[Q] Question: How to remote control WMP - General Questions and Answers

I hope this does not get to embarrassing, I have googled this site and almost everywhere else without finding any answer, but its probably still something easy that have been done before...
How do you control wmplayer.exe from the command line or through postmessage?
Specifically, how does spb mobile shell wmplayer widget control wmplayer.exe.
My goal is to intercept those messages and redirect them to s2p or my own radio application for the omnia 2.
Well, bring it on guys and gals, make me look stupid, please.

list of SOFTWARE added to FTP site

It's been kind of hard for me to find really good software for my PPC. So here I give you a list of what I currently think you should have. Look for them on the e-mule.

-Just for fun. With this prog installed into the PC and the PPC you can run use your device throw the computer.
Resco Audio Recorder 3
-The name says it all. I use it to record personalized ringtones for my friends, now my mobile speaks and tell me who is calling.
Resco Keyboard PRO 4.33
-I speak spanish and its kind of obseting not to have the ñ character to send SMS.
SPB PocketPlus 3.0
-The funtion I like the most is that now I can swich throw programs without closing them.
WinamPAQ 0.93
-Its really usefull if you want to use your PPC as a media device.

hi
although most of us still use some pirated softwares on our ppc but this forum is not for that.. there are plenty of other forums where this stuff goes on and lets not bring that over here
im sure the MODS would agree with me on this
thanks
I agree - I have edited his post, as you can see.
Please don't use this forum as a platform for cracked software. This is a great danger to a forum that is bringing so much joy and help to us. Let us alltogether try to keep it safe and clean...
Thank you
Where should I send it?
I didn´t find a cracked PPC software site, I downloaded it all from the e-mule
I don't think anyone can separate files from E-mule...you can get only download pathes...99% of the network is pirated stuff i suppose...
You dont get anything free on emule, its all warez stuff

Mortplayer Today Plugin

Hello,
I am looking for the Mortplayer Today Plugin.
It does not appear anywhere on Mortplayer's website, but I could find some reference to some old download folders in various web sites.
The file name should be mptoday.pl
Does anyone know where to find this?
Cheers,
JP.
Wow, nobody answered this and I'm now looking for the same thing
I found it! Go and visit this page: http://www.sto-helit.de/downloads/pocketpc/
-> you'll find MPToday-3.0-en.exe and MPToday-3.0-en.cab to download.
Cheers,
JP.
Sorry, missed that thread...
I'm not quite sure whether I'll make a new update for it. With the current MortPlayer beta, it wouldn't be too hard to make an rlToday skin. Most required informations are in the registry (HKCU\Mort\MortPlayer\Remote) and you can control the player with parameters of MPNotify (<OnClick File="\Windows\MortPlayer\MPNotify.exe" Command="stop" />).

Y'know what I'd really like, is the ability to run mortplayer from the HTC Home plugin. That would make me a very happy guy.

I agree... would be really awesome to incorporate mortplayer to work with htc home...
would kick all kinds of ass
If the HTC Home plugin allows to pass parameters, using MPNotify would help there, too.
The player in HTC Home doesn't remote control any other player but is an implemented own player, so remote controlling MortPlayer isn't possible with the original HTC Home. Any other program could use the new MPNotify parameters and registry values to allow remote control.
In theory, even some WMP remote control tools might work with the current beta, if they use the "State" registry entries (available since WM5) and the remote control ways also used for AVRCP (WMP plugin or emulated clicks to WMP window).

Where can I find a list of valid parameters to pass to MPNotify.exe? I took a guess at "play", "next", and "stop" - I tried"previous" and "back" but they didn't work.
Thanks

TouchPad in Raphael as Mouse-Control?

Hi everyone.
I have my new Touch Pro and i saw it have a "full" TouchPad under the Screen.
My question is, might it be possible to display a Mouse-courser and control it with this TouchPad?
I dont know if this is usefull.
Badly i never coded for Windows Mobile, so is someone thinking this would be a nice application and want to code something like this?
Maybe if i get this damn Microsoft Visual Express Edition running, i will try something myself.
//Edit: just like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpKQOP9LJRU
It's a good idea, the touchpad is even multi-touch capable...
hate it on i900...
could be more interesting on touch pro/diamond, since the surface is larger
Hi everyone Im using remote touch for this. take a look at that freeware on this site here. as it is a beta there is no further guide on how to use this tool. anyway figure it out for yourself. it works for me, not always but it does most of the time.
have fun
hm.
maybe you did not understand me or i dont know if remote touch can control a mouse on your PocketPC and not on your Desktop PC.
best look at the movie in my first post to get a impression how i was thinking for a use of this touchPad.
Yes, like Samsung-i900 (Omnia). It's possible?
i think it is possible (but i am really new in WinCE developing).
I have finaly succesfully installed an IDE on my Work-PC.
And i think i also found somethink to move the "mouse".
Now i only need to install the IDE on my Home PC, loading DLLs into the program and i need to look into the SDK for the TouchPad. (Badly i have read that it has only one event that reads the rotations? this would be bad.)
Of course it would be faster if someone that is a lot more experienced in WinCE developing would try it.
Hello, I was the first one to come up with this idea. Check it out here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=431522
Is it possible to make the area around the Dpad as touch buttons (touching the up button = pressing the up button, etc)? Since the Dpad is hard to press, it makes some games kinda unplayable...

How do I add a Call History / Missed Calls plugin or item to Today, w/out TouchFlo3D

I've disabled TouchFlo 3D because it was slowing down my HTC Fuze (aka the Touch Pro's ugly stepsister). But I miss the Call History / Missed Calls line on the Home / Today screen. It would show "No missed calls" or "Missed calls: 1 ..." etc.
I've looked in Settings >> Personal >> Today >> Items but can't find anything that will display it. I seem to remember seeing a "Phone" item in there at one time, but don't have it anymore.
I've tried O2 Plus, but that just shows the last call made/received. And I see there are some programs out there that cost $$, but I'm looking for a free solution.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! (I've searched these forums and Google for an hour and can't find an answer -- maybe I'm just looking for the wrong thing??).
~Tony
Have you tried SPB phone suite? It should give you what your looking for.
http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/phonesuite/download.html?en
Sorry.....I seem to have overlooked the 'free solution part'....my bad. I think I remember seeing a freeware application that did stuff like this too. I'm looking for it. If I find it.....I'll let you know.
SPB
I looked at SPB Phone Suite but it provides way too much functionality... even when customized down to bare bones.
I'm looking into coding a custom solution myself... but it seems like a simple, free plug-in should be out there somewhere! Something like "Missed Calls: 2 - Voicemails: 1" would be really nice.
Well if anyone finds anything please feel free to let us know!!
EDIT: I looked at SPB Pocket Plus... not Phone Suite. Phone Suite looks pretty good... but again... I'd rather not pay for the simple functionality I'm looking for only to get more than I need or want!

Looking for Video Editor For Windows Mobile 6.1 Device

This area looks like the best place to pose this question. I've been searching everywhere for some sort of freeware video editor similar to the SE video DJ, but have not come across ANY. Editing is a huge hobby of mine, and my device feels sort of "empty" without it. Does anyone happen to know of any good video editing software comptible with WM 6.1 (on HTC Touch Pro)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
I've been through several programs and have yet to see something like this. Honestly, i'd be surprised to see a video editing program for Pocket PCs because it requires so much and i don't think that what we've got today is enough. If anybody has more insight on this, please correct me if i'm wrong.
Video editing
googled and found this
