How to get sense like homescreen
- download this package - it contains the modified launcherpro, two dock backgrounds and fancy widget
- install the apks
- copy to the sd card the dock background images
- change the dock background to the desired one in launcherpro's preferences

Installation guide
Install Superboot (via Windows PC)
- Download Superboot: DOWNLOAD and extract to a directory
- Enter recovery mode by turning your device on while holding down 'volume down' and 'End call' then powering on your device.
- WINDOWS - double click 'superboot-windows.bat' (ensure the V845 is connected via USB)
Note: The hourglass (zandloper) stays on the home screen
- WINDOWS - double click 'superboot-windows.bat'
Phone will startup, seems to hang and eventually reboots itself.
Root the V845 (via Windows PC)
- Download AmonRA Recovery 1.6.2: DOWNLOAD OR download Clockwork Recovery 1.8.1.4 DOWNLOAD and extract the zip file
- Enter recovery mode by turning your device on while holding down 'volume down' and 'End call' then powering on your device.
Note: The hourglass (zandloper) stays on the home screen
- WINDOWS PC - (ensure the V845 is connected via USB) double click 'install-recovery-windows.bat'
- Remove battery and turn on your phone
Now your phone is rooted.
Custom ROM install
- Download the custom ROM.
- Copy the Custom ROM zip file to the root of the SD card trough your phone, if you dont want to use app2sd
- Shut down the phone and enter recovery mode by turning your device on while holding down 'volume up' and 'Start call' then powering on your device.
The following part is not important if you dont want to use app2sd!
Choose “Partition sd card” (control via DPAD):
- “Partition sd card”
- swap-size = 0 MB
- Ext2-size = 512 ext
- FAT32-size = Remainder (automatic setting)
- Confirm formatting/partitioning via DPAD (20 sec.)
- SD:ext2 to ext3
- Confirm EXT upgrade via DPAD (5 sec.)
- Volume Down to go to main menu
- Choose Power off
- Add the sd card in a card reader and copy the Custom ROM zip file to SD card (FAT32 partition).
- Again enter recovery mode by turning your device on while holding down 'volume up' and 'Start call' (green) then powering on your device.
Continuation of the installation process:
- Go to “wipe” where you select:
- Wipe data/factory reset
- Wipe Dalvik-cache
- Wipe SD:ext partition - this is also unnecessary if you dont want to use app2sd
Confirm each step above via DPAD
- Volume Down to go to main menu
- Choose “Flash zip from sdcard” and if everything is okay you can select the Custom ROM zip file. Confirm via DPAD to begin the install
- Choose Power off
Restart your phone and that’s it. You can use your custom ROM.
Note: First time the boot may take longer than usual.

One note for users:
If your language use some special characters (like Czech language - čžř etc.), you should rewrite fonts included in this ROM (/system/fonts/) by the original ones from MR.Edition. Do it before you flash this ROM or use adb to replace them after flashing it. Fonts in this ROM don't contain all the letters.

with TypeFresh tool you can easily change your fonts / available on the market
by the way sorry about that i will change the font with a better version, what contains the special characters in 1.1
nice rom, using it now. one thing is some fonts are dark when they should be light. apart from that, it's really good, thanks.

Hi! I really want to try your custom rom but i'm using Mr Edition 1.6.2 and don't want to loose all my settings and apps, although i don't mind to sync with google again
So can i just flash your rom without any other steps? If i need to wipe data/cache i will loose all my definitions, etc?

unfortunatly you must wipe everything before you flash this rom, becaus it isn't compatible with the MR edition
by the way you can easily backup and restore nearly all of your apps and data with Titanium Backup (available on market)
you can backup and restory all you data(system, settings, etc.... just everything) in RECOVERY MOD... very easy.. you dont need to download app from market.
IMO he wants to migrate his data form Mr Rom to the LR845-Rom

Nice ROM but i've got two problems with it. The touchpad seems smaller so it's harder to type something and LauncherPro can not be updated???
Hi, just installed this rom and like it so far, the only bug I found is that it fails to update the maps app, the error haves something to do about incorrect signing, anyone experienced the same?
I did installed goggles and gestures and both installed just fine.

