Looking for G Tablet

Looking for a G Tablet in nice condition. Please keep in mind brand new ones from retailers are going for $360. I'm pretty new here but have feedback at other forums(overclock.net,howardforums, and headfi) and ebay.

sell you one for 350 plus a 16gb card and a custom case if you want. plus box and everything etc.

6ave now has it for $343 with a coupon code so.... Keep your offers reasonable.

I may entertain selling mine however the mini USB is loose and would require you to solder it back in place. Everything else works. I was thinking $250. Would come with TNT Lite installed. I do have the custom skin on the back and a Kindle case too. The original box and cloth would be included too.

I have one for $300 shipped USPS w/ paypal. Brought it new from Sears a few months ago. Everything is working fine and there's no major scratches. Email me if you're interested. I have one as well with the original box and cover and have no scratches on the screen. I had ipad screen protecter on the gtablet since I have bought it. You can have it for 325 shipped with box and cover and all of the proms and kernel saved in nice folders.

I had a few scratches on the back of mine - thus the reason I wanted the carbon fiber skin. The dock has hardly been used and the leather case I have only had since janurary.

That = $470 and you want me to take a $200 hit cause you want a deal. It's barely used, it is brand new. Good luck finding one in this condition for that price with these accessories, but I am not going to make it easy for you.

I bought my g Tablet from them for $349.99 on 3/16. I am returning it. Also, I got one from woot this week.

I bought one from tigerdirect.ca on Sunday for $399CAD (received it Tuesday). I just emailed them and they're refunding me the $60 difference on the new price drop.

Exact thing happened to me. I missed their $20 deal by 1 day, bought it for $399 on Sun, got it a couple of days ago and today it's on for $60 less...
So what did you say to persuade them to give you the refund?

man i shoulda waited for this deal instead of jumping on woot. The shipping at tiger is dirt cheap in contrast to other etailers and I could expect the product to be shipped same day. Now since woot doesn't have a real order history that shows order status, I have to basically watch it like a hawk to see when my order ships because my area is high crime. Most packages get stolen if not immediately intercepted.

Buggah, can't order online for international delivery.
Have to make phone call.....

Just ordered mine with 2-day shipping. $311, not bad considering Office Depot was $379 and Sears was $399.

If video chats were viable, I would have no qualms in buying my 2nd unit from CC/TD/Compusa

Many thanks to the OP and all who posted here. I did pick up one from Tiger Direct today using the posted code.
I dithered all day on the Woot deal finally telling myself not to buy version one of anything. Then was at Best Buy and played with the iPad one and two which sold me on the concept.
With Woot charging sales tax and Tiger not I will actually save about $2.

Just to note, it's a few more states than that:
"We only charge tax in FL, IL, NC, TX, GA, SD and ID"
(I knew they'd have to charge tax in IL because they have a warehouse in the Chicago burbs and have a couple stores as well)

thunderbolt independence day sale........

Anyone heard of or expecting big red to put the thunderbolt on sale for 4'th of July? I recall verizon having a sale on memorial day sale & also remember Amazon having the thunderbolt for $129.00 with free shipping.
If I can get into a thunderbolt this weekend for $150.00 or less, I'll jump on it.

If so, do you think they'll honor the discount for new customers who are still within the 14 day cancellation period? I just got my TB and VZ service on monday.

I got my Thunderbolt from Amazon Wireless last week for $129 (I was on Tmobile without a contract).
Aaargh, right now it is $99 for new subs!

If so, then yes. If the first rep you speak to says no, then ask for a manager (not a "supervisor') and they'll most likely give you even more of a discount for yor troubles.

FWIW, since I noticed that Amazon Wireless went down to $99 for the Tbolt, I called them and politely asked for the difference, since i just got the phone and "am still within my return period."
I had a very helpful and cute sounding CSR, and she actually refunded the $30 difference! w00t! Thanks, Amazon!

