Hey guys,
I'm currently working on a new android game called Caravel using the 3D Engine Ardor3D.
It will be a strategy based game, using a hexagonal board where players gather resources, build & explore to achieve victory first.
This explanation might be very vague, but this is because the basic game rules change on each mission in the campaign.
Release: Beta planned for somewhere next week.
Features:
- 18 Mission Campaign
- Multiplayer (3G/Wifi or Push Notification), and multiplayer with PC-client is planned
- Smooth rendering (25-30FPS) on all hardware >= Nexus One.
- Switch between large 3D models, or flat 3D models of the hexagonal tiles.
Requirements:
- Android 2.1+
- Capable of running Ardor3D Demo (located on market, or here: http://www.ardor3d.com/wiki/android_boxexample)
A sneak preview of the campaign:
Level 5: Co-operation
Teams are made up of 2 each in which the players co-operate.
Players in a team will get to play in a round-robin fashion, with a maximum of resources they can spend per turn, and a increase of the maximum amount of resources they can hold. Army size and road size are accumulated.
Goal: Get enough victory points
Level 6: Dynamic Market
The market on the isle changes rates according to:
- Abundance of tiles of a given resource / Potential Income
- Usage of resource within the game
- Amount of resource at any point in possession in the game.
Goal: Get enough victory points
Level 8: Workers && Hidden Tiles
Instead of Dice, the player can put 2 workers per town on a field, which will give an income at the beginning of each turn.
Only 1 worker can be set on a field.
The order of player turns is randomized at the start of each turn.
A special card can be drawn which lets the player be first in selection of workers.
A City will give you 3 workers instead of 2.
A fog will hide certain tiles, and will not become visible until you build something near them.
Goal: Get enough Victory points

This looks great. Will keep checking back for a beta version. I've been hankering for this kinda thing since I came to android, so am quite excited. Keep up the good work.

This lite version is the current BETA release, but completely stable.
We will continue adding new levels to the game and release a full, non ad-supported version when the first campaign is finished.

By default, sound is turned off for the game, but can be enabled by selecting the sound icon in the main menu!
We released version 1.0.4;
Stupid java.utils.Arrays.copyOf wasn't introduced until API 9... >_<
(That's the problem of working with a game as an external library...)
Also, we fixed all bugs found so far, and decreased the difficulty level!

We're currently implementing a new event system which will allow more dynamic maps like destroyed towers due to air bombardments, endless levels and more.
Due to exams weeks next week, the big update probably won't be out till next weekend.
Can't rush perfection ;] liking the game! I own Robo defense the #1 tower game... but this could be way ahead of it, I love it!!!

Just installed now on my Xoom.
Scales correctly and looks quite interesting.
Menu isn't really clear when launching new campaign - maybe you could grey out those that can't be entered.
Could you specify on what you mean by "those that can't be entered"?
At the moment there should not be any campaigns with requirements.
(There will be in the future and they should be clearly marked)
We are going the rework the "Start X (Campaign/Level)" button though, as it's a bit unclear now.
I have been playing it some more (quite nice )
I have found the following bugs though -
Second map - when i pinched to zoom the game force closed.
The ground laser does not focus on the first enemy that enters the map but on the last one - therefore when a lot come after each other the laser doesn't shoot at any.
EDIT - Actually second level just force closes even when not zooming.

What device are you playing the game on, and what android version?
Also, did you send in the report to the market?
I'm loving this so far. I have some ideas that would help the user experience, maybe have some kind of list of enemies with there abilities and weakness/strength (ie. Which towers deal more/less damage to them).
It also seems as if the machine gun is the best/only tower needed. The other towers cost more but don't seem to be worth it, when the machine guns do just as good or better for less money.
Also it would help to know what determines how much money we get for the upgrade menu (not in game, the one at the main menu) is it a set amount per level, does a higher difficulty increase the amount, do we get more if we complete a level faster than the time allotted?
And last but not least, great job, especially for keeping the battery usage down while having good graphics and gameplay. The best defense game I found so far is hexdefense, but it uses a lot of juice as do most of the good tower defense games, I was surprised this game is so battery friendly.
Great game with some innovative mechanics. Can't wait to see how it will shape up.

