When Google Voice got the v4.0 update on Android and Blackberry it included a feature called “direct access numbers.” The service now assigns a unique outgoing call number to each person you dial, skipping the need to forward the number you were dialing to Google Voice’s servers. This new feature makes connecting outgoing calls quicker by skipping the server altogether and forgoing your phone’s data connection. And while this addition definitely enhances the way the app functions, making it feel more like placing a traditional telephone call, it comes with one major caveat.
Many have been using a little “hack” though Google Voice to place unlimited voice calls regardless of how many minutes they have on their service provider plan (given the plan includes an unlimited “favorites” option like T-Mobile’s “myFaves”). The trick works (or worked) like this: You place your incoming Google Voice number as one of your unlimited minutes contacts and the outgoing Google Voice number as another. Now as long as you use Google Voice to place and receive calls, all are theoretically free no matter if the contact is in your favorites list or not. Now that the outgoing Google Voice number is no longer static, this clever work around has gone bye bye.
If you have been using this trick and don’t want to lose your precious, loophole, free unlimited calling you might do best to avoid the latest Google Voice update. If you downloaded the latest version not knowing you would lose this functionality, well this may be of some interest to you. Cheers!
I wanted the previous versions of Google Voice that supported this "functionality" and found them, but there were scattered around on XDA and the web. Here they are consolidated. :
*Note: the purple signed version is a XDA hack that enables a purple notification blink on the Nexus One http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6188764&postcount=27
To install you should first uninstall the most recent version.

Thanks! This was also useful for me, as the regular app store won't let me download Google Voice onto my ZTE X500 Score, but 3.4 is working flawlessly for me!
I'm not sure if the latest version would work; haven't been able to find a trustworthy source for it. (I don't use F&F.) The X500 is ARMv6-based, so a bit long in the tooth, technology-wise.
Has someone created a trustworthy clearinghouse for md5s of apps like this? Maybe we should build one here at XDA-developers?
Would need a canonical naming convention for APK names and version numbers, and be served over HTTPS.

Ultimate BLOATWARE (deBloat) List
for Android 4.3 and 4.4.2x official
(ROOT required)!
Attention for Android 5.0.1 and UP:
I started a new Thread here: Click
. . .
Samsung Flip Cover friendly!
There are more (depending on your usage) but that was it for now!
You can delete or move this Apps, Libs and Folders easy with "Root Explorer" App (Playstore)! Use v3.1.7 for Android 4.4.2 please!!!
Reason for this list:
We want a space-saving stock System with all necessary functions available!
We DON'T want custom Kernel & custom Recovery!
Use Xposed Installer/Framework with Wanam Xposed (ROM modding without modifying APKs)! :good:
In some cases it´s necessary after removing to clear the dalvik-cache and reboot!
Reboot always necessary!
I recommend using Playstore App "SD-Maid" (menu "corps-finder")
to kill unused related crap AFTER DELETING !!
It saves a lot of work!
In odexed ROM´s you have to delete/move the associated "xxx.odex" App´s also!
New added things are marked GREEN for some time!
XXUGNE5+ only Bloatware / Apps are marked BLUE !!!
NOTE: In Android 4.4.2 (kitkat) some apps are moved to System/Priv-app (if you don't find them in "System/App" !!!)
Don´t disable KNOX messaging with SuperSU (might cause random system restarts or bootloop if you thereafter removing knox).
Simply remove all shown Knox stuff and you´r done!

I'm not a friend of those scripts especially the finished app is also an intervention in the system!
So often you do not do that and the "root explorer" derives good services!
So everybody can choose witch App he dosn´t need!

But not everybody want a custom recovery to do that.
If I know how, I would make an App to handle this more comfortable!

You make a good point, and I understand it.
But some of us want to remove EVERYTHING, and it's a chore to do it manually.
If you could do an optional script, it would be great. If you can't or don't want to, I understand.
Thank you for the great list.

Touchwiz Speed Up & Increase Battery Life Tricks:
After freezing apps with Titanium Backup, here is the list of things that i have done to make my Android Lollipop Stock Rom, Faster & increase battery life & increase performance.
1) To increase battery life & increase performance, , 100% Install Greenify & Greenify (Donation Package), it's running amazing, even without Xposed on android Lollipop.
Then remember to download Donation Package too, because it gives you the choice to greenify system apps too.
Then make the list of app that you want to greenify & put the 'hirbernate now' shortcut in your homescreen.
For Example: I always greenify Instagram, because after i just checked it out, i don't want it to run in background, so i put it in greenify list.
But i don't greenify whatsapp because, i want it to run in background so i could get PMs when some one send them to me.
2) Go to Setting, and CONNECTION Tab, Be sure that NFS, S Beam, Nearby devices are turned off
In CONNECTION Tab, Select Wifi then press the option key & select Advanced
Then untick Network notification, Passpoint, Always allow scanning.
Then go to MY DEVICE Tab, in Input and control section; be sure that Motions and gestures, Smart screen, Air view, Voice contorl are turned off
Then go to Personalization Section & select Display, Then tick : Auto adjust screen tone.
Then go to MORE Tab and be sure that Location is turned off.
Turn Powersaving On, because in lollipop it won't make any lag like kitkat.
3) If you have Home button lag, so freeze Google Search (Blue Icon)

