Sorry guys, I couldn't come up with a catchy title.
Anyway, what I am looking for is basically the stock rom, but instead of red presets etc...I would like them blue. Not like the Gala X theme, but Royal (ish) blue? Nothing crazy, just anywhere there is red, change it to blue. Can anyone help me with this?
A darker blue is on my to do list... im a bit overwhelmed at the min though...

Even with everything I have on my plate, im really getting motivated for this blue idea. I might start on it today, if possible. Send me a pm of all the detail your looking for, status bar, drop down menu, home icons or LP, everything you can think of. run around to different themes and tell me all your likes and dislikes. The more I have to work on the quicker i can pop it out. The droid does swype will be included with dark blue,

ive tried betterkeyboard and swipe and both seems to drain the battery a bit much and are not very accurate. is there any themes out there for the standard touch input keyboard? it actually isn't bad at all but i hate the white color.

im testing to see if I have the files pinned down. If I do then I should be able to do a grey but prob not black as I know nothing of code and you ould have to change the color of the actual letters in code.

im actually testing Noj's white rosie along with a few other people. he is planning on releasing it to the masses along with flipz kitchen so hopefully it wont be too much longer.

sorry I mis-spoke its not just the rosie its actually a complete theme he is working on so the task bar is part of it. but like I said shouldnt be too much longer before it gets released.
The black keyboard works awesomly..
On the first boot I got an fc for Google maps, and it appears to have your custom dictionary!
But no big deal its pretty sweet. This should be in the themes sticky!
Ps. The highlights are blue like from the blue espresso theme. Not a bfd.

not sure why it would FC maps maybe just a coincidence. the dictionary is actually from fresh 1.1 I used the apk from there. thats also why the highlights are blue.
I really need to get a dump of all the stock system apks to build from.
edit: ok after looking at the files again I see the files that need to be changed to get things back to green but I dont have time right now before I go to work. ill go through and get a green version going when I get home tonight for all those that dont like blue.
I like the keyboard, and the blue I think looks good with the black keys......

agreed, id like to be able to flash the old one back. the background color is great but can you make the letters on the keys white or very light grey in color?

You could just unzip fresh or any other 1.5 sense ROM, then push the HTC_IME.apk from within it onto you phone.

I would assume so, but haven't tried it. Worst it would do is mess up the keyboard so might want to pull a backup copy of it first but no reason why it shouldn't work just fine.

Did a nandroid tried to apply w/ metamorph and keyboard didn't change at all, oh well.
Dark transparent theme looks great on my Droid. Could you make a black keyboard with white letters too?
Fixed bad .9 patch that made both the dark themes stretch look terrible. I have updated the morphs (same location and file name) and screenshots above. If you applied either dark skin already I suggest downloading again and applying. It looks even better now!

Try redownloading it, sounds like bad download. I just applied it no problem.
I FINALLY got the keyboard to install in /system/app without FC every 3 seconds and managed to get it themed.... woohoo!
I had to install Clicker.apk and HTC_IME.apk via Astro first, then I pushed HTC_IME.apk from my PC to /system/app without uninstalling the one I installed via Astro, and then reinstalled it (when I pushed it, it became uninstalled... not sure why). After that, it worked. I'm not sure of the logic behind all this. All I know is now it works!
Tried out the dark with transparent background... worked fine for me. However, I preferred the look of the regular with transparent background for now. Can't wait to see some more themes come out

Sounds great! If you manage to change the text color, I'd love to see a matte black skin with white text and blue accents (such as the orange accents on the normal skin). A glass black could be pretty cool too if it's done right

This Mod is like DamageR_2.7 ULT editionI wouldve just updated, but
there are ALOT of changes so it is separate. Same deal as with
DamageR though, all the fixxes in 1 rom; so it is large, i spent yesturday slimming it
down, i knocked off 10mb. Takes ave 8-9min. for initial boot,from then

When i first started this i didnt realize i couldve made them opaque, so i
just patterned the stat bar and made it 30% transparent so i could see
the clock. When i was going through everything i was looking for all the
rosie and jog buttons. ill have to go back and find them again, so i just
put it up and ill get it when i get a chance.....Its not as easy to fix them
for me as it is for you, im 5days into themes so give me a week or two

I like to keep things new, so i had to switch it up I was working on
one with optimus prime transforming from a truck into a robot(to keep with
the transformers theme) but i have to mess with it a little more....also i was
leaving in the original kb too, but when i slimmed it down i had to choose....and i
like the aosp one better now,seems a little more accurate. Glad you like it
so far, pm me and ill get you a cool kb. Also before DamageR i made a
vanilla mod, that im revamping with what i know now. If you are not a sense
fan you would like this one. The bootscreen from that one is my favorite.
its called 3-d mod. Also if you want another boot screen you have another
one in the system/media folder, just use file explorer go into the folder
rename it bootanimation.zip and change the name of the other one by a
letter or # and you will have another bootscreen

If you want...i have clear taskbar icons available for themers to use. They are on my Thearmo page, at the bottom under the add-ons. Download them, and drop them into your res folder, and viola! you wont have those black squares around your task bar icons anymore!