I Installed it through recovery Because i have the new SPL So couldn't flash it through fastboot.
Via Recovery:
1. Copy recovery.img to the root of your sdcard
2. Boot into your current custom recovery (boot while holding HOME)
3. Connect your G1/mTouch 3G via usb to your pc/mac/...
4. In CMD go into your tools folder.
Type:
adb devices (to make sure that adb "sees" your device)
adb shell
#mount -a
#flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img
5. Then Reboot into recovery and you should the themed Recovery
Via Fastboot:
Must have an engineering SPL, Can't use New SPL.
1. Copy recovery.img to a location where fastboot can find it.
2. Boot your G1/myTouch 3G into fastboot mode (boot while holding BACK)
3. Connect your G1/myTouch 3G via usb to your pc/mac/...
4. In CMD go into your tools folder.
Type:
fastboot devices (to make sure that fastboot "sees" your device)
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot reboot
5. Then Reboot into recovery and you should the themed Recovery
Installation procedures:
Note: If you can install CM6 then you can install this ROM.
You must have a custom recovery image installed.
There is no SPL requirement, but Radio requirements are the same as if you were installing CyanogenMod 5 or 6. if you have a 2x or 3x radio dont mess with it. you're fine.
1.Move ROM.zip into SD Card
2.Enter Recovery
3.Flash Super Wipe(Mirror) Info found here
This will:
1) Call erase_image on CACHE, SYSTEM, USERDATA, and BOOT partitions
2) Mount /sd-ext (if it exists) and delete all files from it
3) Delete all files in the /sdcard/.android_secure directory which is where all the froyo apps2sd files live
4) Run e2fsck (file system repair) on the your ext partition
5) Log all output to the /tmp/wipe.log file (if you care)4.Power off Phone
5.Boot back into Recovery
6.Flash ROM

same here ive even un-rooted and rooted again
and no luck literally EVERYSINGLE rom i try my camera does not work...
ive tryd all stable CM roms, Sense roms and roms here on XDA..no luck on any

Gio this is one of the coolest looking Rom I tried so far. I know you put a lot of effort on the theme and I can say you did a great job congratulation.
Anyway I use EZTerry's 2708+ enabled kernel (14MB) and I have to flash ezBiffTestKernel20101106-2708_S.zip after installing this Rom just in case someone have rebooting issue after flashing this rom.

MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE YOU BEGIN.
The purpose of this ROM is to give you a near-stock experience with a few added features. It is not going to be loaded down with everything under the sun, and if at all possible, I want it to remain so that you won't even have to wipe your stock ROM before installing this. However, should something not work as it should (for example, app sideloading), make a full Titanium backup, then do a full wipe before installing again, then restore the app data you need through Titanium. Beginning with version 1.0.3, the need for a full wipe may become more necessary, as more system files get changed. In order to use SetCPU with the stock kernel (ClearDroid versions before 1.2.4), make sure you press "menu" and select "Disable PerfLock" first.

Before Installation:
-Make sure that you have cleared cache and dalvik cache in clockworkmod.
-Make sure that all covers are back on the device (MicroSD and battery door).
-Make sure you are formatted into EXT3 (the format that came with the Inspire) and not EXT4, which some other ROMs use.
-Do NOT use any Task Managers, Task Killers, Task Murderers, or Task Rapists applications with Android!!!! I cannot stress this enough. Also, if you feel a need to run an AntiVirus application on your device, BE SURE YOUR ROM WORKS PROPERLY BEFOREHAND. I have had numerous reports of users with errors that are Task Manager and AntiVirus app related. Also, READ THE PERMISSIONS BEFORE INSTALLING APPS. If a game requests to view your phone book, DON'T INSTALL IT. IT'S SHADY.
After Installation:

Questions and Answers:
Q: I flashed the FroYo ModPack, and the "+" is gone from my "H+" icon... did I lose my 4G?
A: No, it is still there, but some of the framework-res.apk files in the modpack had to be taken from the Desire HD in order for it to function properly. Since the Desire HD doesn't HAVE the H+ icon, it is missing, however your 4G connection is still there.
Q: I flashed the new radio and latest ROM, but my battery seems to be draining faster than ever. Is this normal?
A: Try flashing the radio one more time AFTER you flash the ROM, then charge battery to 100%, go into the "advanced" menu in clockworkmod, and "erase battery stats". Reboot the phone, and give it a couple of days to recalibrate the battery and you should be golden.
Q: I tried to flash one of the ROMs, but I keep bootlooping... what's going on?
A: Make sure that if you're coming from another ROM that you first install the proper Radio that ClearDroid uses, then do a full wipe along with a dalvik cache wipe (in advanced menu). This should guarantee a successful boot. If you've installed the A2SD version, make sure you have created an EXT3 or EXT4 partition on your microSD card using ROM Manager before installation.
Q: I flashed the new ROM, but my GPS is not working, or sporadic at best?
A: Try flashing the preferred radio a few more times after you've flashed the ROM. Also, try powering down your phone and removing the battery for around 30 seconds, then placing it back in and powering back up. For your first GPS lock, go outside in an open area so that the satellites have the best possible line of sight to you. After you gain an initial lock, subsequent locks will be faster, as your phone "knows where it is". Double and triple check that your battery door and MicroSD cover are on the device tightly, as these contain small contacts that will affect your radio signal. Take off any cases (such as OtterBox) from the device for your first initial lock.
Q: I have an app that is force-closing, what should I do?
A: Go to the market and update the application. If it doesn't update, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. If this does not work, go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All, select the application that is messing up, and clear its data and cache.
Q: Why won't my device go into bootloader when restarted holding volume down + power?
A: Make sure USB Debugging is on and Fastboot is off. If these are correct, on your phone, hold the power button and press "Restart", and hold volume down as the phone is restarting. It will vibrate as the screen goes black, then boot into HBOOT as the screen comes back up. If this does not occur, there may be a hardware problem with your phone.
A (alternate): Download and flash the modpack through clockworkmod, then boot the phone. Hold the power button, select "Restart", then "Bootloader". Your device will reboot into bootloader. If neither of these methods work, your device may also have a corrupt bootloader.

