Is there any way that the iPhone G4tv app can be ported over to the android platform (evo)

I would think not. TWO different platforms. So I doubt it can just be ported. or we would have a crap load of polished apps.
I already shot them a twitter message they said an android app is in the works.

Nova game??

I just heard about this game nova, a friend of mine, has an evo n its not rooted he told me he just did an update from Sprint and it includes this bad add game nova... and also the blockbuster app
I searched for nova in the market and I found nothing, I also tried to download it and install it as a third party app and the game recognized it was not an original copy, so how does this guy at work have it and I can't seem to find this game???

You have to buy it from gameloft...its not in the market

Are you rooted? If you are rooted and running a ROM based off the 3.7 OTA then you should have the demo either already installed or in a removed apps folder on your sd card.

Did you do the ota? If so, you have the demo for it, too. If you haven't done the ota, then do it, and you'll have it afterwards. If you're rooted, flash a rom based off of the newest ota.

Why buy it when Sprint gives it free with v3.70 ROM?

You only get the demo from Sprint...the full game is $4.99 from Gameloft.

I just updated, now I have the game but its not the full game its only the demo

You should of not updated. Now your stock with the demo that can't be uninstalled unless you root.

Believe it or not not EVERYONE always wants to be rooted

I got the full game. running azrael 3.0 rom of the 3.70 new ota.

dont worry, if you dont have it you're not missing out. its just halo for your phone ;-)

Getting paid apps on a location where the market does not support them

Guys, i am currently running adw launcher on CM7 and i saw a video of a mt4g running adw ex and omfg it runs awesome, and well i tried looking for the upgrade option but i cannot find it
I am not in the us and therefore i cannot get it from the market, i would also like some othet paid apps but there are no paid apps on my end (nicaragua),
Any suggestions?

I believe you can use appbrain and get paid apps that way.

I believe there is an app called market enabler that will allow you to get paid apps in regions not supported. Also check slideMe and see if it available there

Applanet is pirating. It has paid apps that you install for free. It rips the devs out of there hard earned money

Currently None i quickly tried to put the 8lockscreen/overscroll glow,volume hack into the rom itself however the settings menu didnt work therefore it will not be released until Version 2.

This rom seems to be running great, I've not had a single issue since flashing about 6 hours ago. I am however wondering if this or an any gb rom is overclockable? Sorry if this is a lame question but I haven't seen anything mentioned one way or another any place that I have looked.

I'd say no.
As far as I know you need a kernel that allows you to step over 1ghz and this is most likely stock kernel since we don't have source for it...

Tegrak in the market will oc the stock rom and kernel. Free version I think gets up to 1.3ghz

It was removed due to their being several better messaging apps on the market.
To answer the overclock question until source for the kernel is released the onlyway to overclock is to use tegrak.
It is awesome to know I am jut shy of 150 downloads after 1.5 days.thanks for downloading my rom and hopefully more of you will post you thoughts.

Couple of things, if you put in addons like zedge and ADW plese put them in /data/apps not /system/apps, since this makes it a pain to uninstall/remove.
secondly, include a file manager, i hate having to install a file manager to install my file manager. 3rd include the Email.apk, i dont understand this latest trend towards removing that, it's rather important and fair amount of us use exchange, again it's a pain to put back and no i don't want to use the other **** email programs from the market

I will highly consider this however i will most likely optimize the pngs to make it smaller and it will probably end up on the sd card for quick removal by those whome that don't want to use it and prefer one from the market.I will however suggest to you if you have not already try k9 mail it is by far the best email app on the market and provides all the functionality plus customization options.
To Answer your question on the file manager i am currently working through and evaluating a few which i consider the best and will be releasing one with version 2.0 which will be optimized and then included in the rom.
The last thing you brought up was the placement of the included app's.I will also in version 2.0 happily move those to the sd card.

Not for me...press menu-my apps. The apps are now labelled installed/not installed rather than purchased.

I was about to post this app here, you beat me
New market isn't much slower than old market to me, the new UI is so much better that it's worth it imo.
Maybe people keep deleting the market cache all the time, then of course it will take longer to load.

???? i can see all my installed, purchased, and even my purchased but not installed apps in "my apps"... have you tryed to uninstall your previous version before installing the new one?