I was happy with it and im currently working on alot of new projects....all my roms are generally an advance in my work and skills....but i support my mods and anyone that dls them 100% so if i cant make you something better or you dont like any of my new stuff, what would you like to see done to OptimusRom? I saw damages newest release yesturday, so i put this little mod together for myself so i could check it out. I can never just flash the plain rom anymore, w/o modding it first, so when im done i just take out the paid apps and then ul for others that may like it. pps were asking me for a green mod so this is what i did. Its damage, just skinned with a new rosie,htc weather clock,themed lockbar,status bar header,status bar bottom, and changed font to comfortaa. I also fixed my EVO modded main nav scroller.Make sure you check out the new suped up dconfig ui. its sharp.

Yeah, i can do that, i used to hate the factory rosie but now i love it because i can do SO many things to it. To a mod freak like me, thats where its @. The other rosie is pretty basic. I like to replace it using my own shapes, but if you want it what color? my buddy drew wants it too. Colors are pretty limited to Black or a type of green between dark green and neon green. Lemme know. Glad you like it.

The easiest way to do that and the way i do, is to get ur setup perfect, then nandroid. Verify the nandroid. WIPE. Flash the new rom. Set it up to ur liking. Nandroid. REPEAT(this requires some space on sd and hd to backup).I wish it was that easy. If i could whip them up id have every color When i have some inspiration, ill be working on a blue next, if i have time maybe ill try and spit out two themes @ once. pm you when its/they are finished.
Like i explained in ops, i setup the whole rom so you get everything working the way its supposed to. Easier on everyone. If you dont like my work, just nandroid.You wont need it any time soon though

You can get it but on phone it is rather difficult to dl a 180mb file w/o corrupting the dl by slow data transfer speeds & combo of what type of sd you have it saving to. I can gurantee it works from pc and that is your best bet. I cant count the roms ive dl'd but never once have i dl'd with phone directly. I actually assume it would not complete and just waste my time. Sorry about that. If i knew another way id gladly share. If you have any other issues ill try my best to get you up and running.

yea dark green to match the theme if you would not mind
possibly remove the EVO from above the phone button if its not to much trouble

Download and rename to .zip.
You can then open it with 7zip or winrar and peek inside.

Attached are the downloads.
I have tested the Green and it installed flawless. I did not test the others as the files only had name changes and the xml was modified to match those name changes.
As always Make a backup before applying any ROM or theme. im not responsible for any errors but will help if anything goes wrong.
Download Metamorph from the market (Please try to support the developer buy purchasing the pro version if you can)
I always unzip the files to the /Sdcard/Androidthemes/.
Open metamorph and let it do its checks. Then click on the Pick existing theme. Depending on which file u have downloaded and extracted to androidthemes choose SwypeColor (Of course color would be the color you have downloaded). then click on the SwypeColor.xml The description will popup with the information. Click close then chose apply all. Let it do its magic. When it finishes reboot. When it completes its reboot go to settings>keyboard and language>Check swype and setting swype as input method. When you attempt to use the keyboard it should load.

I left the tracer as the stock cyan blue-ish color thats in it, I didnt really look into changing it.
Honestly I can do any color, would prefer to keep this theme down to like 5 versions right now. So I guess first 5 come first 5 served lol. Yes it has full support for everything the Droid X can utilize.
If you post a link to changing the tracer color Ill look into to. Cant do much at my current location due to work. Also kinda lazy atm but more along the lines of work reason not to tho =þ
Mods: Can the stock Swype.apk be posted? I know the beta cannot but Im not sure about the stock Swype that comes with the DX.
Like a black keyboard and a white keyboard too? It would really help me on my theme.

Ok. I have 6 in total cooked up right now. Ill post them when I get home. The 6 are Blue, Green, Purple, Red, Orange, and Grey. I got tired of waiting for requests so I had my girlfriend pick out 5 more colors lol.

Well I did research and found out I can not post a full apk of the Swype app. Ive currently finished researching how to make a metamorph theme and am making a backup and then I will test it out to make sure it installs correctly.

what about some honeycomb touch in it
It did install good but I need better instructions for installing because my phone is not liking the grey swipe