First rom ever, brother Wanted something that was exactly what I use everyday. Gotta have Sense (it's just fun), but I needed more than stock lol.
if you want a good boot animation you should look at tthe black stock htc boot animation in the themes and apps section, its pretty nice

The update script is for Ar/Coredroid or European roms data>local. I want to make the splash screen black as well but, I haven't read to much about it.

Assuming it works, it will be going in version 1.0.2 tomorrow. I'm also adding Adfree Android, but not actually ENABLING it in the Rom, so you guys can choose to enable it or not. It messes with Words with Friends, but it nicely takes the ads away from everything else.
And a splash screen is what I need to make with a logo of some type.

It will work just has to be renamed ATT_bootanimaition.zip and placed in >resources>customize.
Let me know what you want for a splash screen and I can try and make one. From what I have read it has to be flashed like an .img, but I'm not entirely sure.
Finally ... some ROM action not based off of the Desire HD. Thank you, I will be downloading this tonight to try out.

There are 2 ROMs by TPC that are based off stock Inspire as well. Those work great, haven't tried this one, but may if I get bored with the others.
ClearD, just wanted to wish you luck with your new rom. Nice job.

I like it because there are no patches, no APNs will be needed, no modifications at all. It will work right out of the box.

I'm having a lot of trouble getting the boot animation to stick. Definitely not stored where it should be... It's now booting to a black screen instead of showing anything at all, then loading into the ROM as normal. =/

This was built from a system dump - the firmware hasn't been released yet.

This device has very little internal space, so I have included Link2Sd app.
[*]If you wish to utilize this included app, you must do the following prior to installing the rom:
Partition the sd card as follows:
** NOTE - PARTITIONING THE SDCARD WILL ERASE THE CONTENTS **
- first partition will be created as a <FAT32> <Primary> partition.
- (leave about 512mb for the 2nd partition)
- second partition will be created as a <Ext2> <Primary> partition.
- this should be 512mb with 0 swap
Installation instructions:
- partition sd card (this will erase the contents)
- download rom (which is an update.zip for the stock recovery)
- put rom on the sd card
- power off phone
- slide open the keyboard and hold down the <T/5> button and the <Power> button until the recovery appears
- use the <Volume Keys> to scroll to <wipe data/factory reset> and hit the <Power> button to confirm
- use the <Volume Keys> to scroll to <wipe cache partition> and hit the <Power> button to confirm
- use the <Volume Keys> to scroll to <apply update.zip> and hit the <Power> button to confirm
- rom will install and reboot phone automatically
- first boot will take a minute
- open Link2Sd app - inform the app the 2nd partition is a <Ext2> partition and reboot phone
- open Link2Sd app after reboot - hit the <Menu> key then click on <Settings> tab
- check the <Auto Link> box and click on <Install Location> and click <Internal>
- most apps downloaded from market will default to the sd card
- you will have to open Link2Sd app after installing apps and move the app back to the phone
- then you will have to click each installed app in Link2Sd interface and click on <Create Link> and link all thats permitted
- this will solve the majority of the limited space issue with this phone
NOTES:
This phone seems to operate best when the CPU frequencies are set to 320 min and 800 max.
We can't overclock the phone until a kernel is developed. Samsung hasn't release the kernel or firmware yet.
Download No Frills Cpu from the market and set the frequencies to those specs.
The phone is defaulted to 245 min and whatever it needs up to 800.
At 245 minimum, it uses more battery power to "wake" and if it wakes frequently at this setting,
it really adversely effects battery performance.

the cdn version indeed is the galaxy q.. just like ours is the same line of phones..
so yes i cant see why flashing wouldn't work..
the only thing that comes to mind would be changing the apn settings.. im not sure
but i dont think you will get a data signal since me and arhtard are running on with
tmobile with a sim...if you have tmobile great if not and running a diff provider and hopefully not cdma... so thats probably the only issue i can for see.. as i flashed this rom with
zero error.
Just flashed this tonight on my friend's phone. Success! The stock recovery will show errors on nuking cache and data I believe, but they do get nuked. The spinning coin animation is nice! Where is it from? Am I safe to assume I can nuke other apps without issue via su?
Oh...and when is the next release and how can I help? I have a knack for programming/scripting.