We released 1.1.2 a couple of days ago, which should address a LOT of issues (and introduce new features).
If you have ANY comments, please post them. We're a tiny developer group of students, and if the feedbacks is in any way structured, we'll try to incorporate it into the game!

- BatteryManagement: The game's pretty optimized in almost every sense possible (except for rewriting everything in C ;-)); and limited at 60fps as we found that our lowest target (Nexus One) can run the game at 60fps. So any phone above this grade will have a easy time, and lot's of horsepower to spare which we made sure wasn't used up in idling.
- Money for UpgradeMenu: This isn't a fixed number, and depends on how much score you get in a game, a variable which scales with difficulty, time and lives. We plan on adding the total per level to the LevelOverScreen.
- Overview of Enemies: Also a planned feature for 1.5 :-D
To clarify, 1.2 will be considered completely stable with the current features and probably be released in a week.
1.5 will have some extra features and be released mid January.
- Tactics / Machine Gun: The very least you should need to use the aura turret, which gives you slow; and combining the Artillery/Laser with particular patterns of machine gun turrets should almost be necessary at the higher difficulty levels.
The beginner difficulty levels are setup in such a way that the player shouldn't have any difficulty in finishing any of the levels with just the machine gun/aura turrets.
Something from the Russian market comments: most people say the game is good, but unstable. There are also many people complaining that the game doesn't support lower end devices, as many people have cheap carrier branded devices (mostly mdpi and lowres screens, eg ZTE Blade/Racer and LG Optimus One).

At the moment we only support hdpi+ (as we need to redo the UI for low res devices).
The strange thing is that this is indicated in both the description and the restrictions.
Speed-wise the game runs on lower-end devices, as we tested it on the HTC Wildfire, but the UI needs to be adjusted first.
About the stability: we released a giant bugfix update last week, so these should be adressed.
Unfortunately most people here tend to completely ignore all those notes. An app doesn't work on your screen? One-star it and go whine on the forums, even though it was never supposed to work.

Probably support mdpi... It's the screen that is the main problem with those, not the CPU...

Hi I have the paid version but I would like to report some bugs that I experience in both paid and free versions.
1. No music when starting a new game on occasion. When you get to the next part where new music starts then music with play.
2. Sometimes when collecting stars you get double points and the sound effect plays twice.
3. Limited touch response though rare
4. Occasional force close when starting a new game (only noticed since upgrading to paid version)
5. When I bought a character I was told I did not have enough money but the character unlocked anyway. This only happened once and was the free version.
I am using the Acer Iconia A200 with ICS.

Venture through puzzle-filled dungeons to bring the past back to the present!
The 'Chronus Fragments' are needed to prepare for the 'Time Rewinding', which only takes place once every 10 years. Will you be able to get them?
On their way to the Chronus Shrine to get the Fragments, Loka and Teth are surrounded by a mysterious man named Geppel and his gang. They demand the Fragments.
While Teth plays for time, Loka, the main character, rushes out of the cave on his own to fetch reinforcements. He is successful, but Teth and Geppel are nowhere to be found.
Aiming to gather information about his missing teacher, Teth, and Geppel, who is trying to get his hands on the Fragments, Loka decides to set out on a journey. Accompanying him is Sarna.
The game features familiar quests, but also dungeons filled with puzzles to solve, and characters who grow and develop as the story progresses.
Also, in the 'Ancient Halls' in the towns, by using CA points you can purchase extra dungeons and special items.
- Dungeons with puzzles to solve
Set skills as you want- but be aware of the limited 'cost levels'!
In the dungeons there are various puzzles which need to be solved. There are boxes and pots which need to be moved, switches which need to be pushed to make something happen, and you will sometimes even need to make use of enemies to get past the obstacles which lie in your path.
Even if you fail to solve a puzzle, you can reset it with just a button press, so it's easy to try as many times as you want to.
- Incredible monster animations
You will be amazed by the monsters' spectacular animations!
You will randomly find yourself in battle when in the field, and in dungeons, you will start a battle if you touch an enemy.
Battles are conducted by selecting commands, with a turn-based system.
Some enemies may be surprisingly weak against certain elements. It's always a good idea to turn the battle to your advantage by trying to find these weak points.
- Class changes
In the shrine in Iatt, you can change your class.
In order to do so, though, you need to be at a certain level, and you need to have gained certain items especially for class changes, which will disappear when you use them.
After a class change, the character's title will change, and his/her level will return to 1, but any learned magic and skills will not be forgotten, and the character's previous status will be carried over to an extent.
Characters become stronger with each class change, so it's a good idea to change regularly!
- The tutorial function makes play easy even for beginners!
There are tutorials for how to solve the puzzles in the dungeons, how to search for items, etc., so you don't have to be an expert to enjoy the game!
- Extra dungeons
You can obtain points depending on the number of monsters you've defeated, and with these points, you can access extra dungeons, with many fiendish puzzles to solve!
There are also many items to make your progress through the adventure easier.
*While IAP content requires additional fees, by no means it is necessary for finishing the game.

