If I dial a call, nothing happens for a few seconds, then, the application crashes.
It crashes BEFORE the other phone rings. After the crash message, the other phone
starts to ring. When the other person picks it up, they hear silence.
I have a teal "connected" Sipdroid icon in my status bar, after the crash message
clears. The only way to get rid of it is to power off the phone or kill the Sipdroid
process.
I'm using a N1 Froyo FRF91 2.2, and the SIPDROID version is 1.5.6.

Hi,
Do any of you 750 owners have seen this before?
Lately (a week or so ago) I started to get calls and the "notification" popup won't come up. I hear the ring and vibrate and there is a phonecall icon on the top bar next to the data arrows but the notification is missing so I can't see who's calling.
If/when I answer I can finally see the caller information.
This doesn't happen with every call (probably with about half of them per day).
Any idea or did you hear about something similar?
Thanks,
Zax.
Haven't had that particular problem, but I've had other issues when calls come in.
Sometimes (after I've put the device from silent to regular mode using the top slider) the phone doesn't ring and doesn't vibrate although the call notification is showing on screen. This gets fixed after one or more soft resets.
On a fair few other occasions - this is intermittent and extremely annoying - the phone doesn't react at all when someone calls me (no notification, no vibrate, no ring - nothing) but I get a audible and visible missed call notification after the caller has given up / been diverted to voicemail. This problem goes away of its own accord eventually; restarts don't seem to have any effect.
Seriously, if this device wasn't a fairly good PDA as well as a phone, I'd put it in the bin.
Every time a call ends, i get a "call ended" notification pop up telling me how much time it was.
is there a way to get rid of this notification, its really annoying.
It only does that when you end a call and you are not on the main "call" screen. If you disable touchscreen while on calls it is very hard to get off of that screen (unless you want to) and you won't get the popup.
Your cheek is probably touching something thats making the screen change.
thanks, it does seem to only happen when i leave the Call screen.
i wish i could turn it off completely though.
i just noticed now that im having issues with the phone being delayed when i get a call. my bluetooth headset will make a sound announing that a call is coming in but the treo wont show the caller id or ring for at least 3-5 seconds after. its very strange. even the screen goes on but it takes a while for the caller id pop up to show up.
is anyone else having this problem, is there a way to fix it?
So I was typing a message this morning when a call came in. Before I even realized it, the incoming call screen popped up and I hit the Decline button. Is there an app or mod or setting I'm not aware of that will keep the incoming call screen from coming up when another app is in use? I read that CyanogenMod has a setting like that. The phone rings and a notification appears but the Accept/Decline buttons don't pop up immediately. Is there a way to get that functionality on a Sense ROM?
My samsung mega doesn't ring only some time. If it doesn't ring the call will go to voice mail. If the caller hangs up before it goes to voice mail I never know I was called because it doesn't show a missed call or is it in call log. I have read all I can find here and other places and my problem isn't exactly same as mine.. All sound is on and volume is up. I also know this since it does ring some time...Now on the dialer pad on the # key there is a icon looks kinda like a speaker with a line through it. I can't remove it, what is it. Even though it is there the phone will still ring sometime
Any help appreciated
I just got a Motorola Droid Ultra XT1080. When it was first set up my phone rang with each incoming call. Then all of the sudden (something I did, I am sure) it started announcing when I got an income text, a feature I didn't want. I played around with it and somehow I got it to stop doing that! HOWEVER, now my incoming calls don't ring at all. I get audible notification when I get a voicemail message, receive texts, facebook and email notifications, etc. I have checked my settings and the volume is turned up, ringtone selected and such. Also, if I call my number from another phone it goes straight to voicemail and (as the caller) there is no ringing - just voicemail immediately.
Can anyone give me advice/input on why my phone no longer rings with an incoming call and why every call goes straight to voicemail???
Thanks!
Sara