you should be fine just adding the 2 drivesmart apps back to /system/app/ directory and setting permissions on them then reboot. if there is a problem - remove them and reboot and say no luck on drivesmart, sorry. if u cant reboot, pull battery and enter recovery and reflash

For lanuncher button no change is due to maybe you are using the sense launcher, almost all the sense apps cannot change, due to they are not using the framework from android, i am going to modified it also

I suggest you using holo launcher and if your status bar change , it mean you are installed

Install a custom launcher depend on your own, my tweak only modified the status bar , button for app taken button from Android and the popup bar seek Bar etc, for your home launcher ,is theme is depend on the developer of it

Move the clock to the center will let less thing can show in the status bar. and i think new battery icon is more clearly due to it can show 1-100%

To install the rom DARKROOM V4 XXL we must change the recovery:

When you leave the red LG logo, release Power and keep holding down the other two until it TWRP recovery.

0=384
1=404MHz
2=424MHz
Not everyone supports all frequencies.
So for example, if my GPU want to be 442MHz , has to change:

This new custom rom, and this whole zipaling deoxeada and thanks to able to skip the Lg protection and to do rom to our liking.

OPTION #2: V28b Prerooted with larger System/Data Partitions
This ROM is going to upgrade you to ICS, NO MATTER if you are on GINGERBREAD, on PORTED ICS or JELLYBEAN.
FLASH THIS ONLY IF YOU DON'T HAVE V28B PREINSTALLED AND ROOTED IN YOUR P920.
DONT FORGET TO KEEP A BACKUP OF YOUR INTERNAL SD AND YOUR DATA AT YOUR PC CAUSE ALL WILL BE ERASED.
If you want more space in SYSTEM and DATA PARTITIONS you can use this 28brtlarge.rar
This process is for advanced users.
Download and extract it..
Take a CWM BACKUP (NOT with 2nd init CWM or TWRP Recovery)
Take a BACKUP of your InternalSD DATA at your PC
Flash the BIN file with LG FLASHTOOL
Reboot
After it gets flashed PRESS VOLUME DOWN and POWER until the factory reset screen appears.
Factory Reset
After ANDROID starts go into your SETTINGS > STORAGE and ERASE INTERNAL MEMORY and restore your Internal SD Data from your PC
REBOOT to CWM RECOVERY
Format SYSTEM
RESTORE YOUR BACKUP
That's it

To install the rom DARKROOM V4 XXL we must change the recovery:
Bootloader 1.10+TWRP Recovery: VOL + / 3D Button and Power
When you leave the red LG logo, release Power and keep holding down the other two until it TWRP recovery.
Bootloader 1.10+TWRP
or
Bootloader 1.25+TWRP Recovery: VOL - / 3D Button and Power
When you leave the gray LG logo, release Power and keep holding down the other two until it TWRP recovery.
Bootloader 1.25+TWRP
Unzip the file to the desktop, open the folder and run the Unlock.bat
With the phone with the battery removed, put the USB and get a warning when 5 seconds .... put the battery and hopefully cmd screen is solid green. We already have the recovery position.
If bat file don't ends check you have installed
Let Device Manager.
Connect the phone without battery, only the usb and windows began to emit sound on and off, now we have to go to Windows Device Manager, and see how it comes and goes the OMAP4430 or Cosmo.
We must be vigilant and click with right button above, select update driver and select the previous rar, folder (usb_drv_windows) updated once disconnected the phone and go to the folder the bootloader.

INSTALLATION
DARKROOM V4 XXL IS ONLY IF WE HAVE to flash and partitions BIG IN EUROPEAN ICS XBSALL
Put the Rom in Phone Memory.
Entered the Recovery.
We WIPE ------ WIPE CACHE ------ FACTORY RESET ------ SYSTEM
Again all three times to make sure there is none of the above.
Install the. Zip
Reboot the phone, and hope has to start.
Once we start to install everything, and we start to configure it to our liking. It is recommended to restart the phone 2 or 3 times to settle everything.
To optimize a little more change these two values:
Settings> Developer Options
Window animation scale "change the value of 1x" to 0.5 x
Animation scale "change the value of 1x" to 0.5

This line is that you can modify to choose how often you want to run the gpu on your Optimus 3D, you can set it for the 0 to 2 inclusive, so that if you modify the value quoted by a number other than 0 will have another frequency.
Meaning of values:
0=384
1=404MHz
2=424MHz
Not everyone supports all frequencies.
So for example, if my GPU want to be 442MHz , has to change:
