I have been wondering if there is a way backing up playlist on stock music player, i am tied of recreating them every time i flash a new Rom. Sometimes i also wish that there was a way of syncing my playlist on windows media player either by air or data cable and then the player in my phone could just recognize them and off it plays the songs.

I am running the new Lantis OS rom and i don't know if it has to do with the rom or something else.. I used windows media play to sync music to my phone, the music is there but when i go to the music tab on touchflo it only displays one song, but i can click library and select a different song, but it doesn't allow me to flip through them like it should. Can someone help me on this one please?
Try to update your library first?
In windows media player? Sorry, i don't use music on my phone that often but i would like to start.
Steven,
This happened to me last week too where the album art in TF3D will just show only 1 image for all the songs and sometimes you get the feeling that your music is not being changed once a song is finished. What i did was to make a folder inside a music folder for each album and then put album art in all the folders and name it as folder.jpg and after that my music tab is working fine and without any problems.
Thanks for the reply i will have to try that. There is one thing though when i used windows media player on my desktop computer to sync music it put all the albums in separate folders in a music folder on my storage card.
I'm looking for a way to convert windows media player playlists to either windows media player mobile playlists or to work with the HTC Touch Pro 2 software media player software. I have playlists created in my desktop Windows Media Player and would prefer not to re-create them all. Anyone know of a way to do this? I've searched and haven't found anything.
I had a terrible time getting my playlists to sync. Music went fine but no playlists. I finally just did a copy/paste of the .asx files to my card and everything went fine from there.
I wonder if such thing exists.. because its really uncomfortable to do it through phone..
I haven't used it in a while, but I'm sure Winamp does that for you.
Most music apps should work with m3u playlists. I don't know if the stock app can but all music players from market that I tried could.
I usually add my music on my phone's SD card with a m3u playlist file (generated by Winamp) in every music folder. I use Winamp on my phone to listen to music. You can try to make a m3u playlist and see if your stock player can see/play it.
Is there a good free music player that works on our phone with Android 2.2 (Froyo)?
I noticed that the stock music player has to reload the album art everytime, sometimes it gets blocked and rarely mixes up the album art in case 2 albums from different artists have the same name.
I would like the player to be very simple, I just want to listen to music and that's it.
For example I've read many people reccomending the Google Music Player but I need to log into my account and also install a program on my computer to sync music while I normall just transfer music through USB.
Meanwhile i deleted/uninstalled all music or videoaplayers and just and only use the built in player of Total Commander for Android (see signature for download). That's really sinple, stable and plays videos & music of nearly all formats from m3u-lists.
Thanks!
Any other suggestions?
Total commander is the best
Is anyone aware of a media player that can be installed onto a head unit that has the ability to browse the media of a Bluetooth connected device. My GMC truck with a factory radio, I can go and browse all the music and gets sorted by Track, artist and albums. Would be fantastic if the stock media player had this ability, but would love to find a 3rd party app to do so.
