme. Plus it looks amazing with Chrome.
To change the color of the status bar to your liking go to res/values/colors.xml in decompiled SystemUI and look for
<color name="system_bar_background_opaque">
now the value in this line can be changed to the hex color of your choice.
If you want to set it the same as the one in screenshot. Change it to
<color name="system_bar_background_opaque">#ff9a9a9a</color>
4. To make the clock center
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ide-lollipop-clock-center-status-bar-t2989179
5. To Clear the space taken by Clear All Button in notification center (Thanks to tkari4)
When you pull down notification center there is wasted space on bottom taken by clear all button specially in Landscape mode.
you can attain that space.
NOTE: Clear all button will still work but there will be no text. You just press in the space of clear button and it will clear all.
open SystemUI.apk\res\values\dimens.xml and set these to 0.0dip
<dimen name="close_handle_height">34.0dip</dimen>
<dimen name="close_handle_underlap">34.0dip</dimen>
recompile and push in system
I have also hidden the Semi Transparent Status Bar in stock launcher and made it fully transparent. I can post it too if someone wants that.
I have also changed status bar icons to stock lollipop and modified the lockscreen to look like stock lollipop.
Reply if you want any of those.
I am here to help further if needed.

How You can Mix & Match Your Own C o f f e e
1. download & install apkeditor from playstore
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmail.heagoo.apkeditor&hl=en
2. download latest Coffee.apk from OP / post 1, and other additional apk from menu
3. rename additional apk => example: qs_clear_25.apk become overlay.coffee.qs.apk
* add "overlay.coffee." in front
* remove file name from first underscore ( _ ) onward, you just need the first word
4. open apk editor, select Coffee.apk, and choose menu 2 ( Simple Edit (FILE REPLACEMENT))
5. open assets , scroll down to bottom and find overlays you want to change (example: overlay.coffee.qs.apk)
tap the pencil icon beside it, and choose the apk you've downloaded & renamed with same name.
6. click Save ! and your own Coffee is served as new apk
7. open Theme store, delete existing Coffee theme if any, and install new customized Coffee.
8. apply Coffee Theme ~ most of the time you won't need to reboot, but if you find theme layout or color to be incorrect, you'll need to reboot AND re-apply Coffee theme.

Hi, i want to ask about tasker and bk package disabler, its not free on playstore? I thought that free ?
Its only work on snapdragon type? I have s8 exynos
I tried about adb, but when i type adb devices, that said false code??
Do you have a solution for exynos one? Thanks
Hi love the theme. I was just wondering if i have done something wrong , i have noticed that there are a few assets in the theme for facebook, play store , youtube and messenger but they donot apply when setting the theme. Also some notifications are still black text on black background.
Any idea why or is this normal?
Thanks for your time.

It works for exynos too.
You can try substratum theme killer.
It's now on separate app and free.

Thanks. Tried setting the theme then reboot and reapply the theme, but it still does not apply on
Facebook
Facebook messenger
Play store
Youtube.
Could it be the apps have updated?
Was the theme created for and older vesion of the app?.
Or should the above make no diffrence? Thanks again, your work is amazing.

This theme only theme their notification color, and not the in-app color itself.
There's no color theme for in-app yet.
Oh i see. Sorry i thought it themed the app also. In that case it works briliantly
