Is there a way to change the way i answer my incoming calls,I mean instead of sliding to answer, just have like a answer or decline?
If you go into settings /call settings/all calls, there's an option to answer calls using the home key

Hello all
Looking for an option/app to make one contact's ringtone ringtone (tone) at all times at a certain vol level.
Has anyone heard of such app?
Reasoning is I am a member of the volunteer fire department and they recently made it available to receive tones/pages via txt messages. And I want to make that contact tone even if my phone is set to vibration.
Thanks in advance

I found an app that kinda does what I am looking for:
Android Market - Ring Loud Contacts
Only problem is that is only appears to work for voice calls, not SMS messages.
Is there a way I can assign a specific ring tone to people that txt me?
I have different ring tones set up for actual calls, but for text message they all have the same tone. Is there an app I have to get? or am I just screwed?
Thanks in advance.
Probably have to use a market sms app and set rings for contacts that way. Pretty sure gosms let's you customize individual contacts

Go sms does

GoSMS Pro and Handcent both allow you to do that, I'm guessing the other market SMS apps will too.

Hi,
I'm getting a strange issue with a relatives One S and trying to figure out how to address it. Whenever she is in a middle of a call and someone else calls in, the phone no longer makes an audible sound notifying her that there is an incoming call. She has to keep an eye the screen to see the visual notification instead, which results in missing calls since she is not looking at it during the duration of the call.
Is there a method to resolve this?
Thanks
Changed anything recently?

Check settings, call, additional options, call waiting and make sure it's enabled.

Update:
The relative told me this morning, the call waiting audio notification is working again.
In terms of if anything changed, yes I got the phone de-branded using the guide.