I actually was about to order my TBolt from Amazon last week (New Customer Switching Over From At&t) until I decided to drive around to a couple of stores and see if I could get the same pricing as Amazon so I wouldn't have to wait for shipping (Patience Is Not My Virtue....). After going to a couple of stores and being told that they would not budge from the $250.00 price I gave up and went to the Mall with the wife. I came across a Best Buy Mobile store and decided to give it one last try....
I told the guy that Amazon was offering me the phone for $130.00 with free shipping and after he spoke to his manager he came back and told me he couldn't do the $130.00 price but that he could give me the phone for $150.00 with one month of black tie protection, the buy back program and a car charger or case (me and my wife both picked the case). We immediately said yes and had our TBoltz rigth there and then.
FYI:
After closely looking at the receipt I noticed that what they did was give me the phone for $100.00 bucks and then sell me the buy back program and the one month of black tie protection. The case was a complete freebie seeing that it cost 30 bucks (Platinum Best Buy Case). Total cost in the end for the phone was like $140.00 bucks....

[INFO] An FYI if you bought HP Touchpad accessories full price

Just an FYI if you bought the Touchpad case or Touchstone charger full price from stores such as Staples or Office Depot. Most of these stores have a policy of refunding the difference if they drop the price shortly after you bought it. In Staples' case, it is 14 days. Bought my case at Staples for $50, since they were almost sold out and no one else in town had them. Next day, it dropped $20, refund was no problem.

No coupon needed, but just in case print off the discounted item from their website.

Got it at Walmart of all places and even though on their own website it was listed for $35.00 they would not sell it to me at that price, thats probably why they still had one in stock, she said we are not price matching to which I replied even if its your own price?
seems kinda dumb I am going to keep looking see if I can come up with one somewhere else but I will keep an eye on Walmart in case they drop the price and go back and get the difference back....maybe if I write an email to them explaining the situation???

This post is in regards to if you're in the US and ordering from Essential from the pre-registration.
Black vs White? Only Black is shipping in the next week. White is a "few weeks" out still. Who knows about Ocean Depth and others. (As of now, matte white isn't even promised to ever be available even after the big deal that Andy made of it on the reveal interview.)
There are no reviews out yet. Hopefully soon!
The 360 camera ships later. Nobody knows when later is.
Essential has a 15-day 100% money back return policy. Their Return Policy page is quite simple but there are some additional clauses in the purchase agreement that don't show up in their return policy page, notably about the theft detection mechanisms (it's unclear what this is exactly, if it's anything more than the standard Android thing that you can disable when resetting the phone).
Essential is offering a 2-yr extended warranty via Assurion that costs $99 for 2 years and has a $99 deductible for claims. Details here. Alternatively, tech_head below has shared some great info on 2-3 year Square Trade options, including a coupon for a discount.
Hopefully this info is helpful to somebody! I'm sure there's more info that can be added but these were a lot of things that weren't very obvious and took quite a bit of digging around to find. Enjoy!

I'm looking at the warranty. I read the terms.
It states that they can replace it with a phone with less features *AND* if they pay you out, it's based on "market" value as deemed by them.
I think I'll pay $160 for 3 years of Square Trade. Better terms. They refund full price if no repair is possible or if they can't find an identical refurb.

Do you have a link where that can be bought, or at least a starting point? I'll add it to the OP for others. I'm with you, I prefer SquareTrade, although I'm not sure I'd get a 3 yr plan. No way I'd not upgrade after 1-2 years.

Two years is $149 but if you use the code Aug20, you get $20 off. I have used them for tablets, cameras and my LG watch.
I have filed a claim for different types of devices.
1. Full refund on a tablet.
2. Another tablet repaired.
3. Camera couldn't be repaired and the sent me a refurbished.
4. LG Urbane 2 got water damaged. They sent me a replacement from LG still in the box with all new accessories.
As far as 3 years, it's another $30 and you can transfer it when you buy a new phone. Better resale value.