Just wanted to add this game is not full screen. It is more like Machine knight.... aka 480x800 rather then 480x854 like on our screen. Not a deal breaker but wanted to let everyone interested know.

I didnt review the game, merely copied the description from the download link above. Although perhaps I should review some of Kemco's games as I find they are my favorite games to play other then Modern Combat 3 and MC4.
Just got the email. Kemco needs to slow down, its almost one RPG a month now.

- Undergo Revelations!
Fulfill certain conditions during combat to learn new skills and special attacks, such as spells and tandem attacks. These revelations occur when a character uses certain skills upon reaching a certain level or element level. Experiment with different attacks, and master all the skills!
- Earn TP and unleash special attacks!
Technical Points (TP) are awarded when you attack enemies and use items during battle, or when you are hit by enemy attacks. When your TP reach 100%, you can unleash powerful special attacks and support skills. The fastest way to accumulate TP is to be hit by enemy attacks, so plan your party formation accordingly. Note that your partner's TP must also be at 100% when performing tandem attacks.
- Use magestones to raise your element levels
Magestones and magestone shards, found in treasure chests and on enemies, can be used to raise your characters' element levels. Not only do they enable you to acquire even more powerful spells and skills, but they increase your chance of experiencing revelations. Be sure to use them often!
- FMP
Fortuna Magus Points (FMP) are purchasable points used for buying rare items and special equipment during your adventures. Every time you defeat a certain number of enemies, you will receive 1 FMP free of charge.

This game looks great!
Correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't Kemco have a huge library of JRPG's made for a framework of some kind that they've been slowly bringing over to Android? I thought that was how they are able to keep releasing games at such a ridiculous pace. The games have already been made, Kemco just translates and ports them using a unified framework. Like taking a Flash game and repackaging it into an APK(bad example, I know), though much more involved than that. So Kemco is kinda like the Working Designs of Android.
If you search Google play store for kemco games they have a ton. All our JRPG. And if you search kemco for Japan. They about three times as many games. However what's new is basically the 3-4 new English games fir the play and those not designed for the play are brand new titles.
I literally own every single kemco game that is listed as XPO. Zero regrets. Every game has been very worthwhile. And yeah I guess you could say they are the Working Designs of android JRPG gaming....LOL
Every game they release I always leave feedback k on the game and on their Facebook page thanking them for continuing support of our beloved device. They literally almost always support the PLAY. So as long as they see the gratitude I am sure they will support our device. Also, can't wait for Alphadia Genesis. Hope it will be the first 3D JRPG and is XPO.

have you guys reach the 2nd ending yet? i have finish the game about 4 hours but finding the new ending is now more than 10 hours.

Greetings , Last Year i worked on a small project of mine called ProjectBlaster. Then name is silly I know , I was never good at naming things and it sounds pretty decent for what i wanted to make.
This games is a simple 2D arcade wave based shooter where you have to survive as much as you can against your enemies.
There will be different kind of enemies for you to fight the higher you get the harder the game becomes. Score the highest score , earn coins and upgrade your ship to become stronger.
I really would like some feedback for this game it my first ever fully released game on google play. I work on this alone and on my free time. All Assets are free and not belong to me although I made few UI elements on my own. Let me know what you think!