Debloats unnecessary services and apps on your OnePlus devices to give moar free ram and improve battery.
Works both on stable and beta and any device running oos11
Use it. If it affects your daily usage, don't.
New apps and services have been added in this version.
No seperate versions. Since most of the 9 and 9 pro series guys are rooted, they be using the oxygen updater app. The default updater keeps running in bg and hence, has been removed.
IN CASE U WANT TO UPGRADE, DISABLE MODULE, REBOOT, DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL UPDATE.
If someone wants services like OnePlus account or red cable club, go to apk mirror and install it from there.
Do not forget to flash Overlay mount fix from magisk repository else, u might end soft-rebooting your device.

People just need to tinker with things and complain. Nothing else
reviewed the debloater install halfway and it was clear you knew what you were doing so i just flashed it on crDroid and getting better stats (batt/mem) i debloated with the fdroid gui variant too so its nice to have a managed one thats updated someone smarter than i.
thanks u.

I was having trouble with the long screenshots after using this. It could have been something else though. Does this effect the package that take the scrolling screenshots and does anyone know yhe name of the package?

It's probably not much help, but my expanded screenshots still work as expected.
OK thanks. Just wanted to confirm
Something I found on Internet to describe what some process are:
# Chrome = Chrome browser. Be cautious as it will remove your webview, which is necessary to make some apps work. You should make sure you have one installed (Bromite or Android System Webview)
# CNEService = necessary in order to make VoWIFI work. Don't delete it if you're in the US (or any other country using it).
# colorservice = ???
# datastatusnotification = allows to cap data when you've reached the limit of your plan
# daxService = might be related to Amazon.
# DeskClock = clock app (not only widget, so don't delete except if you use another clock app)
# DiracManager = Audio manager for the OP6. Not necessary imo
# EmergencyInfo = could break double tap power button to launch camera, as well as being the app necessary to setup emergency info (obviously)
# GoogleTTS = Text to Speech, it's for disabled persons. I'm sorry if you need it but unfortunately it's useless for a majority of people.
# HotwordEnrollmentXGoogleWCD9340 = makes OK Google work (you might also to keep the Google app (Velvet)
# ManagedProvisioning = Work Profile Setup apk. It's useless for most people. Obviously don't delete it if your company gave you this phone, but then you shouldn't flash it in the first place!
# NVBackupUI = OnePlus Backup solution. goes with OPBackup
# OPAod = ambient display
# OPAppCategoryProvider = make battery stats work properly
# OPBackup = system updater
# OPBreathMode = New zen mode from OP
# OPCellBroadcastReceiver = gives you alerts when there's a big issue like a natural disaster, I've never seen it in action and I think most countries don't have it. It could be important to you so be careful.
# OPOnlineConfig = DONT REMOVE IT or you won't be able to boot.
# OPSafe = it allows to see data usage in settings
# OPSimContacts = breaks partially OP dialer if removed
# OpSkin = necessary for substratum
# QdcmFF = some Qualcomm software to make the screen better. I don't think it's used on the OP6 and it would probably make colors less accurate.
# Phonesky = Play Store
# PrintSpooler = if removed, break settings (bluetooth/connection preferences)
# PlayAutoInstallConfig = basically allows the OEM or the carrier to download application behind your back, great feature
# Qmmi = allows to check your hardware to make sure you don't have any feature not working (camera, vibrator, flashn, etc.)
# RemoteSimLockAuthentication = ???
# SeempService = solution from Qualomm meant to possibly fight against Malware... Don't trust it.
# SharedStorageBackup = not sure, probably related to Google Backup, caution with this one. Couldn't find any good explanation anywhere I've been using my phone without it for months without any issue.
# Stk = can be necessary for some banking apps (northern Europe apparently)
# Tags = NFC Tags (it's not used by 99,9% of the population)
# Turbo = device health services
# uceShimService = ???
# uimremoteclient = qualcomm bull****
# Velvet = Google app
# WebViewStub = not necessary with chrome webview
# WfdService = Wifi Direct
# workloadclassifier = ???
# usb_drivers.iso = when you plug your phone to your PC, it shows the phone as a CDROM so you can install drivers. Should be useless if you already have TWRP.
# GoogleOneTimeInitializer + OnePlusWizard + SetupWizard : to delete only after setting up the device
# /vendor/etc/apps : folder full of amazon junk apps.

I had the same problem earlier when I debloated my OnePlus 9 myself via ADB.
At that time, it was due to the OnePlus Gallery. After I reinstalled it, the advanced screenshot worked again.
The package name was "com.oneplus.gallery".
Hope this helps you a little.
