Hello little Android peoples!
I've been a proud user of a HTC Incredible for some time now. It's been a very fun phone to use on a daily basis, but I have just 1 little question to ask Xda.
My question is: Where is the location of the "wallpaper Gallery?"
"Menu>Wallpaper>Wallpaper Gallery"
As of right now, there is a very simplistic wallpaper on my Incredible I just would hate to loose. I know taking a screenshot is a possibility on saving the background. I'm just curious if there is an easier way of doing this?

hm?
I have the same question: Where is the location of the "wallpaper Gallery?"
Thanks!

Hi all.
I'm new to Android (moving over from WinMo) and I have a couple of questions;
Does anyone know if there are any reliable apps that can change wallpapers at regular intervals or according to location?
It would be great if the app could randomly select wallpapers too.
Secondly, I know that Android (on the HTC Desire/Bravo at least) allows for the creation of multiple panels, is it possible to have the phone switch to a particular panel at a particular time or location i.e. have the phone switch to a work panel at 0900 and then home again at 1800?
Thanks in advance
i love this idea i want to know if anyone gots any info on this as well

Hi.
I found WallSwitch (its in the Market place. This allows random and timed wallpaper switched. It's at version 2.0.2 at the moment.
Neat little heap; stable, doesn't fall over in a heap if the images are moved.
Hope this helps.
Hi everyone, noob here.
I come to you for advice after exhausting my ability to Google properly.
I have an idea for a homescreen project and I will try to describe it as clearly as possible. I am running a Motorola triumph with cm7.
I saw a screenshot of someone's phone which I am hopeless to find again.
HERES WHAT I WANT:
On my main homescreen I want shortcut links to other homescreens that are organized by function (work, communication, social, gaming). I would like those shortcuts to be text-based, but larger than the standard icons.
As far as I can tell, only adwlauncher ex has shortcuts to other screens. I don't want to swipe, nor zoom out to a view of all screens to select.
The reason adw bothers me is that there is seemingly no way to change the size of icons. I downloaded desktop visualizer but it does not give me the option to choose one of adws "screen 1,2,3" shortcuts to configure.
In the simplest terms, I want adws screen shortcut links with the ability to resize or change them. Maybe I'm missing something simple (this is my first Android and I've only had it for maybe 45 days so that's probably likely), but I wanted to seek advice from the best forum for information.
Thank you for following my meandering mind, if you have any questions I will try to clarify.
James
I hope it's OK, I don't want to make a bad impression, I want to bump this thread.
Have you tried folders I have four system media tools games with hundreds of apps between them.
There's an app called smart shortcuts that organizes stuff all so.

Hello, first of all, I want to apologize because I didn't know where to post this.
Here is my idea:
A simple launcher (the design doesn't matter for the moment) with an innovative function (I haven't seen it in any place), the app drawer can be scrolled up and down using the gravity sensor (I don't know if this is the exact hardware which it will use), for example, If I tilt the phone forwards, the apps will scroll down (like falling) and If I tilt the phone backwards, the apps will scroll up.
I'm looking for someone interested in my idea who wants to take this as a hobby, the point is that I don't know anything about development, but I can use very well graphic design tools such as Illustrator and Photoshop. We can work together.
Sorry for my very bad english.
Greetings and again, sorry for posting this here.
Hello all, my question is one which is quite simple in nature, all I wish to know is if one can change the background for this device, by background I mean the wallpaper, I am not to enamoured by it you see, and would love to select a wallpaper of my own choice.

No ...in a word, at least not at the moment anyway .... Your not the only one that would like to see this.
So, after searching the Apps section and trying a few Apps suggested by some others, I am at a loss for why this doesn't exist. I know Lock screens are pretty well dead due to the advent of biometric logins but Live Wallpapers still seem to thrive. I know all the bad that comes with them, battery life and whatnot. But every Live Wallpaper I have seen, is little more than either a looped video or an animation that plays in a loop (maybe the rare one is interactive but I digress). Perhaps it is because widgets exist, but those too come with their own set of limitations I am sure, since I am not a developer I would not know.
If anyone remembers the HTC Sense 5 Weather Live Wallpaper, it was on the lockscreen but that is unimportant. It was a great weather live wallpaper, had excellant animations including lightning rain drops on the screen, snow, moon cycle, etc..
I am looking for a fullscreen widget that will do this, or perhaps a halfscreen? The point is, a widget that does weather animations based on the current weather conditions and perhaps a few hours out and then when you press on the widget, it would open whatever default weather app you had or at the least, whatever app it was using for its information.
Since I am pretty sure this app doesn't exist, it either means this is a new idea (VERY unlikely) or that there is a limitation somewhere (perhaps only on Samsung devices?) that is preventing it from working the way I am hoping. Its been many years since I was here and it makes me wonder if this idea has already been hashed out and found to be dead or if the idea just went away.
If anyone can let me know, I would appreciate it. If I am missing something, perhaps an app that looks a bit shady (low number of reviews and downloads) but is exactly what I am looking for, please give me the name. I've been all over the Play Store and the Galaxy Store and it kind of makes me wonder why this doesn't exist or if I am just blind.
FYI, my current device is the Fold 3, so if HTC has something that is what I am looking for but won't work on my device, it will suck but the question is still valid.
Thanks!
